A new Rasmussen poll has determined that "this year by a nearly five-to-one margin voters believe they are trying to help Barack Obama." Specifically, "50 percent of voters think most reporters are trying to help Obama win versus 11 percent who believe they are trying to help his Republican opponent John McCain."
NewsBusters.org's parent company, the Media Research Center, today released the following statement from President L. Brent Bozell, III.:
"The liberal press is out of control in its partisanship. Overwhelmingly the American people know just how over the top they are in their blatant bias towards Sen. Barack Obama.
"The jig is up for the liberal ‘news' media. Last week, the American people overwhelmingly vilified them for their blatant bias against Gov. Sarah Palin. And now 83% of their audience says they are openly and unashamedly trying to help elect Sen. Obama.
"But the liberal ‘news' media show absolutely no signs of changing their tune. They continue charging forward in full-throated support of Sen. Obama. Their sour notes are striking the wrong chord with an ever-increasing number of Americans."

The liberal media continue to praise the Emperor's clothes
September 11, 2008 - 12:13 ET by c5theneven after more than 50% of the people already see that the emperor is indeed naked.
Sliced either way 61% of voters think that the media is biased. What a damning vedict that the media will undoubtedly brush off because they don't think the public is 'knowledgable' enough to make the right determination.

Remember this
September 11, 2008 - 12:57 ET by KC MulvilleI might believe them if I thought that the army of Obama media hacks (including the oppo research lawyer brigade) dropped into Alaska were willing to admit it publicly that they haven't found anything. So far, all they've come up with is anonymous people whispering that the Palin kid was involved in a vandalism, even if the actual participants have already said expressly that Palin wasn't involved. If those dirt-diggers were willing to stand up in a week or so and declare, "She's clean, we can't find anything," then maybe they'll have some credibility.
They have absolutely no credibility, and they're sliding into the negative. Now, when they assure us that something is true, we now all assume it's false.
But this won't stop the new
September 11, 2008 - 14:07 ET by Indiana JoeBut this won't stop the new leftist meme of a conservative bias in the press. It is to laugh.
You really can't make this stuff up. But they keep trying to.

Okay, where are these journalists trying to help McCain? I've never seen any.
