ABC's Bill Blakemore: 'America’s Prestige Damaged by Its Climate Denialism'
One of ABC's chief global warming alarmists Bill Blakemore was at it again Sunday.
At the network's Nature and Environment website, Blakemore actually wrote, "America’s Prestige Damaged by Its Climate Denialism":
One of the world’s most widely known and respected senior scientists tells ABC News that current denial about the basic daunting realities of manmade global warming is “just foolishness.”
He also reports that the rest of the world has now “pretty well given up” on its hope for U.S. leadership in dealing with global climate change.
So began a lengthy screed predictably about how the so-called international consensus regarding anthropogenic global warming is overwhelming, and that the small number of scientists that don't agree with the theory have "significantly less standing in the field of climate science among their scientist peers."
Maybe Blakemore should talk to the over 31,000 American scientists that have signed a petition claiming AGW is not what alarmists warn.
But the best line was a sub-title shortly after that which read, "America’s Prestige Damaged by Its Climate Denialism; World Has ‘Given Up’ on Hoped-for U.S. Leadership."
Actually, it is the prestige of America's media that has been damaged by sensationalistic press accounts of near doom at the hands of trace amounts of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
As NewsBusters has been reporting for years, foreign news outlets in Germany, Australia, New Zealand, and even Canada and Great Britain are far better at sharing both sides of this debate than here in America.
U.S. media's total devotion to the theory and willingness to whitewash deep cracks that were exposed by ClimateGate and other recent admissions of blunders by the International Panel on Climate Change has been the real embarrassment for our country.
On a more personal note, I wanted to share a story told to me by a man sitting next to me on a recent plane flight.
One of his daughters is an extremely gifted geologist with a Ph.D from MIT. She's been traveling the world collecting data on rock foundations. Despite her liberal leaning, during her studies she has concluded that the entire AGW theory is nonsense bearing absolutely no basis in fact or scientific principles.
She brought her findings and conclusions to folks within her department and was surprised to find many of her colleagues shared the same view. When she asked why no one has stood up and exposed the emperor's nudity, she was told the department would lose all funding if that happened.
And this is where America is losing its prestige in the scientific community.
But folks like Blakemore don't want to investigate or report that.

The Chinese and Indians are refusing to pay the EU Carbon tax for air travel and may retaliate economically.
After World War II the EU became "trust fund babies" of the United States to prevent a third war. These nations were freed of any serious international responsibility. Nonsense like "global warming" is the result of idle and unchallenged minds and intellectual lassitude.

We have given them EVERYTHING that they need to catch up with us in weapons technology since the Clinton Administration started it. Now Obama is set to open the floodgates again on "scientific exchange" with the bastards to get them back up to speed after the 8 year drought.
I figure that the Chinese are about 10 years away from being able to just announce to the USA that we have lost and they have won, so we can just start taking orders from them or die. The sad part is, we ain't going to be able to do a damned thing about it, especially if the RBFSOB gets four more years in which to be "more flexible."
Of course, I could be wrong. He may be planning on just surrendering to Rootin' Tootin' Putin first, so that the USSR and the USSA can become allies against China.

While we are getting in heat (no pun intended) about solar, wind, and algae "power," they are roaming the world writing LONG term contracts for oil, and actively looking for more.
They know where the future lies, and they are more than happy for us to unilaterally disarm in the search for sustainable fuel sources.
Oil was the past, oil is the present, and oil is the foreseeable future. A nuclear fusion breakthrough is our best, and only hope, and I just heard that the National Labs are getting less money for fusion research than the RBFSOB is spending on the Train From Nowhere to Las Vegas!

The hoaxers still haven't acknowledged that their was a period in the middle ages where temperatures rose to what is declared as the "climate optimum" that was warmer than we are now experiencing and lasted about 300 years. They haven't acknowledged it because they can't describe why it happened with their current flawed models. Consequently, they also can't acknowledge the period soon after that where global averages dropped well below where they are today, that has been deemed the "little ice age" that lasted almost 300 years. Also a complete mystery to the climate models that claim to be so accurate and predictive of the future.
Combine that with the FACT that there has been no, ZERO, zilch, nada...change in global averages in the last decade.
This issue has become a liberal "inquisition" and is completely and utterly based in ideology.
Given the climatological data from the last 1000 years or so, it is likely the climate has cyclical events that last from 200-300 years within larger cycles that last thousands of years.

A little more than 2,000 years ago the climate was so warm and humid that wheat grew on the northern coast of Africa. Today the climate is cooler and dryer causing the desertification (Yes, a real word unlike denialism) of the northern African coastline. Would the delusional climate-changers argue that we should return to the warmer, more humid climate of the past??
The climate changes, that is what it does, it's called "Weather!"

I did not think so, because they do not exist. There are a number of theories, suppositions, and estimates but none backed by evidence. No reproducible facts to indicate the cause of weather change other than nature. Nature is an unacceptable answer because that would mean the environmental scams of the past decade would be exposed as the frauds that they are and the liberal agenda for a power play would also be exposed.
