Pelosi on Snowden: ‘It's Pretty Good That He's Stuck in Moscow Airport. That's Okay With Me’

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has said some amazingly stupid things throughout her career.

Sunday was no exception when during a discussion with NBC Meet the Press host David Gregory about National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden, the former Speaker of the House actually said, "I think it's pretty good that he's stuck in Moscow airport. That's okay with me.”

When the subject of Snowden came up, Gregory asked, “How important do you think it is that America track Edward Snowden down and make him face justice?”

Pelosi amazingly responded, “Well, I think it's pretty good that he's stuck in Moscow airport. That's okay with me. If he can stay there, that’s fine.”

Even Gregory realized the stupidity of this firing back, “But he's still in a position to leak more documents.”

Indeed. And the longer he stays in Moscow, it certainly seems the greater the likelihood that whatever information he’s got is going to end up in Russian hands.

The former Speaker of the House apparently isn't concerned about that.

She probably figures that if that happens, she and her Party will just blame it on George W. Bush like they’ve done everything the past almost thirteen years and their accomplices in the media will back them up.

That said, isn't it astonishing that someone of her obviously limited intellectual capacity was actually two heartbeats away from being President?

Boggles the mind when you think about it.
