Dave, I simply cannot understand the fascination with Perry, considering his stand on immigration!
When he was first being promoted, I thought it was because of his jobs-creation record in Texas. And, not knowing much about him, I thought he must be a real conservative.
I agree the economy is Job One, but I thought immigration control (not reform) was important to conservatives too.
Now that all seems to be going out the window, as apparently, they see a Republican who is "electable."
If immigration is no longer important, and they think his jobs record is the ticket, then his supporters should come out and say so, and be willing to campaign for him on that basis.
But they should knock it off with the split personality.
I am not impressed

....furthermore, for some weird reason, whenever Perry is on the tube, I get almost the same visceral reaction as I get when Obama's face/voice is on.
Methinks it is the BS meter going CLANG, CLANG, CLANG!
You should listen to BK's Crowder link (below) at a Tea Party convention...at the beginning, he asks about Romney, silence and boos. When he mentions Cain, loud cheers and applause.
NO MORE RINOs....and Perry is a RINO, I don't care how conservative he SAYS he is....he isn't.

...conservatives are over illegal immigration and the government's ceaseless flouting of the laws that are in place to control it.
I don't see conservatives flocking to the polls to vote for him.
He may be an excellent governor, but we need someone in the White House that will enforce our immigration laws, or else our culture is going to be even further diluted.

UH 20-6 over La. Tech at halftime.........one of our smurfy receivers has all three TD passes. The refs are butchering this game - they had it stopped for a LONG time in the second quarter, after giving away 5 downs and blowing a time-out call...........and then got hung up again a little while later on some mysto call.
I wouldn't give the game to UH yet..........La. Tech has some talent, and they're only down 2 scores - at home.

He is whining that he is not getting credit for anything. He is worse than Jimmuh Carter.
The difference between Republican former presidents and Democrat former presidents is very clear: the Republicans retire gracefully and do not march around the country trying to gain back relevance by whining, crying and interfering in governmental affairs of the current president. Shows you the differences in values between the two parties - Republicans have class and Democrats are crass.

Too bad Whitwell is showing her ignorance, she called Alexandra Knight's weapon a rifle when it's a shotgun, can't tell from the angle if it's a double-barrel, or just a single barrel. Anyone know? Anyway, HUGE difference between the two.(for those of you in rio linda, rifle is for bullets and rifling is what makes the bullets spin for longer range, while shotguns are meant for short range shooting, some people call it "close range blasting")
I wish when people talk about guns, they have some knowledge of what they speak/write about,

I have known Mr. Anthony Caprara for quiet awhile now. He used to teach, help coach football and coached the golf teams at West Craven. I knew he had a Georgia tag on the front of his car. I didn't know that he played football at Georgia. It was mentioned on his bio when he was inducted into the West Craven HS Hall of Fame. He lettered in 51 & 52. I looked it up and found out that he played on the same team with Zeke Bratkowski and Marion Campell. He is now teaching GED at the prison through the community college. He wasn't there Friday so I could talk with him but I'll find out what position he played. He is short and stocky so I assume center or guard. Any way here is a list of lettermen a that time. Look and see it your reconize any other names. I would have been pooping yellow when he played and you weren't even born. Most the guys on that team are either knocking on 80 or are over 80.

We are so screwed.
The article is GREAT, the President soo mind numbing stupid.
How North Dakota Became Saudi Arabia
Harold Hamm, the Oklahoma-based founder and CEO of Continental Resources, the 14th-largest oil company in America, is a man who thinks big. He came to Washington last month to spread a needed message of economic optimism: With the right set of national energy policies, the United States could be "completely energy independent by the end of the decade. We can be the Saudi Arabia of oil and natural gas in the 21st century."
He has this exchange with O'bama
When it was Mr. Hamm's turn to talk briefly with President Obama, "I told him of the revolution in the oil and gas industry and how we have the capacity to produce enough oil to enable America to replace OPEC. I wanted to make sure he knew about this."
The president's reaction? "He turned to me and said, 'Oil and gas will be important for the next few years. But we need to go on to green and alternative energy. [Energy] Secretary [Steven] Chu has assured me that within five years, we can have a battery developed that will make a car with the equivalent of 130 miles per gallon.'" Mr. Hamm holds his head in his hands and says, "Even if you believed that, why would you want to stop oil and gas development? It was pretty disappointing."

"we can have a battery developed that will make a car with the equivalent of 130 miles per gallon". said car, based on the cost of the Chevy Volt, will be in the price range of about $110K, if not higher. This goes hand in hand with the 0's disdain and hatred of coal-generated electricity, gasoline, and the ability of Americans to be independent citizens.
If one were to subscribe to the theories that our dear leader owes more allegiance to the mostly Islamic masters of OPEC, this would fit perfectly. But, we're assured that he only has our best interests in mind, right?
Let's see, "electrical rates will necessarily skyrocket", we'll just have a battery that'll "make a car with the equivalent of 130 mpg" and screw those "soft Americans".

I've got to believe that Chu's and Obama's wet dream of a battery-powered car will be similar. A car the size of an enclosed roller skate. I live in the woods, the county I live in is 2nd in the state of Michigan in car-deer accidents. I've hit two of those 4-legged things in the last 5 years. The Silverado kept on driving. Any occupants of this "car" that the Administration is pinning their hopes on, would have been involved in a fatal traffic accident, if they hit either of those deer. We also hit one with the wife's Pontiac. It did $3,700 damage to her car. Imagine what a deer will do to this battery powered thing.

Libs love to latch onto their own little obnoxious dud factoids.
How much oil does Bakken have? The official estimate of the U.S. Geological Survey a few years ago was between four and five billion barrels. Mr. Hamm disagrees: "No way. We estimate that the entire field, fully developed, in Bakken is 24 billion barrels."

Using kids to push an agenda. And it was obvious a lot of the comments were scripted too. I don't put anything past these libturds any more.

WE ARE THE 1 PERCENT
We just went live and are accepting new submissions from all our poor, hungry, victimized conservies :)
It's a great goof on "We Are The 99 Percent" (commie nonsense brought to us by smelly, lazy, welfare-laden hippie libtard commies.)
Just write your thoughts on paper (make sure it's dripping with heart-wrenching tales of what entitlement libs are doing to us, our cities, our culture, our society), take a pic of you and it, and then PM me here and I'll give you my email where you can send it.
