Not bad considering the business they are in. If a performer wants to do a scene without a condom they know the risks. Nobody IS forcing that person to do the scene
Government interference is rarely a good thing.
So it's pretty much your word against BK's. Knowing BK's had first hand experience in this area, and you pretty much come here to troll, I'd say, cry all you want. In fact, why don't you get so mad you walk offstage?
According to this author, Obama has no intention of winning any or our wars. He simply wants to get out. This would be a good way for him to lose the wars without it being his fault.
It must be in the part of our Constitution that allows the government to force us to buy something. Of course the new defense for that is that social security and medicare aren't in the Constitution either.
He made a statement of fact. He said that, "There's only one reason why anyone is booted from military service- they failed. They either failed medically, administratively, or as a result of adverse performance or conduct."
It's an outright lie and he knows it. I'm not going to sit here, and watch pathetic little hacks like BK slander someone like Major Almy for the Air Forces wrong doing, simply so BK can keep up the narrative that DADT is a happy dandy policy and the military can do no wrong. Guess what, they do wrong quite a bit. And it's our responsibility as citizens to call them on it.
Already self regulated and look at the cracker jack job they're doing. Requiring porn actors to use a condom isn't "ridiculous overbearing government control", It's common sense.
In the light of the content of my comment I'm a little bit confused why you were pulled back in, but anyway:
Your guess would be right, but as this law doesn't affect me I don't really care for the outcome.
Assuming you are for the passage of Prop 19, and your premonition comes to fruition, just how does the criminal element behind marijuana use recede under this law?
I don't really know what the premonition is you are talking about. But wouldn't the standard pro argument look like this: If there is licensed production and sale and if taxation is not exceedingly high people will tend to go to a well regulated and monitored store with a diversity of products on offer rather than buying some shabby product on a shady street corner? That would imply that most people producing and selling marijuana were not criminals anymore, therefore causing a receding criminal element.
how does passage of 19 correct those "issues" if people are likely to buy pot legally, cut it, and sell it illegally for profit?
I think this scenario is very unlikely as nobody in his right mind buys a really inferior product while wou have the better quality available everywhere (that might become pressing in connection with selling pot to minors, though). The scenario that is more likely is that marijuana will still be produced and distributed illegally as you can avoid taxation and thereby achieve a higher margin of profit.
I don't know how these pro and con arguments balance out in reality. I haven't really studied the history of legal vs. illegal market in Holland.
I can tell you two things. I'm from Pennsylvania and I see a lot more ads from Sestak, and they are EXTREMELY negative. One features a bunch of veterans bashing Toomey. Secondly, I'd bet my dog (who I love dearly) not one of those people has ever been to a Tea Party meeting.
I received a candidate review from my Tea Party. No instructions or spin, just the issues, and how each person says they stand on the issues.
That was some of the most pathetic, worthless, drivel I've had the displeasure of reading. The guy has received several honors from the military, and his unit was one of the best. he had had his private emails searched and was discharged according to the Air Force for breaching DADT when they asked him, and he never told. Sure they were more than happy to let him do his work and risk his life in Iraq serving our country, but as soon as he was back in the US they cut his pay and kicked him out.
It was Almy's testimony and record that got DADT overturned in a court of law.
Honestly BK, you should be ashamed of yourself. I can't believe I thought you were one of the people worth respecting on this site.
I used to tune into his show but I will not anymore, even for laughs. I think his head is on the cancellation chopping block and he's trying to smile more and be more personable and it comes off as embarrassing to me. Like Mr. Burns on The Simpsons having to smile and then saying "I would have never been able to do that without taking half a white Valium this morning". Part of the fun of watching MSNBC for me after all is watching people who look chronically constipated and who never have anything but a scowl on their face. Yes, YOU, Mr. Alter.

Two shills for Michelle...
You should know, her FIRST exact statement did not have "really" in it:
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,331428,00.html
Not like it matters, but that's even worse than her follow-up version with "really", which is still the opposite of "not really proud..."
So, Norah misquotes Michelle's original quote in her truly "pathetic" impersonation of a journalist... lying to her audience. How nice.

I, for one, am ready to do without those also.

I don't see the "right" to serve in the military listed in our Constitution.
LOL!!

It's sad that 2 or 3 are kicked out each day for something as petty as their sexuality.
In other news-- Pigs fly, Obama's poll numbers are rising, and hell has frozen over.

.....the next rick sanchez?!!!!
These people sure do love to protect women beaters.
Then, at the very least, Palin should have accurately quoted her--instead of spinning it. Glad you agree.
Jer
as Peewee Herman is to macho....
Believe? What you or I believe/think/feel/theorize what she might or might not have felt? Man, you're a liberal.
The topic is... what. she. said.
"For the first time, I'm...." etc., so forth.
It was what it was. Stop spinning, Jer. It's annoying.
