Fox's Chris Wallace Asks: Perhaps Boston Residents Would Have Liked Firearms During Tsarnaev Manhunt?

By Randy Hall | April 19, 2013 | 19:17

A  A

While discussing the ongoing manhunt for the second suspect behind the bombing of the Boston Marathon, Chris Wallace -- the host of Fox News Sunday -- linked the Monday terrorist attack with the debate on gun rights currently going on across the country.

Pointing to the fact that most of the region is in a tight lockdown due to the search for 26-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, Wallace asked how many people in the area “do you think, might like a gun to be able to protect themselves and defend their homes?”

Chris Wallace to Gabby Giffords' Husband: Background Check Didn't Prevent Wife's Shooting

By Noel Sheppard | March 31, 2013 | 14:38

A  A

The gun-hating media are convinced that background checks are the panacea that will prevent mass shootings in the future.

Don't include Chris Wallace amongst them for on the most recent installment of Fox News Sunday, the host told gun control activist Mark Kelly that a background check didn't prevent Jared Loughner from purchasing the weapon he shot Kelly's wife Gabrielle Giffords with in January 2011 (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Washington Free Beacon Scoop Spurs WashPost Double Standard on Slavery Comparisons

By Tim Graham | March 22, 2013 | 08:34

A  A

On Thursday, The Washington Post's Metro section put the Democrats' choice of “news” on the front page. “Democrats keep focus on abortion in Va. Race.” Post reporter Laura Vozzella relayed their outrage that GOP gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli was caught by a Democrat tracker describing abortion as a moral evil like slavery, as did one of his big financial backers, the Susan B. Anthony List.

On Friday, after the Washington Free Beacon reported that Cuccinelli's Democrat opponent Terry McAuliffe kept silent in 2008 as his candidate Hillary Clinton compared slavery to – get this – stripping Democrat convention delegates of their vote in two states, the Post put that Laura Vozzella story on B3. The Free Beacon headline was “McAuliffe Supported Slavery Comparisons Before He Opposed Them.”

Media Attack Ann Romney for Suggesting They Helped Obama Win

By Randy Hall | March 05, 2013 | 16:15

A  A

It didn't take long for liberal members of the press to spew venom at Ann Romney after she stated during an interview on last weekend's edition of “Fox News Sunday” that she's “happy to blame the media” as one of the reasons her husband, GOP former Mass. Governor Mitt Romney, lost the 2012 presidential election.

The fast and furious insults have ranged from a declaration by Jonathan Capehart of the Washington Post that she “is suffering a serious case of sour grapes” and “needs to move on” to a sarcastic Tweet about her from David Bernstein of the Boston Phoenix as “still blaming media” even though he “lost count of stories she and Mitt refused to participate in.”

Fox's Juan Williams on Liberal Sequester Panic: 'I Think the News Media Will Play Into That at Every Level'

By Matt Vespa | February 18, 2013 | 16:09

A  A

During yesterday’s edition of Fox News Sunday, Washington Post editor Bob Woodward, who wrote the book "The Price of Politics" on how Obama handled the debt-ceiling fiasco in 2011, explained again to his media colleagues that it was a White House initiative to use a hatchet with these budgetary matters in the form of sequestration.

When Fox host Chris Wallace suggested the news media would highlight every spending-cut casualty expected from sequestration, liberal analyst Juan Williams agreed: "I think the news media will play into that at every level." Wallace asked Woodward to repeat his reporting:

Chris Wallace: Romney Looked Like 'President Protecting a Lead,' Obama the 'Challenger Trying to Catch Up'

By Noel Sheppard | October 23, 2012 | 08:03

A  A

Although much of Obama's media thought he won Monday's presidential debate in Boca Raton, Florida, Fox News's Chris Wallace saw it much differently.

Speaking moments after the event's conclusion, Wallace said, "I felt in the middle of the debate that if I had been on a desert island for the last four years, and I had just been parachuted into this debate, I would have thought the guy that turned out to be Mitt Romney was the President protecting a lead, and that Barack Obama was the challenger trying somewhat desperately to catch up" (video follows with transcript):

Chris Wallace: Biden’s Constant Interruptions, Smirking ‘Unprecedented’ in VP Debate History

By Matthew Sheffield | October 12, 2012 | 02:38

A  A

Those who watched Thursday night's vice presidential debate couldn't help but notice that current veep Joe Biden was hard-pressed to contain his contempt and disrespect for his erstwhile opponent, GOPer Paul Ryan.

Biden's continual interruptions and smirking were "unprecedented" according to Fox News anchor and former ABC correspondent Chris Wallace. "I don't believe I’ve ever seen a debate in which one participant was as openly disrespectful of the other as Biden was to Paul Ryan tonight," Wallace said after the debate. Video after the jump.

Romney Refers to Benghazi as a Terrorist Attack; AP Treats as News, Acts As If Obama Admin Has Said That All Along

By Tom Blumer | September 25, 2012 | 18:03

A  A

There is clearly no embarrassment threshold at the Associated Press, aka the Administration's Press.

In a dispatch today, an unbylined AP report headlined "Romney: Benghazi a 'Terrorist Attack'" seems to act as if this is some kind of revelation to the GOP nominee even though everyone except Obama administration insiders desperately trying to bring life to the corpse formerly known as the Arab Spring have been saying that for well over a week. It gets much worse than that in the report's third paragraph:

Chris Wallace Asks Obama Adviser 'President Has Time for Whoopi Goldberg But Not World Leaders?'

By Noel Sheppard | September 23, 2012 | 10:22

A  A

Fox News's Chris Wallace on Sunday asked senior Obama campaign adviser Robert Gibbs an absolutely delicious question about the current White House resident's schedule.

During a Fox News Sunday interview, the host said, "The President has blocked out time to appear on The View on Tuesday. So, he has time for Whoopi Goldberg but he doesn’t have time for world leaders?" (video follows with transcript and absolutely no need for commentary):

Fox News's Chris Wallace: Media Needs to 'Stop All This Nonsense' About Canceling GOP Convention for Hurricane

By Ken Shepherd | August 28, 2012 | 16:47

A  A

Noting that President Obama is not taking a break from campaigning, despite Hurricane Isaac's imminent landfall, Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace noted this morning that the media should "stop all this nonsense about whether or not the Republicans should hold their convention tonight."

President Obama "isn't canceling his campaign. He's continuing to politick, because, guess what, what he's doing has no effect, good or bad, on what's going to happen to those folks along the Gulf Coast," Wallace told America's Newsroom host Martha McCallum. Fox's Chris Wallace Asks Cardinal About MRC's Finding of a Near-Blackout of Evening News on Catholic Lawsuits

By Tim Graham | May 27, 2012 | 20:09

A  A

On “Fox News Sunday,” host Chris Wallace not only interviewed Cardinal Donald Wuerl of Washington DC, but asked him about the MRC’s finding that the broadcast network evening news shows only gave the Catholic lawsuits against Obamacare 19 seconds of air time.

He asked: “I don’t know if you’ve heard this, but it you haven’t, I’ll inform you. What do you make of the fact that the broadcast networks have spent a grand total of 19 seconds this week on their evening newscasts – 19 seconds covering the lawsuits by the 43 Catholic organizations. What do you make of that?” (More transcript as well as video below)
