NPR Would 'Love to See' a Huntsman-Colbert Ticket
NPR hasn't been shy about its love for Jon Stewart. Apparently, the same reverence applies to Stephen Colbert. On Tuesday night's All Things Considered newscast, anchor Melissa Block noted that Republican presidential candidate Jon Huntsman sat at less than two percent of the polls, but using the royal "We" for NPR, Block declared a Jon Huntsman-Steven Colbert ticket is "a presidential ticket we'd love to see."
Block was promoting Huntsman's appearance on The Colbert Report, in which Colbert "in character" said he was terrified of Chinese people and asked Huntsman to say something in Mandarin that was non-threatening:
COLBERT: What did you just say? What did you just say?
HUNTSMAN: I just said, I think that you ought to consider being my running mate for vice president. (LAUGHTER)
BLOCK: Needless to say, Stephen Colbert did not accept, but that is a presidential ticket we'd love to see.

Right now the Morning Joe crew is trashing all Republicans as extreme. They are saying that BO polls in key states way ahead of all the candidates. What is the true story? They seem to believe BO will be re-elected and of course Howard Dean is plugging for BO.
Needless to say, Stephen

Will Colbert NEVER leave us alone with his hacky, crappy shtick? He's the most annoying one-trick pony (poor man's Borat) on earth.
Media mouthpiece in real politics?

where does Stephan C get taken to task when his big mouth flaps open with his media team preparing all his witty comeback replies. Its one thing to have a controlled tv show where all the good stuff is telepromptered to his read off screens. But media mouthpieces aren't very good when it comes to real life issues when the real quetions and necessary real answers have to be stated. Liberals love " glee clubs " and sequined Hollywood polyester showmen.

It would be pretty cool to see that ticket work. It won't get anywhere, but inject the extreme political bickering with some comedy would be a welcome relief!
