D.L. Hughley: ‘Romney Definitely Ain’t Messing With No Broke (N--gas)’

Comedian D.L. Hughley channeled singer Kanye West Wednesday to take a cheap shot at Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.

Appearing on MSNBC’s The Last Word, Hughley said of the former Massachusetts governor, “I’m not saying that he’s a gold digger, but he definitely ain’t messing with no broke - you know how it goes” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

D.L. HUGHLEY: But I think Mitt Romney is just - and obviously he's doing very well and it's a tighter election than it probably should be - but he seems so dismissive of everybody that isn't like of his ilk. We’re all 47 percent to him. I’m not saying that he’s a gold digger, but he definitely ain’t messing with no broke - you know how it goes.

Yeah, we and the folks on the set including O’Donnell who laughed know that what he was saying was “broke n--gas.”
