NY Daily News Reports on Chile's 'Do-It-Yourself Abortion Guides'...With No Pro-Life View

Abortion is still illegal in Chile, but Nina Golgowski at the New York Daily News reported Monday that the abortion advocates have a new strategy: “Shocking mock, do-it-yourself abortion guides have popped up on YouTube as part of a disturbing public ad campaign in support of legalizing abortion in the predominantly Roman Catholic country in cases of rape or medical complications.”

Nowhere in the story is there any pushback from pro-lifers (Catholic or non-) objecting to abortion or to these crazy and dangerous tactics. If any of these “experiments” end in serious injury in death, we can expect pro-lifers to be blamed.

In the "abortion tutorial" video series, one woman demonstrates how to fall, stomach first, onto a fire hydrant while walking on a pair of broken stiletto heels. Another woman demonstrates how to get hit by a car.

"Make sure the car hits you head-on, stomach (to) bumper," she instructs before stepping out in front of a traffic light.

In another disturbing video, a woman shows how to fall down stairs while making it appear to be an accident and while potentially minimizing facial scars.

"Cover your face with both hands so that you don't end up with any nasty scars. Don't look down because you could back out," she says while standing backwards on a step's edge.

The narrator insists before falling down steps, the aspiring child-killer should make sure there are no closed-circuit cameras, and the subject should be alone. “Only one person should know your whereabouts in case you end up unconscious.”

This is the “women’s health lobby.” The Daily News piece concluded:

The three videos, released by advertising agency Grey Chile, have been collectively viewed hundreds of thousands of times on YouTube with largely positive acclaim. It's also stirred heated debate in the videos' comment sections.

There’s just no debate reproduced in the New York Daily News.
