Trump Says Birther Issue Good for Rick Perry
Not only isn't Donald Trump giving up on President Obama's place of birth, he also thinks this issue is a good one for Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry.
So said the real estate tycoon in an interview with Piers Morgan to be aired on CNN Thursday evening (video follows with transcript):
PIERS MORGAN, HOST: Do you accept that what he produced is valid?
DONALD TRUMP: No, I don’t necessarily accept that.
MORGAN: But you believe he probably was born in America?
TRUMP: I say he might have been.
MORGAN: But what does your gut tell you, because you are a smart guy?
TRUMP: My gut tells me a couple of things. Number one, you know, it took a long time for him to produce this certificate, and when it came out, as you know, you check out the internet, many people say it is not real, okay? That it’s a forgery.
MORGAN: That’s 90 percent of the internet nonsense, isn’t it?
TRUMP: Okay, fine, but, you know, they go over it and lots of different things for lots of different reasons. And the other thing is, nobody has been able to see, you know, when the day of his birth, they had twins born. They had another one born, right? Nobody has been able to find any records that he was born in that hospital.
MORGAN: But tell me this: do you think politically for Rick Perry…
TRUMP: I think it’s a positive for him.
MORGAN: Is it a sensible thing for him to do?
TRUMP: Well, I think it’s good for him in the Republican primary. I don’t necessarily know if it’s good in the general election.

I could be considered a birther and do see O'Bambi as anti-American anyway, so the point is kinda moot unless they have 100% proof that he's not a natural born American. So what I think about it doesn't matter.
Rick Perry might find it suspicious as well, but at the same time, he should probably leave it alone. Yes, there are still questions about it, but until he has some solid incontrovertible answers, he should just leave it well enough alone.
He should focus on DuhOne's Muslim appeasements especially in light of Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, and others who the Muslim Bro'Hood is getting involved in creating a terrifying situation in the middle east.
That and the throwing money away at useless "green energy ventures" that never produced anything and his support of the OWS.

Somehow I doubt Perry is going to be having dinner with Trump again anytime soon.
As a dedicated Democrat,

I heartily support every Republican Presidential candidate questioning Barack Obama's birthplace and status as a natural born citizen. Do it as much as you can, I say.
Too bad it was Hillary Clinton's campaign that started it.

Speaking of registered Democrats.
Besides, it's been a dead issue since the long form certificate was released. But I do love how liberals accused anyone who even asked for the birth certificate to be released of being crazy. Which means by extension, libs are calling Hillary supporters crazy as well. Something I agree with liberals on, imagine that!
Progressives seem to be completely averse to facts and logic. Apparently, reality has a conservative bias.
Hillary Clinton's "campaign"?

Not so much. Some crazy supporters of Clinton in some chain emails? Sure.
But now, it's Republican Iowa caucus goers that are the batsh*t insane ones.
"Do you think Barack Obama was born in the United States?
"Yes ... 37%
"No ... 42%
"Not sure 22%"

Also, Republican South Carolina primary voters.

"No ... 44%
"Not sure 21%"

I guess you might say, the libtard media has a few unintended consequences, eh. : ]
Insane, or merely wishful thinking?

After all, who wouldn't want a quick and easy end to Obama's awful presidency?
But if we're going to say that believing Obama was born in another country is insane (for the record, I believe Obama was born in the United States), shouldn't we also apply the same standards to people who think 9/11 was an inside job and people who think communism is better than capitalism?
I look forward to Public Policy Polling asking Democrats how many of them believe that. I mean, if they're going to ask would-be GOP voters whether or not whether or not they think Obama was born here, even if it has no bearing on this campaign whatsoever, it's only fair to ask potential Obama voters similarly unrelated questions. Unless of course, PPP included said question so the Dems' MSMinions could use it to smear conservatives and stroke the egos of arrogant liberals, but they wouldn't do that, now would they?
