Chose to go to commercial break instead of the National Anthem. Moment of silence for Mr Davis, then straight to Commercial while the NA was sung.I only know, because I listen to the Homers on the radio

As with so many NFL games this year

Submitted by Boudin on Sun, 10/09/2011 - 3:14pm.

It seems the Refs have picked a side, calling fouls where there are none, and ignoring the ones that were committed. Panthers take advantage for a TD.

BTW Shockey is taunting constantly, considering what we have seen so far this year, I am little surprised they haven't thrown a flag for that. But considering the officiating so far, maybe not.

Saints up 23-20

Saints hold on to Win

Submitted by Boudin on Sun, 10/09/2011 - 4:21pm.

This Panthers team will be a force to recon with shortly. Seems Shockey was the first one off the field. If your a Panthers fan, I am warning you, Shockey will cost you yards in penalties, when he is healthy. Thats why he isnt here anymore.

The refs really stunk this game up in the 2nd half, nonetheless,

Saints win 30-27

I said the heck the Panthers

Submitted by ricklail on Sun, 10/09/2011 - 4:27pm.

I said the heck the Panthers when they drafted sCAM. I was hoping the game would come down to a John Kasey field goal to win it. It serves the Panthers right because they got rid of Kasey. The Saints won and that is all that matters. Most NFL teams don't mind sCAM throwing the ball around the field as long as they are not winning. I figure pretty soom most NFL defensive coordinators will have him figured out. They only had 4 games worth of films to watch. They'll figure out his tendensies and he'll be slowed down and even stopoped. So with all that said GO FALCONS.

Where's Dave??? His Falcons

Submitted by killa37 on Sun, 10/09/2011 - 9:12pm.

Where's Dave??? His Falcons are taking it to my long-time favorites, the Packers - although I'm a Niner fan also - depending on how they're doing. I have to admit to getting a little sick of Fav-reh in the later years..........but I'm liking the current team. I'm also a Redskin fan, because of one of my sons - but they haven't been worth rooting for in years........maybe this year.
