Madonna Slams Ricky Gervais: 'I Haven't Kissed a Girl in a Few Years'

While introducing Madonna at Sunday’s Golden Globes, controversial host Ricky Gervais mocked her as being “just like a virgin.”

Madonna quickly struck back saying, “If I’m still just like a virgin, Ricky, then why don’t you come over here and do something about it? I haven’t kissed a girl in a few years – on TV” (video follows):

That was great. Gervais is awesome as well. Love it when people don't take themselves so seriously.

And this over-the-hill

Submitted by killa37 on Mon, 01/16/2012 - 12:41am.

And this over-the-hill lightweight is going to be the 'entertainment' for this year's Super Bowl??? Why don't these people get somebody that's actually good?? I mean.......last year was the Black-Eyed Garbanzo Beans, or whoever they were - and they sucked bigtime!! And before that was the WHO??? Listen..........I'm a rocker through and through, but I know when somebody is past their prime - and the WHO certainly is!!!

Don't ask me who I think the Super Bowl should hire...........I'm not that up-to-date on what is going on these days, musically. I'm sure that there are some hot country bands - who might actually bring a pro-USA message to the gig - or some other younger rock or R&B bands that would be happy to go out there and play their rear-ends off.

I'm sure that Madonna will be prancin' and dancin'................but, hell, she's a lightweight - her 'stuff' will NOT go down in the anals of music history.

Likes the SF Giants, Hates Black Eyed Peas

Submitted by John Francroix Jr on Mon, 01/16/2012 - 10:30am.

I agree, watching the Who perform was embarrassing. We normally watch Animal Planet's Puppy Bowl during the half time show. I would like to add that Prince ripped it up with the rain pouring down on him, but you're way off base with BEPs. Just put Fergie up on stage - she doesn't even need a mic - just let her stand there and look sexy.

Submitted by killa37 on Mon, 01/16/2012 - 2:12pm.

I've had girlfriends who were better looking AND sexier than Fergie..........and I didn't have to listen to any crappy music from them either. And I'd still like to know why the SF Giants are 'homosexual baseball'.

Prince is a killer live act - I hope he's given his due to James Brown. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers played a very good set. Like I said - I'm sure Madonna's set will be very orchestrated and produced - but, for myself, I'm more interested in the music than all of the extra fluff - which seems to be the norm these days. I'd be happy to see four guys, three amps, one drum kit, and some well-played music than a whole production designed to entertain your eyes instead of your ears.

3 Amps?

Submitted by John Francroix Jr on Mon, 01/16/2012 - 2:55pm.

I want to see a wall of amps, Marshalls and Mesa/Boogies stacked 4 high - big stadium needs big power. Petty and the Heartbreakers were good and I seem to remember Springsteen put on a good show. It's pretty safe to say I won't be watching Madonna's show this year.

OK - 3 SETS of amps - however

OK - 3 SETS of amps - however many there need to be. Now why are the San Francisco Giants 'homosexual baseball'??

Dude

Submitted by John Francroix Jr on Mon, 01/16/2012 - 4:04pm.

Either you're playing dumb or you're just not getting a really stupid joke. A joke about the Giants moving to the big, gay city resulting in an all-gay team is all I was getting at.

I'm glad we reached agreement on the amps.

Submitted by killa37 on Mon, 01/16/2012 - 4:34pm.

I don't answer to 'dude', or 'bro', or 'guy', or 'brother'.....................and I'm pretty sure that a lot of Giant fans wouldn't have got your 'joke' about the team playing 'homosexual baseball' - and the players probably wouldn't be laughing about it either. And there's probably more gays in NYC than in SF anyway.

McCartney, Stones, U2, Springsteen

Submitted by Blonde on Mon, 01/16/2012 - 3:01pm.

The "super bands".

The sponsors need to keep their audience in mind, mostly middle aged, affluent, i.e. those who grew up on classic rock.

Personally, I like some of the alternative bands. I wouldn't cross the street for a free front page seat to see Madge. Ugh.

Killa, you ought to arrange a "video" concert, and live stream it with your guys, on the beach. I'd watch it! We could get it to go viral.

Submitted by killa37 on Mon, 01/16/2012 - 3:08pm.

Actually, even though their founders are elitist libs, the Eagles are very good live - and they have a lot of hits, which they play very well. I can live without U2. My friend, who is Petty's road manager, says that McCartney puts on a good show - has hot young guys in his band, and can still 'hit' all of his notes - which is a plus. I saw Huey Lewis struggling with some notes the other day before the Niner game - but I saw Huey and the News in Honolulu during their heyday, and they kicked ass pretty good.

We're playing this Saturday down at the beach for the KORE project - we'll see who shows up to jam. Last time was great, with a couple of our professional friends in town, and they came down to the beach to play..................the organizers had to take our beach tent away just to get us to stop!!! We were messing around with coming up with a name for our revolving 'band' of guys who show up to play....................I suggested 'Hard KORE', but for some reason, it was deemed 'unsuitable'!!! I think we're called the KORE Krew.

How about KORE Values?

If you knew anything about us, you might want to suggest 'Rotten to the KORE"!!! Hahahaha!! But, it's all about what is happening around us, so I'm sure that we can be forgiven.

I'll run KORE Values by 'da boyz', and see what they think. If we were libs (and I can't speak for any of the other guys), we could be call 'No KORE".
