Martin Bashir: GOP Candidates Are Idiots for Wanting Sheriff Joe's Endorsement
MSNBC's Martin Bashir isn't pleased with Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio claiming President Obama's birth certificate is a forgery.
Although that's to be expected, it was odd to see Bashir Friday on the show bearing his name end a segment about his disdain for Arpaio by saying, "The only thing that has been proven beyond any doubt is the rank stupidity of Herman Cain, Rich Perry, Michele Bachmann, Mitt Romney, and Rick Santorum all of whom have sought this discredited and ridiculous man's endorsement" (video follows with commentary):
"Rank stupidity?"
For those unaware, Bashir has some history with Arpaio.
As NewsBusters reported in December 2009:
On Monday’s Nightline, co-host Martin Bashir conducted a one-sided, hostile profile of Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s "brutal regime" and attacked his crackdown on illegal immigration as "racial profiling." The 11 minute investigation of the Maricopa County law enforcement official was almost totally negative.
Now, over two years later, Bashir once again trashed the Sheriff while also attacking the GOP presidential candidates.
Can't this man do a story without taking a shot at folks trying to unseat the president he adores?

The only thing that has been proven beyond a shadow of doubt is the rank stupidity of Martin the Basher. Hey, stupid, take your snot-nosed Turkish/British attitude and get the hell out of here..................you're clueless as to what REALLY goes on in our country, which is NOT your country.

The problem is, Sheriff Joe Arpaio is a civil rights disaster waiting to happen. I hate seeing GOP candidates suck up to him.

Perhaps he should just follow the lead of the dems and the republican "leadership," and simply ignore both.

Maybe you could inform us of what, exactly, kind of 'civil rights disaster' the Sherrif is??? Would it be because he upholds the law and executes it as it is written?? Wow....................that would be a first, huh???
Hey Killa!

The only "civil rights disaster" liberals see in the USSA is that we still HAVE civil rights. It really pisses them off. All we should have in their opinion are government granted rights.
Won't be long before that will be a phrase with absolutely no meaning at the rate the RBFSOB is squashing them.

Do you remember those bumper stickers that were around when GWB was President - 'I didn't need my civil rights anyway', or some such crap??? I remember asking somebody who was parked near me about their bumpersticker, but I don't remember getting much of a coherent response. Now compare those 'terrible' civil rights infractions of Bush up against what Boy Barry has been doing for 3 1/2 years.............................end of story.

Because she controls the t.v. remote, so I assume she controls the PC.

Meanwhile, while my husband watches the big flatscreen upstairs, I'm downstairs watching t.v. in the basement. Because the MAN of the house controls the t.v. remote.

That is true; cuz I control the tv remote in the Man Cave where I reside.
The other five televisions in the house, though, are the sole property and under the explicit control of, my significant other. :o)

But how big is YOUR tv? My dh is watching the brand new big a$$ HD t.v. with netflix in our family room with new Lazy Boy couches with electric recliners (made in U.S.A. which is why we chose LB), while I'm down in the basement with a space heater and a maybe 20 inch t.v.
But it's o.k. because he's the man and my protector, so he earned.
MO is def the man in the White House. Guess it's why Air Force 1 and the golf course are so popular.

my tv is a little ol' table model and the wife has a big new HD tv in the family room and one in the living room; plus a tv in her bathroom, bedroom, and one upstairs on the off chance she might be up there for one reason or another.
Funny thing is, I, too, am relegated to a space heater.
Lucky for me, the wife lets me pretend I am in charge around here. :o)

Well, boys and girls, I have to tell you that my TV went on the blink a couple days after the Super Bowl, and I haven't had it on since - and I'm really not missing it very much either. Of course, there's no sports to watch - well, I do watch the surfing and soccer channels sometimes, as well as some music, and informative stuff like the Military Channel or the History Channel. I don't watch much else. And I can keep up with the news online, so I don't need the TV for that.
But the main reason is that I think my old TV will cost too much to repair, so I might as well go buy a new-fangled flat screen, but I haven't had the extra money to go into town to Costco and get one - I can probably get a pretty decent one for $400 or so. But I'm just now getting my first project in over 2 years going, so my cash flow should become more dependable, and maybe I'll pick up a new TV - hell, I"m still paying my cable bill, even though I haven't watched anything for weeks!!
My point is, I guess - you can live without TV.
But, Killa, ...

Rebuke and nuke that kook Fluke...........she makes me puke!! And I see that Boy Barry called her up to support her personally, as well as her views on 'public policy'............and he JUST HAPPENED to catch her while she was in the green room of some StateRun Media show. What a coincidence!!! Oh, and her parents ARE proud of her too!!! I guess when Boy Barry's two daughters get to be college age, we can expect them to be making public appearances extolling the virtues of 'free' birth control, so that they can just Fluke their lives away!!!
Let's just hope that they don't grow cabooses like Moooooooooooochelle - or they may have a hard time living up to their agenda.

You live in paradise, nothing on tv could be as beautiful as your island or the ocean that surrounds it. I live in Pennslvania, which has its moments...but right now the trees are bare, the grass is brown, the sky is grey, and the air is cold and damp. I need tv, at least for a few more weeks. One of my favorite shows is Hawaii 5-0, for the island, Alex O'Laughten, and Scott Caan. But don't tell the hubby.

stream lilyhammer from netflix or star trek, and you tube old meatloaf concerts and stuff like that. tv just does the programming but doing it for yourself saves time and brain condoms. Watch or read news online and for sports tune in to AM for next weeks 'rush vs pelosi slut' mud wrestle. It's gonna be awesome.

Go to any town USA and ask, " do you agree with Martin Bashir ?" 9 out of 10 responses will be - "who the f*ck is Martin Bashir?" Do it. You will find out the scope of his relevance.
Yea, but what about the facts?

I mean if his investigation is true, the Bark O'Blame-a is a traitor. I still haven't seen any computer hack suggest the Sheriff's investigation was wrong.............
Oh by the way, if Arpaio is right, the the "media" is damned!!!
