Roseanne Barr Warns Obama About Medical Pot: 'You’ll Get My Joint When You Pry It Out of My Cold Dead Fingers'

Comedienne Roseanne Barr had some strong words for Barack Obama concerning any crackdown on medical marijuana.

Appearing on CBS's Late Show, Barr said, "I'll tell you this Obama: you’ll get my joint when you pry it out of my cold dead fingers" (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):

In the middle of his interview with the crazed comic, host David Letterman asked about medical marijuana.

"Dave, you know one thing I want to say is Obama’s trying to take our medical marijuana away over there in California, and trying to send in federal troops to get our medical marijuana," Barr warned. "And I'll tell you this Obama: you’ll get my joint when you pry it out of my cold dead fingers, that’s what. And I know I don't want to get on Obama's kill list. You know, I've got to look out for drones on my way home now, I know that."

After the audience laughter subsided, Letterman asked, "Let's say a person signs up for the medical marijuana. Is there a list of ailments that you have to support or prove you have?"

"You know, it's not funny, Dave," Barr replied. "It's a real medicine that a lot of people can't live without. I mean, it really helps with like mental illness and stuff which is why I use it."

No argument about her mental illness.

"The only bad thing," Barr continued, "is you can't own a gun. If you're on the medical marijuana, they won't let you have a gun. Well, all these drunks are walking around with guns. What the hell?"

The comedienne was obviously high at the time.

But she wasn't done with the inanities.

"Did you know that in the state of California, the big government is trying to get these porn stars and force them to wear rubbers? The Founding Fathers are rolling over in their graves on that, Dave!"

To quote the old United Negro College Fund commercials, a mind is a terrible thing to waste.
