I don't do the golf thing...

Submitted by Rukus on Sun, 02/12/2012 - 8:08am.

Worked at a golf course one time, tried to learn the game, it made me evil, so I quit. Can't watch it unless you are somewhat fair at it I guess. College round ball I can stomach, thug ("Pro"), not so much. Can't watch bowling either. Women's curling? yeah, I can dig that! Oink!

In order I like: 1) College football. ROLL TIDE!   2) Pro Football  3) College baseball.  4) USA summer Olympics  5) Taliban target practice  6) The Vetinator troll smashing  7) NASCAR (use to be higher but lately...meh!)  8) Italian League Soccer (yes, I like soccer)  9) Mullet tossing (the South rulzes at this!) 10) Anything whack-a-troll (see 6).

Gary, I do enjoy the Little League World Series a lot..............these kids are quite entertaining to watch, and they play some good baseball too - and they are actually trying!!! And it's OK to be a soccer fan - I like a good high-level game if I've got the time and mindset to sit down and watch it - I get into the World Cup, and even women's World Cup.................well, this time, we got drawn into a good USA team, as well as Hope Solo, right?? hahahahahaha!!! Of course, they TANKED the playoff game!!!

Personally, I would shine Solo's shoes.

Just what in the H is wrong with NASCAR

Submitted by ricklail on Sat, 02/11/2012 - 1:05pm.

At last season's ending race at Homestead NASCAR invited Thunder Thighs and Jill Biteme as grand marshall's. Old Thunder Thighs was booed.

It has been announced that Jane Lynch, a mean lesbian, and Kate Upton, never heard of her as going to be the grand marshall's for the Daytona 500 on the 26th. What is wrong with the powers that be? People like Thunder Thighs nor the mean lesbian have anything remotely in common with the good ole boys that follow NASCAR. To top it off there will be a Lenny Kravitz concert before the race. They wonder why attendance is down. They blame it on the economy. It's Bush's fault. Can't they see the sport is being marketed to the wrong crowd. It's the boys that drink Blue Ribbon beer and fly the stars and bars, and have a little Jawja moonshine that made the sport. Add to this the biggest marketing tool is going to be Danica Patrick. She is assured a spot in the 500 driving the car that should have been Dave Blaney's based on the points last year. I challenge anyone to watch the race and see how they are building her up when she is running down in 30th placed several laps down.

I went to my first race at 6. I have followed it ever since. If they continue this, I am going to have to make an appointment with Dr. Sam to see how to get over this addiction.

Just saw yesterday that Gary Sinise and the LT Dan Band will be holding a benefit concert in Martinsville, Va. the weekend of the Goody's 500. Proceeds will go to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, which will be building a house for USMC Veteran, Cpl Joshua Kerns.

Cpl Kerns was a Combat Engineer clearing mines, on his third tour to Afghanistan when he lost both legs and an arm. While NASCAR doesn't appear to be a direct part of this effort, donations at the concert will receive one ticket to the race. I'm guessing those were donated by the track officials.

Holder is a HUMP BACK liar

Submitted by ricklail on Sat, 02/11/2012 - 1:28pm.

Seems now the DEA, FBI and ICE were more aware of Operation Fast and Furious than Holder. This guy must really think we are stupid. How can the brass in the DEA know about it and Holder doesn't when it was an ATF operation? ICE stopped some of the guns destined for Mexico and were told to let them go. If the MSM would do their joband report on this Holder would be through and Obama would be looking for work next January in the Emanuel administration. They should get along fine because both hate the 2nd Amendment.

Can't find the audio yet but Wayne Lapierre, Exect VP of the NRA gave one hell of a speech at CPAC yesterday. Here is just a bit of the highlights. If you can find the audio, listen to it. (Can't get my browse to jump to rich text so I have to post the link.) http://www.washingtontimes.com/blog/inside-politics/2012/feb/10/nra-offi...

i guess that Bonehead has stuck his nose into Rep Issa's work on Fast and Furious. The committee is not going to issue a contempt citation to Holder.

What's wrong with this picture??

Submitted by jon_torlin on Sat, 02/11/2012 - 1:26pm.

You know, I'm extremely dismayed and disheartened that they aren't talking about the totally unConstitutional authority that this bogus potus has done with this birth control mandate.  Even in the news I saw this morning there's no mention of it, just that he "compromised" on something he had no legal authority doing in the first place.

Out of all the things he's done, this is by far the biggest unConstitutional thing he's done yet, which is he dictated, like a dictator, a mandate which he's expecting to be followed.  Congress should have been drawing up impeachment papers on this by now.  I know Bonehead got on Soetoro about this before this "walking back" but he still needs to get on this, but there's no mention of this.

It's not about birth control.  He's exercising power that isn't given to him by the Constitution, and what's next for him to make a decision on?  If no one stops him from this, what's to stop him from declaring that there would be no elections in November?

This country is now in extremely critical danger and people just don't see that.

Fox did report this morning

Submitted by ricklail on Sat, 02/11/2012 - 1:35pm.

Fox did report this morning that the Catholic bishops were not happy with his ruling. How is he getting by ordering insurance companies to cover birth control with no co-pay? The insurance compamies need to take him to court. Beside we all remember that Nazi Pelosi said we have to pass it to find out what was in it. The rules are being written and we are finding out more each day what is in it.

I really believe that something is going to happen in the middle east and the liar in chief will try to hold off on the elections. Why not? He probably uses copies of the contitution to light his smokes.

Bonehead do something? Jon you know as well as I do if Bonehead won't go after the recess appointments he is not about to do anything to stop him on this.

I pretty much have given up on Bonehead on doing anything for a long while now, and I also just saw a bit by his spokesman(person, who cares) saying they are trying to find a "legislative solution."

Legislative solution??  WTF does that even mean?  To me, that says "oh let's try to compromise yet again" nevermind that the dictator broke the law publicly.

I want to move out of this country if the people can't even fight for itself and defend itself against this tyrant.

Too bad I can't afford it.  By the time I will, it'll be too late anyway.

Submitted by killa37 on Sat, 02/11/2012 - 7:57pm.

As far as I can tell, Samuel Jackson is an American 'negro' who probably has a fairly long bloodline in the American 'black' experience and history...........and as far as we know, Boy Barry is NOT an American 'negro' and has virtually NO ties to the American 'black' experience, and aside from not being able to talk like an American 'negro', he's shown beyond any doubt that he could care more, or less, about American 'blacks' than he does anybody else that is, or isn't, useful to him.

So if that's their reason for voting for Boy Barry (and it IS!!!), then they deserve what they got...............unfortunatly, the rest of us are suffering from their stupidity and ignorance.

And I can sure as hell tell you that I didn't vote for the McCain Mutiny because he's 'white'...........in fact, the ONLY reason I voted for him was to try and keep this commie/dictator from winning the election...........and it appears that I'll be put in the same situation in 2012.

I think you Marines will get a kick out of these two stories

Submitted by ricklail on Sat, 02/11/2012 - 9:16pm.

The train was quite crowded, and the U. S. Marine walked the entire length looking for a seat, but the only seat left was taken by a well-dressed middle- aged French woman's poodle. The war-weary Marine asked, "Ma'am, may I have that seat?" The French woman just sniffed and said to no one in particular, "Americans are so rude. My little Fifi is using that seat." The Marine walked the entire train again, but the only seat left was under that dog. "Please, ma'am. May I sit down? I'm very tired." She snorted, "Not only are you Americans rude, you are also arrogant." This time the Marine didn't say a word, he just picked up the little dog, tossed it out the train window, and sat down. The woman shrieked, "Someone must defend my honor. Put this American in his place." An English gentleman sitting nearby spoke up, "Sir, you Americans often seem to have a penchant for doing the wrong thing. You hold the fork in the wrong hand. You drive your autos on the wrong side of the road. And now, sir, you've thrown the wrong bitch out the window."
***************************************************************

A Marine's Love Letter

A Marine stationed in Afghanistan recently received a "Dear John"
Letter from his girlfriend back home. It read as follows:

Dear Ricky, I can no longer continue our relationship. The distance
between us is just too great. I must admit that I have cheated on
you twice since you've been gone, and it's not fair to either of us.
I'm sorry. Please return the picture of me that I sent to you.

Love,
Becky

The Marine, with hurt feelings, asked his fellow Marines for any
snapshots they could spare of their girlfriends, sisters,
ex-girlfriends, aunts, cousins etc. In addition to the picture of
Becky,

Ricky included all the other pictures of the pretty gals he had
collected from his buddies.

There were 57 photos in that envelope along with this note:

Dear Becky, I'm so sorry, but I can't quite remember who the
Hell you are. Please take your picture from the pile, and send the rest
back to me.

Ms. Rad, I'm gonna go out on

Submitted by killa37 on Sat, 02/11/2012 - 11:25pm.

Ms. Rad, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that Michael Jackson had a lot more inherent problems than Ms. Houston did, and starting at a young age. Plus, these types of people are insulated from the 'real' world that you and I live in - and that often includes knowing what is 'right' and what is 'wrong' - if I may be so opinionated. And believe me, I'm not a naive little goody-two-shoes in my observations - but I've never had the luxury of NOT having to fend for myself and make my own way through this life, so my choices - good, bad, or inbetween - are my own to be accountable for.

I've always wondered how Michaal Jackson went from being a cute, talented 'black' kid to an ugly, has-been white woman.

Iwas driving to work one

Submitted by ricklail on Sun, 02/12/2012 - 8:29am.

Iwas driving to work one morning when we were building McGuire Nuclear Station. The radio was tuned to WAYS 610 in Charlotte, Murphy come and said he had new singer doing a duet with Teddy Pendergast. It was Whitney Houston. I will never forget because i thought she was headed to do great things. Well she did but she also got caught up in the dope. My son got help when he got into because he wanted help. I don;t think she ever got the help shen needed My son spent 2 years at TROSA. She would spend a couple of weeks in rehab. She needed the after care like my son got. Being in the Hollywod crowd she couldn't get it. Shame but it was still her fault, nobody forced the stuff up her nose or into her viens.

A well regulated militia being necessary to a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

And, I still just about fall off my chair when he shoots her laptop.  Great video, too bad not enough parents pay enough attention.

We had a man come in to the PD one night to pick up his son, who'd been arrested for MIP and disorderly drunk.  We released the kid to him and they started for the door, when we heard a lot of yelling and screaming, then the door flew open, and he shoved the kid back in, said words to the effect of "throw his miserable a$$ in with the other drunks", I'm done with him", and walked out, leaving junior laying on the floor with a totally confused look on his face.  Then we got the story, seems dad didn't really care for junior telling him he was a dumb a$$ and he wanted to know why the flock it took him so long to pick him up from the "pigs".  Dad came back, apologized to us for the verbal BS that his progeny had unleashed on us for the hour it took him to show up, and left, head held high.

To re-elect Obama would be like the Titanic backing up and hitting the iceberg again.
