Indeed, Obama is seen aa an amateur and Incompetent . .

Submitted by Gary Hall on Sat, 05/12/2012 - 12:04pm.

Indeed, Obama is seen a an amateur and Incompetent, not only here at home, but on the world stage as well.

After all, we can take the word of US News editor, and Obama supporter in 2008, Mort Zuckerman, who was on to this two years ago. Certainly it's only gotten worse since then:

Mort Zuckerman: World Sees Obama as Incompetent and Amateur - The president is well-intentioned but can't walk the walk on the world stage

And, if that wasn't enough to catch the MSM's singularly narrowly focused eyes, this one, out yesterday, should get their attention:

Bill [Clinton] blockbuster: O’s an ‘amateur’

Obama, Bill Clinton said, “doesn’t know how to be president” and is “incompetent.”

Wow - two recognized national figures so clearly stating that our President is both an "amateur" and "incompetent."

Besides that, let's not forget that Poland's Lech Walesa just out refused to meet with Obama,  when Obama traveled to Poland back one year ago, this month.

Not to mention the tingle up my leg observations from big time Democrat and Obama supporter, Chris Matthews of MSNBC's Hardball - only a few months back. Noel Sheppard nailed it, here:

Mathews: The day he got inaugurated, he sent us all home and said, “Thank you, now watch how smart I am.” That's the worst kind of a notion of the presidency. [..]

I don't have a sense that he's ever had a meeting. I hear stories that you will not believe. Not a single phone call since the last election. . .

Somehow - none of this catches the MSM's attention. They know it's out there almost every day, but they look away, and they will never invite any of the messengers on for an interview to discuss why they fell this way, because they simply will not allow the conversation to be heard by the voters.

So, if you're a regular folks out there, chances are you hear absolutely no mention of any of this. I know, as I ask supposedly well read people all the time; do you here this? Did your hear what so and so said? Did you hear about this scandal? Did you know that he never this? And, so on. And, they've seldom have heard any of it.

Time for affirmative action for our national MSM. New Rules (as Bill Maher would say): All national MSM news outlets, are required immediately to adjust their staff (editors, writers, correspondents, and anchors) such that 25% of such positions are filled by confirmed conservatives, who usually vote Republican.

Let's lean them forward a bit.

Zuckerman may have been 'on

Submitted by killa37 on Sat, 05/12/2012 - 1:48pm.

Zuckerman may have been 'on to it', but I vehemently disagree with his statement that Boy Baraka is 'well-intentioned', and I don't need to waste any bandwidth explaining my reasons why.

Clinton's statement is a mix of ego, bluster, jealousy, and truth.

I read this article that we're discussing - and I thought the whole thing was pretty jaded...................why the hell should someone in Portugal expect ANYONE from the USA to be making their life better - or Somolia - or Egypt, for that matter. And ESPECIALLY Boy BlahBlah......................who definitly can 'talk the talk' (hell, besides playing golf, what else does he do???), and believes that when he says something, it becomes truth and reality....................but it's more like passing gas - once it comes out of his big mouth, it stinks up the place for a while, and then disipates into the atmosphere, along with all of that other global warming.

Odrsamherman - thanks for that story

Submitted by Gary Hall on Sat, 05/12/2012 - 12:29pm.

The story begins with:

In Europe, where more than 200,000 people thronged a Berlin rally in 2008 to hear Barack Obama speak

They're still saying that. There were not 200,000 people there. One can compare the shots of Beck's crowd to the Berlin crowd. If O had 200K+, then Beck had 400K. Or, they could have use the police estimate, 79,000  - or they could have tried counting them - there are methods and there were aerial shots on German TV. I did. I sit down one Sat and using the shots and Google Earth for the measurements and applying very conservative rules of thumb estimates for number of people per sq. yard (outside of the dense bodies - I simply just counted the stragglers. I came up with 74,000 - and "change."

Here's one shot of the crowd in Berlin - Looking towards the stage.

Now. When the MSM (foreign included) doesn't like the event, as in here in Venzuela, where this is the opposition to Hugo Chavez - they call it "tens of thousands."  Easily was over 1 million people, as the wide boulevard was packed for well over a mile into the distance.

Size matters.

Clooney's Obama party full of 'Hollywood hypocrites

Submitted by Gary Hall on Sat, 05/12/2012 - 11:29am.

It's so in one's face, that even one of the Los Angeles Times' resident liberal columnists could take no more. Steve Lopez is a pretty solid face at the LAT's and around Hollywood.  Some may remember that he is the journalist (played by Robert Downey Jr.)  in the movie, "The Soloist," which portrayed "a former cello prodigy whose bouts with schizophrenia landed him on the streets after two years of schooling at Juilliard."

Steve Lopez: Clooney's Obama party full of 'Hollywood hypocrites'

They say tonight's soiree for President Obama at George Clooney's house in Studio City is supposed to gross $15 million, and the operative word is "gross."

Yeah, pardon me for being such a party pooper, but isn't it a little offensive that 150 of L.A.'s high rollers would shell out $40,000 to kiss Clooney's ring and get maybe 10 seconds of face time with Obama?

Got to love it!

As such, one might hope that some in Hollywood notice how obvious their hypocrisy is. I'd also wonder if Lopez crossed the line at the LAT's? Can he do this and keep his job? Others, who've ventured so far against the grain, have moved on.

Lopez' disgust with the event will make fine fodder for Obama's 99% shill claims when the debates roll around in September.

Keep looping that along with the OWS footage, anything that came out of DWS' ignorant, loud motormouth and of course anything said by Fathead Ed.

Submitted by GG_NB on Sat, 05/12/2012 - 11:32am.

I just felt convicted to post this. It should never become old news. Reading or hearing transcripts about what the 9/11 victims went through should always remain in the back of our minds each day and deep in our hearts. Who will keep Americans most safe -- protecting us to the best of their ability from this type of horror from happening again? Who will be tough and true? Who can we trust most dealing with the Middle East?

Because this is what we need to still mourn and always remember:

By the way the apology is sincere, It is not the standard Commiecrat line if she has offended anybody, because she has offended the entire state of Mississippi. I apologize for not working hard enough to keep her from being elected.

At least you'd know you had a chance. Some place like MA or CA? Fuggitabout it. There are some conservative districts in CA of course, but other than that, it's lib-central.

Here in VA, we lean conservative for the most part, but even that is not as it was, due to Northern Virginia, which votes like it's Southern DC, and it's so populated it takes a heavy toll on the rest of the state in US Senate and Presidential elections now.

MSDNC alert: Tamron Hall's temper tantrum

Submitted by Mary Louise Turner on Sat, 05/12/2012 - 1:43pm.

The crazies at MSDNC are at it again! This time, Tamron Hall had an on-air temper tantrum at the Examiner's Tim Carney. The May 11th interview concerned MSDNC's coverage of a bogus Washington Post story about Mitt Romney. Mr. Carney got frustrated with Ms. Hall's line of questioning and she didn't like his response. Why hasn't MSDNC fired this woman?! It's amazing how liberals get so paranoid when their "superiority" is questioned.

Submitted by GregE on Sat, 05/12/2012 - 11:43pm.

I have sent things to a friend related to economic issues and other things, and the response has been to blow it all off with the mindset that we've always come out of things and we will again.

Yes, we may, but why? Just because we say so and because it's always turned out ok? That's a dangerous mindset. We are a (mostly) free nation, having been born into it, and human nature is such that we're comfortable. We expect nothing to happen, because it doesn't. We expect to always be free, because we always have been. We can't fathom something happening here that has happened in other parts of the world and that we find to be horrible, hideous, evil, etc. Yes, it can.

Remember in late 2008 when we were told the economy was on the brink of absolute chaos, the banking industry on the brink of disaster.............everyone (there were very FEW exceptions) didn't see that coming. So today, when we're told things are getting better, not great but it's getting better my question is..........is it really? Or are the same people who didn't see the first one also blind to the next one?

I happen to think that right now, our military will remain strong and true and able to protect us and stand their ground. But it's not really paranoid to have some concerns about what will become of America, for those who expressed theirs here. Take those tent bozos (some who took drugs and got violent) and combine with them the type of Lefties who are so filled with hate and so desperate (unlike you) and some other disenfranchised types -- if they organized and linked up with a dangerous group or groups in an underground way and IF they had an administration secretly backing them or looking the other way...

You get a grip, friend. Because it IS possible. Evil is always possible on earth. There are many things that have happened already in America that many thought never would. But for me, I have faith in our military to protect us now, from their sheer overwhelming numbers and their oath to the Constitution. However, the LAST thing that needs to happen is cuts in active military, recruits and/or our technologies that kick b***. AND new military need to be screened like never before.

Don't directly reply back to this, please. Leave me the option to do something with it, please.

P.S. For those who believe the Bible, America is not explicity mentioned as a player in the End. WHY? How could this be? There are only so many possibilities as to why. Those who don't believe the Bible as factual need not reflect.

Martial Law?

Submitted by Agnostic on Mon, 05/14/2012 - 10:15am.

At best it could be enforced in a 20-30 cities nation-wide with little actual control over the entire population.

Fear and complacency are the only things that would allow the government any extended control over the population right now.

That being said - a simple study of voting trends and population concentrations shows that within 20 years Democrats should have a stranglehold over the government by easily having enough "automatic' votes to maintain Congressional control (not necessarily filibuster proof) and Electoral College control. This may not be the end of the US but unless it changes then there will have to be partitions within the Democrat party to maintain the internal divisiveness needed to maintain the visions of the founders.

I have my moments though they are not always coherent or constructive. I appreciate the video but I can not do video on this thing without shutting down too much - call me old but this computer is set up the way I like it and I'm not going to change until it goes up in smoke.

Sadly, what is worse than the final paragraph in my post above is that history tells us that in our current cycle we are due for a major change in balance structure of the world - that could be anything from a dramatic change in technology (not necessarily improvement), a world war type scenario or the collapse of the world wide financial system (plus others I couldn't even fathom). It isn't just the type of world we live in but the events and in certain terms the lack of particular events (namely victories) that have been leading us to this point.

I understand very easily how some religious people are saying this is the time for the Apocalypse (as they have been saying for centuries) but in more practical terms considering the power structure being built in the ME, BRIC successes, the nations hoarding precious metals, technological advances, and the reallocation of natural resources - the way things are turning out now - the Apocalypse as described in Revelation will be put off for a very long time as stagnation sets in to the nations of the world.

In truth, I am still somewhat optimistic that even though we are heading for a future that will ultimately be a drastic change from the illusions we believed just 20-30 years ago of American benevolence and spreading the relatively liberal ideas of freedom to the rest of the world. I still hold that the human spirit (religiously infused or not) remains a lover of freedom and will learn lessons of differing between reliance and self-reliance - the American experiment will not be seen as a failure because most will see what went wrong was a lack of faith in each other that allowed too great of a faith to be placed in the government. The Pandora's Box of freedom and capitalism have been opened and can not be closed.

And I understand about your computer and links possibly creating a problem. I am just bummed you can't see it. But if you copy the address down exactly as it is (I know, what a pain) and EVER can play it on someone else's computer, I'd be so happy. No pressure...I just feel like I personally fail when I can't follow through on something like this when I feel led to with someone...it's like this huge weight on my shoulders, but don't let that bother you. LOL! ;)

Thanks for your post. As for the End Times, nobody knows but God. There are clues in the Bible, of course. There are many Bible scholars who point to this being the lead-up time, but there are some key things ,entioned in the Bible that have not happened yet (as my human mind understands) that tend to point to this not being the real-close lead-up time. But only God knows, and those key events can happen anytime, of course. And just as none of us know our time, there is no time to waste in accepting...don't worry; I'm almost done.

So ya'll think about it -- all ye open-minded [ringing of the bell] and open-hearted to the Good News. And between this post and my video, I'll likely get the boot off of here before Disqus ever comes on the scene!

Coal suddenly reappears as part of Obama's energy plan!

It now replaces "fuel efficiency" on the "all of the above" wheel.

LOL, I got that Gaffe from MOTUS Friday

Submitted by Blonde on Sun, 05/13/2012 - 1:37pm.

Too bad I didn't see the HotAir article. I got the screen grabs from MOTUS, and then had to do my own cropping. See "Staff Incompetence Part Trois".

Obama's Gaffes are to the point I'm getting lists within "the list"!!! Bowing, Speak to the Hand, Staff Incompetence....maybe I need to do #X(a), X(b), X(c) etc. Maybe if I hit 200 before election day I'll start doing sub-headers on these Gaffes.

Oh, still no news from Stupid. I think he's now afraid to blog, LOL.

ABC has decided to cancel "Missing", which stars pro-abortion brow-beater Ashley Judd, after just one season.

The announcement did not reveal to what extent Ms. Judd's political views contributed to the cancellation.

Rick Santorum has not yet released a statement.

Hey bubba, I was just readin'

Submitted by killa37 on Sun, 05/13/2012 - 1:53pm.

Hey bubba, I was just readin' a little interview with the Reverand Jeremiah Wright - you know, Baraka's 'mentor'?? He was tellin' how he was offered a 'bribe' to shut up during the election, since it was hurtin' Boy BlahBlah's chances, because the media was 'eatin' him up!!!

Well, I don't seem to recall the media 'eatin' him up, other than those li'l ol' right-wing conspiriters............in fact, I think the StateRun Media went out of their way to NOT mention Rev. Wright - and if he DID get mentioned, they just poo-poo'd it away.

But the ironic part of the story, to me, was when Boy Baraka (who apparantly has been to Wrights house countless times, whereas he only saw Bill Ayers walkin' his dog in the neighborhood), told Wright that his 'problem' was that he 'had to tell the truth'!!!! Now, I've stated countless times that I have more 'repect' for Wright than I do for Obama (hell, I have more respect for the centipede I squashed yesterday than I do for Obama!!!), because he WAS 'honest' - at least as it relates to his dialogue and opinions. And we all know that Boy Baraka CANNOT be honest about his - although I don't think he is capable of it anyway, since his whole life HAS been a lie!!! But I found it to be a very intriguing statement nonetheless......................the only time Boy Baraka 'tells the truth' is when he makes a mistake!!!

Actually, it's a form of schizophrenia.

Submitted by drsamherman on Sun, 05/13/2012 - 3:58pm.

The old "I reject your reality and substitute my own" brand. Very classic presentation of a mixed schizophrenia case. Not all schizophrenics are paranoid to the stereotype, and their "world" consists of the multiple sensory hallucinations and they perceive a different reality. Layers on top of a schizophreniform episode to full blown schizophrenia quite easily. Also layers with bipolar type 1 and schizoaffective disorder--a fancy term for a mood disorder (usually a major depression) with schizophrenia added.

The extremes of narcissism and sociopathy also have what we used to term "run-ins", or personality components that fed into altered perception or cognition akin to hallucinatory events.

Dave, as you well know, the Constitution, the Bible, the Quran, and any other set of documents that lay the groundwork for their respective agendas and rules to live by are SECONDARY to Boy Baraka, and are only used when he can find something there that will help his cause.................otherwise, they are out-dated, narrow-minded, and out-of-touch with his bold and courageous 21st century agenda. Basically, Boy Baraka knows MORE, and is MORE important, than any of these things............and these dumb-ass mooooooooooooooooooooooslems have a lot of nerve disrepectin' our first Gay President!!!

By the way, didn't Van 'Red/Green' Jones actually SAY - a few months ago - that even IF Boy Baraka came out and said he was gay, it wouldn't hurt him??? This whole thing is just another scam and scheme perpetrated on the public - which is what his whole existence has been from day one!!!

More whining and handwringing over student loans.

Submitted by drsamherman on Sun, 05/13/2012 - 12:31pm.

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/05/13/business/student-loans-weighing-down-a...

Just three questions:

1) Why isn't the media holding the institutions accountable for their costs? To them, student loans are just a form of instant money from the federal government, and it is as addictive (if not more so) than any drug of abuse I have ever seen.

2) What about those of us who paid off (or are paying) student loans faithfully? Is the government going to give us the shaft just like those who paid their mortgages faithfully?

3) Bringing "fairness" into the equation is a red herring. What makes anyone think they are "entitled" to a free college/university education?

Hey Doc,

Submitted by Boudin on Sun, 05/13/2012 - 1:11pm.

Levin was talking about the student loans the other day.

First of all, the rate increase was written into the bill the dimwits passed.

Second, The average rate increase is $6 bucks a month.

Third, it will not effect anyone with a current loan.

Fourth, taking over the student loans, will cause education cost to skyrocket, not the opposite.

Fifth, Last July, the rates were at the same level as the new increase.

The dimwits created this issue, with their legislation. Now when it's found to be flawed, it's everyone's fault but their own, as usuals. Naturally, our public educated students cant read a contract, so they bite off more then they can chew, and end up protesting in the park.

What I suspected.

Submitted by drsamherman on Sun, 05/13/2012 - 4:05pm.

My children have some small student loans, but they are of the older variety and not the new direct government-funded kind.

What gets me is the idiot in the White House wants to make college free for everyone. Not everyone is college material, nor will a college degree in such interesting but economically useless fields like medieval German poetry guarantee the holder a large salary. A certain component of a college education used to include part-time jobs to introduce students to the idea of working and of being accustomed to the rules of the workplace and adult responsibility. Not anymore.

When this student loan bubble bursts, it will be a hell of a calamity.

When Baracka has his way on student loans,

Submitted by UpNorth on Sun, 05/13/2012 - 5:43pm.

is he going to cut everyone's mortgage interest rate in half, just to be fair?

And who's been pushing the idea that everyone needs a college education?  Good old Baracka.

To re-elect Obama would be like the Titanic backing up and hitting the iceberg again.

And there was another adult in the room filming that who did NOT intervene? My God...it's a ten month old infant with absolutely no capacity to defend itself!

That is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. If the mother or kid were in my care, I would be reporting it to the police and I would either issue a 72-hour involuntary psych hold on the mother and the person filming that and/or would call children's protective services and go there with them and then have them taken in for psych evaluation.

Inhuman. Absolutely inhuman.
