Biden insults minority kids; luckily room is nearly empty.
Submitted by motherbelt on Sat, 07/14/2012 - 10:53am.
VP Joe Biden, at the NAACP convention, insulted all minority kids by calling them "educable." "Educable" is a specific term used in grading degrees of retardation.
Mild Mental Retardation
This group constitutes by far the largest number of those labeled mentally retarded. Persons in this group are considered "educable", and their intellectual levels as adults are comparable to that of the average 8 to 11 year old child.
What would have happened had Mitt Romney used that word?
Luckily, the room was nearly empty. A fact ignored by the maimstream media who were so vigilant in reporting that Mitt Romney was boo'ed.

Direct TV is in a sqabble with Viacom over money. So far it hasn't bothered me because the only 2 of their networks I watch are Spike and TV Land. I don't miss LOGO, the queer channel, Comedy Channel or any of the others. I am not willing to pay more just for BET, MTV1 and 2 CMT, or LOGO, the queer channel.

Dish recently dropped AMC, which I did watch sometimes. Not a huge loss, but annoying as there are 500 other channels I don't watch.
Last year, however, they got into a big to-do with Fox and dropped my Sunshine Network (Gators) and Fox Florida Sports channel for about ten days before the pressure was brought to bear. THAT MADE ME MAD!!!!

But both Seasons 1 and 2 are on Amazon Prime Videos. You need to purchase Amazon Prime first, then the show streams over the internet either to your PC/Mac or to an Amazon Prime Video streamer like Roku. There looks to be a charge to watch the show. It's all explained on the Amazon Prime Videos web site.
Netflix has at least Season 1. I don't know if they have Season 2, but there is a one month free trial so the you could check out Netflix for free.
Hulu only has webisode shorts and I read they will not be carrying AMC shows. Who knows. The industry is fairly fluid and relationships can change.

With the exception of Spike, there's nothing that Viacom offers that I want to watch. I wish some satellite company would start offering ala-carte service, so I could just pick my channels. Logo, Comedy Central and the MTV's wouldn't be there, along with all of the shopping channels.

I'm not sure I'm ready to switch all the way over to streaming internet just yet....the providers are looking at usage and are preparing to jack the high end users with pretty heavy duty charges for that use. Maybe when they decide not to screw the customers, I might consider it.
We had streaming NetFlix for a while, but their selection wasn't that great, and their stream wasn't reliable. I don't really watch stuff on Hulu, although I do stream football games (Euro channels have all the stuff that's blacked out here).

So Obama lowers the welfare threshold.
Submitted by bkeyser on Sat, 07/14/2012 - 11:55am.
This came out the other day and I've read and heard a number of things about this since.
Republicans are furious that the Executive branch has once again shown no regard for the co-equal Legislative branch and single-handedly rewritten the Welfare Reform Act signed by Bill Clinton. A successful program that cut in half the number of people on welfare by giving them the incentive to support themselves. It has been widely upheld as hugely successful; no one has been suggesting it needed reform.
The argument from the administration seems to be that they are simply allowing States greater ability to determine who should be granted federal benefits. Things like "smoking cessation classes" and "helping their child with homework" could now be considered "work" or "in lieu of work" and thus qualifications for federal assistance.
I heard Cavuto talking about this on FNC Radio this morning and the one thing I haven't heard anyone mention is: What is the likely ratio of democrat governors vs Republican governors who will take the feds up on their new generous offer? We're talking about federal (taxpayer) dollars here; benefits come from the federal budget. So if California and Illinois and New York all take the invite to lower the threshold for giving taxpayer money to their residents while Texas, South Carolina and Virginia do not, isn't that just another way to transfer the wealth from Red states to blue states?
How can this not be the goal? In one stroke of the dictatorial pen, more democrats are entrenched in government handouts while Republicans are seeing less from their tax dollar and are effectively poorer. He using Republican money as the bait for more democratic fish. Right? Am I wrong about this?
I put together another Photoshop yesterday on this, and borrowed the new Dutton movie title for emphasis. This is bad medicine that is instantly addictive.

Yep, he was chosen ostensibly because he brought foreign policy experience (and "gravitas," which I think is Beltway-speak for "denser form of shit") to the ticket with Obama's three-paragraph resume.
Well, Condi has foreign policy expertise in—uh, pardon the metaphor—spades. And she covers several of the required PC checkboxes, including the unmarried woman voters (which means poaching a few Sarah Jessica Parkers from the Ahnnan Wintouahs of the left).
I heard someone criticize Romney for no foreign policy experience or plan; Condi will answer that question. (But in his case—my brother!—it was just a case of using any stick to beat a dog.)

And back then, although I allready knew the inside scoop on the Great Pretender - Boy Baraka - even I was astonished when his campaign picked Joe Plugs Bite-Me as a running mate........................it only solidified my view that this was going to be a serious disaster for our country - and unfortunatly, that omen has come true.
I don't know who will be the VP pick, but it's a guaran-damn-teed bet that the StateRun Media and the Obama Destruction Team will try to take no prisoners - and that includes Ms. Rice.................you remember how she was treated when Bush appointed her, right?? I use my tortilla press to squeeze the water out of grated potatoes for hash browns (works great). I don't actually cook enough duck to need a press, I generally render down whatever fat I have (beef, pork, chicken, duck) in a saute pan, then freeze it in an ice cube tray for use later. One of my best "cooking tricks". Baby bello mushrooms sauted in beef fat (particularly the trimmings of honkin' prime steaks done on the grill) is a delicacy beyond description!

- Congressman Patrick Kennedy had a widely-publicized automobile accident at the U.S. Capitol Complex in Washington, D.C. on May 4, 2006. He said he had taken Ambien and an anti-nausea drug, and had no recollection of the accident. This closely matches the symptom set attributed to sleep-driving after taking Ambien.
The Ambien thing has been debated in psychiatry-a lot.
Submitted by drsamherman on Sun, 07/15/2012 - 1:13pm.
The particular combination of drugs that Patrick Kennedy supposedly took that evening included Ambien (general name zolpidem), Phenergan (generic name promethazine) and possibly other substances though I have not seen any toxicology screen ever released to the public. More than likely, it was washed down with plenty of alcohol in one form or another.
Ambien is known for its ability to induce somnambulism (sleep walking) in certain patients. The sleepwalking phenomenon reportedly includes patients getting up in the middle of the night and performing sometimes complex actions (driving somewhere in a car, committing a crime, working with equipment, etc.) that the drug has become legend in the forensic psychiatry community as the blame-all for criminals seeking to cover for crimes by claiming the Ambien made them do it. It became the chemical equivalent to the "Devil made me do it". Promethazine (Phenergan) is a low-potency phenothiazine related to stronger, more potent members of the class of phenothiazine antipsychotics such as Thorazine (generic name chlorpromazine), Stelazine (trifluoperazine) and Trilafon (perphenazine). The other well known antipsychotics that work by a similar mechanism of action are Haldol (haloperidol) and Navane (thiothixene). To some extent, the effects of any phenothiazine or related derivative antipsychotic might be synergistic (or additive) to the zolpidem (Ambien)--but add in alcohol into the mixture the patient takes and watch the weirdness begin in a select few patients. Most patients just roll over and start snoozing for multiple hours, but a few do get some strange side-effects. For Patrick Kennedy, the Ambien thing was probably just a cover-up, keeping in the same tradition of his father and uncles and grandfather in being alcoholic, drug-abusing, philandering, lying and malingering scum.

So to stay in business it's exported. Some KOOK in some stinking office in DC want's to make it illegal for these refineries to continue to export evil high sulfur fuels.
As if some Sulfur Dial exists on a control panel, in these evil refineries, that can just be turned down.

Submitted by CobraMan on Sun, 07/15/2012 - 11:45am.
"As if some Sulfur Dial exists on a control panel, in these evil refineries, that can just be turned down."
The sulfur content can be reduced, dialed down, so to speak, through the use of a hydrotreater, the use of hydrogen and a catalyst like platinum (sort of like a catalytic converter) to remove the sulfur which is bonded to the hydrocarbons. It would cause a rise in processing costs, but it can be done effectively. There is an added benefit of being able to sell the newly refined sulfur at market value. The refineries could, if they wanted to, "dial down" the sulfur content, but that would reduce profits. It's far more profitable to sell that sulfur rich fuel to a country that doesn't have the same restrictions on its use as we do.

Guess I am confused. I thought that the sulfur content was added in prescribed amounts to help from aneling the parts in the combustion chamber? Am I wrong? Because I have thought this for a very long time.
A$$ploding hypocrisy of the week!

Obama cites Truman's "The buck stops here" to blame Romney for Bain.
President Obama said today in an interview with a local Washington DC radio station that as presidents go, “Harry Truman said the buck stops with you.” Meaning he thinks this applies to [Romney]
THIS FROM THE MAN WHO BLAMES GEORGE W. BUSH FOR THE ECONOMY EVEN AFTER BUSH HAS BEEN LIVING IN DALLAS DOING NOTHING FOR THREE AND A HALF YEARS.
Obama was using the Truman quote to suggest that Mitt Romney is responsible for what went on at Bain Capital, even if he was CEO in name only and not involved in operations.

Yeah, Ms. Rad - I saw the text of Boy Baraka saying that Romney should 'be transparent' and 'be accountable' and 'the buck stopping' and all of that - and, of course, I cracked up laughing at the delusional moron - and I can't figure out why the people who are interviewing him, or asking him the questions, can just sit there and report his blatent blasphemous and bombastic blabbering without calling him out on his abject dishonesty and delusion!!!
You are right - and I'm sure that my mentor Dr. Sam would agree - Boy Baraka does NOT live in the 'real world', and he is NOT competent or in total control of his faciities. And the sick thing is not only that he believes himself, but there's a lot of other people who believe him too!!!

I've said it before, he reminds of Martin Sheen at the end of the movie "The Dead Zone". Sheen plays a politician who's got a guy aiming a gun at him, so he grabs a nearby baby and holds it up in front of him. I can just see Obama doing such a thing.
Hmm, what would happen if Michelle was the only thing he could grab to hold in front of him?!
Well, if he hid behind her

Well, if he hid behind her double caboose and her thunder thighs, he might be safe!!! That's a lot to hide behind!!!
And Boy Baraka has displayed such utter and abject lack of class - on so many occasions - that there is NOTHING I I would put past him - the boy is an 'overachiever' when it comes to narcissism and self-absorbtion, but a complete ZILCH when it comes to class, style, or common sense.
Election Fraud In Cleveland, Ohio
Submitted by stratman on Sat, 07/14/2012 - 5:13pm.
Friend called today to tell me of an encounter with Democrats doing a voter registration drive. He stopped at a gas station in the hood. Yes, the real hood, not the suburban neighborhood. Several people, White and Black, were outside with clipboards. A woman approached him and asked if he was registered to vote. He asked her why she was asking. She told my friend that
Yep, that's right. The woman registering people in the poor Black inner city neighborhood was perpetrating an election fraud to scare people, mostly Blacks due to the location, into registering and voting.
My friend told her he was a registered Republican and went about his business. As he got back into his vehicle and drove away he saw the clipboard people pointing and laughing at him. Chicago thug politics - elect Obama at any cost - in Cleveland.
This tells me several things:
My friend will be calling the election board Monday, although it may do no good - most likely a Democrat will be taking his complaint.
Wow, Strat....

In the mean time, I think you ought to e-mail Breitbart's site. Over and over if necessary. This sounds like it's right up their alley.

I forgot to add that either the paper on the clip board or a button the voter registration woman wore said "African-Americans For Obama".
The voter registration fraudster was White. Maybe it was Chelsea "I just love black guys too much" Handler?
Good idea about Brietbart's site. If I remember, I'll encourage my friend to email Brietbart's site. Better it come from him than a third-party. I'll post back if there is an update.

I heard about this for the first time last night.
I searched the internet and found little that wasn't from bloggers, even on Right of Center sites like FreeRepublican and Red State. There seems to be a number of hits on Ron Paul's site, which makes me think it could be the source of the potential misinformation.
Something of this scope would surely be public, it is reupted to involve a number of states, and already been investigated by larger Media types like Breitbart, Fox and others. However, it seems there is much less to the story.

Michelle Malkin
While I know Snopes has Leftward bias for candy-coating the Left's misadventures and overstating the Right's adventures, Malkin would not sugar coat if such a potential Leftist corruption of our vote were instituted.
As it is, I don't want any foreign interest involved with our vote.

Submitted by killa37 on Sun, 07/15/2012 - 2:07pm.
Now I'm hearin' (Obamaspeak) that Boy Baraka thinks that Washington DC is 'just as broken' as it was 4 years ago when he rode in on his guilded chariot and was going to upgrade the place!!! Of course, there is no way that he could consider the possibility that HE has helped to make it even worse than it was...............
And, he claims that Mooooooooooooochelle makes a mean pot of chile (don't get between her and her chile!!!!), that he's a real hustler in the pool room (I think he played a lot of pocket pool in Chi-town), and he also claims that he's a pretty good 'doodler'!!
I mean, this is hard-hitting stuff!!! Deep!!! Precient!!! Heavy!!!

Microsoft has had enough of NBC. Lol this marriage lasted a lot longer than I thought, but if they had a prenup, nobody would get anything because this was a ratings loser.
