not all kids nerdy video game players

Here's a fun video of some farm boys doing a parody of a song by a current group called LMFAO.

These boys look like the boys I grew up with. Responsibility and hard work makes boys into men.

If you get a chance, take a look at the Chris Rock thread. A troll named "Sammy John 75" is going after anybody and anything. Make sure you wear your overall waders if you do. 'Scuse the technical term, but the dude is completely batcrap crazy.

Looking at his comments, he reminds me of another troll who ended up getting banned. "Sammy" looks a lot like Auntie Wingie with a big dash of Clevenaive. Or perhaps a foreign poster. Either way, the language was too florid and too many words were misspelled. He didn't seem to catch on to nuance, metaphor or any other advanced language construct either, leading me to believe his claims of having "graduated university" (definitely not an Americanized English idiom) were bogus. He also appeared to pick up my use of "histrionics" and he didn't seem to understand that posting the same response over and over again would make him look like a fool. Whether he is a formerly banned retread, a new non-US troll or a combination, I'm done with him. He takes every disagreement as some kind of sinister accusation, a phrase I'm sure he will "plagerize" (sic) to other posts.

The Kenyan Kow Krap Kreepy

Submitted by killa37 on Sat, 07/07/2012 - 2:20pm.

The Kenyan Kow Krap Kreepy Kommunist is on full 'in your face' mode these days..................first he flatly stated that he makes 'no apologies' for HIS healthcare bill, and that it is 'here to stay', and even in the face of continuing poor economic and employment news, he won't take any responsibility of it, and even stated that 'most people know I've been working hard'...............
so they should vote for him based on the fact that he's got 'more work to do'. Well, to me that's like flipping the bird with both hands while shouting 'F**K YOU' at us........................yet there are countless (and worthless) idiots who still believe him.

And I also read that the owner of an Ohio restaurant that Boy Baraka visited the other day died a few hours after he showed up.
My condolences to the family, but in reality, we can relate to the same thing, as a nation.....................because he showed up at our house too, and we have been dying ever since.

http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/236237-marine-band-play...

Also notice how he has to remind them, "So as your Commander in Chief ...," when blessing them with his bountifulness.

I've always found that most really good leaders never had to spend much time continually reminding their subordinates of the fact.  Not so with Obummer.

A great general once said, "In a society where it is necessary that one person be superior, and another be subordinate, the superior, if he is a gentleman, never thinks about it; and the subordinate, if he is a gentleman, never forgets it."

I guess we know what a fine gentleman Obama is, huh?

Submitted by killa37 on Sat, 07/07/2012 - 3:43pm.

Yeah, I'm sure that Boy Baraka and Mooooooochie Imelda would've rather been doing anything besides hosting some military function - at THEIR house!!! And I'd also be willing to bet that a majority of military 'folks' would disagree with Pvt. Black/White/Red/Yellow being either their Commander in Chief OR being an American.

Your quote reminds me of my own father, the Col. - who was a WW2, Korean War, and Vietnam veteran. Although he basically considered me to be a surf-bum, and rock'n'roll rebel, and a skirt chaser (hell, the way HE adored women, I never figured out what that was all about!!! Hahhahaha!!!), I think he also admired my independant spirit - and I did learn a lot from him, although probably not enough!!! But I used to walk around with him at Schofield Barracks Military Base on Oahu, when I was a teenager, and he would always 'wave off' the enlisted men and junior officers when they were set to salute him - if we were in the PX or Commissary or just somewhere else, and he was in uniform. He knew the difference between 'official' and 'unofficial' protocol.
And I also remember him making derogitory comments about 'boot-lickers' and 'brown-nosers' that he knew and/or worked with, because he was super straight and ethical and figured that hard work and good results should be enough for a man (or woman) to stand on.

And he was one of those 'love your country, but beware of your government' kind of guys - and since he was in G2 - Army Intelligence - I'm pretty sure that he knew what he was talkin' (Obamaspeak) about...................

Schofield Barracks Military Base on Oahu, Been there a few times

Submitted by upcountrywater on Sat, 07/07/2012 - 4:47pm.

Great short cut to Nanakuli, the Kolekole pass, I did that twice pre 9-11...

When heading west off the main base, the road is almost level then drops off down the hill into Nanakuli. The Waianae mountains on both side of the road is a fairly narrow fly zone.... wow filled with zeros...years ago...

Schofield liked (still does) to host concerts for cheap prices..... Of course the entrances to the concert were more stringent than entering the base in the first place.... Crowd control training for sure, Just think those Heroes that searched me went to moslemlands to frisk explosive folk. Thanks for Your Service...

I still get a chuckle out of you mentioning Imelda all the time....Guess one needed to live Hawaii eh!

Submitted by killa37 on Sat, 07/07/2012 - 7:57pm.

Yeah, I've been over the Kolekole pass a couple of times - to surf Makaha on the west side. I've also flown through it on a small plane, which was pretty cool. As I'm sure you know, there used to be a big cross up near the top of the pass, so that it could be seen from many miles.............and some ACLU type of protest organization made the military take it down years ago. I guess it was 'offending' someone!!!

Ahhhh - those concerts at the circular Conroy Bowl, up near the main movie theatre..................when I was a teenager, I went up there a lot, being a music fan and all!!! I saw Bo Diddley - with Jerone Green on maracas, a number of other pop artists who were popular in the early to mid 60's - I can't remember all of their names, and also some do-wop groups, since there was a good sized 'black' contingent in the enlisted segment of Schofield...............of course, I don't remember there being too much 'race' crap in those days. Hell, I've been inside the barracks - as a teenager - playing guitar with some young soldiers that I met.............it was all cool.I just remember that my Dad wouldn't buy me a pair of Ray Charles sunglasses!!!! Hahahahaha!!!

But the best concert I ever saw there was the great Jackie Wilson - and I was standing about 10 feet from him, on the side of the stage. The guy could dance, sing, and perform...........and the chicks were going crazy for him too!!! I was thinking that was a pretty good gig!!! The poor guy died onstage, basically - when he collapsed in the middle of a song and never recovered - but that was a few years after I saw him.

Mooooooooooochie and Imelda have a lot in common, that's for sure!!!

Yes, but that doesn't mean x amount of ammunition was manufactured and the entirety of x was purchased and expended [or preserved] by the contracting government agencies.

I suspect this is some form of a requirements contract between the feds and the manufacturer wherein the parties agree that the latter will be the sole supplier of the product in quantities specified by and delivered to the former on an "as needed" basis.

Or it may be a predetermined quantity based on past usage and future projections.

What it doesn't mean is that massive amounts of ammo are being acquired and stockpiled under one contract and then additional surpluses accrued pursuant to the contract's renewal.

I just don't understand how people just don't see the danger that this country is in.  Unless something is turned around and I mean right f'ing now, we're going to be having a repeat of Germany plus other countries at the beginnings of their dictatorships in WW2.  And what would come after would be an Islamic nightmare because this dictator is Islamic through and through.

Now, I know us folks in flyover country are not nuanced enough, but none of my neighbors plant anything in the road.  In the Stan, I can only think of one thing that gets planted in roads, it begins with an I and ends in ED.  The video is at TAH.

Oh, they're also vexed that the pilot supposedly sang "Bye, Bye American Pie".  Personally, I think the tape was edited by Liveleak, probably with a hand from NBC.

In any event, there is a destructive virus that could affect and prevent internet access for thousands of computers sometime Monday.  The virus is already embedded in the at risk computers, but its presence is completely unknown to the users.

The chances of infection are relatively small, but the consequences to those vulnerable can be significant.  So, go to this website:

www.dcwg.org

...where you will be directed to a second test site.  There is nothing to download.  If you are OK, you'll see a green panel.  Otherwise, a red one.
