The suddenly all over the newstands Jennifer Aniston -- not that there's anything wrong with that! -- was Harry Smith's guest on Friday's "Early Show," and the CBS host seemed to have a hard time hiding the little crush he has on the former "Friends" star.
In fact, the 57-year-old Smith seemed to be hitting on the 39-year-old Aniston.
Not that there's anything wrong with that (video embedded below the fold):
I don't know about you, but I really can't blame him.
You go, boy!
Exit question: How do you think Harry's wife, CBS sportscaster Andrea Joyce, enjoyed this interview?

December 20, 2008 - 15:11 ET byI don't think he was necessarily "hitting" on her. I think that he going out of his way not to tell her what a WHORE she is now. I think like most liberal nothings he has very little morality and the little that he has left, tells him not to judge. So in a cover that is ACCORDING TO LIBERALS "Controversial", no controversy gets discussed. So he turns into a fawning obsequious idiot so that he won't appear to be "judging". Instead of asking her why someone who was at one point making over A MILLION DOLLARS A WEEK, now has to WHORE herself out for teenage masturbation pics, he turns into her number one fan! I mean, it wasn't so long ago that an actress NOT taking off her clothes in a movie was a sign of class and a tremendous badge of honor. There used to be "serious" actresses that bragged about how they wouldn't take off their clothes for any money. Then there were the slightly less serious who intoned piously that they would only strip down, "If the scene demanded it", as is a scene ever "demands" anything that the writer didn't desire. It used to be that if an actress had to appear nude in something she'd long for the day when she paid enough dues not to have to do that ANYMORE. Vanessa Williams, ring a bell? Now the quasi-morality that this country has found itself immersed in has slid to the point where there's no difference between MILLIONAIRES and the average BUTT NAKED WHORE.
So in the end libs get to do what they like to do, be controversial without discussing the "controversy". So they can continue this country's long slide into VOMIT.

December 20, 2008 - 16:46 ET byWow. Hey. I checked out the link you sent and well, wow. That was one angry dude! Allow me to apologize if anything I've said , reminded you of him! However, I must say that he was right. In essence if not in tone. And just so I cover everyone, time is short, CHristmas, you know, I'll group a couple of comments together, okay? Now, I see, it's my name that reminds you of that guy 'cause he was talking about who is or is "not" saved and baptism in Jesus name, etc., which my name definitely hearkens to so I can see the confusion. His awful tone aside, which can certainly be offputting, have you considered the efficacy of his biblical arguments? Consider this...Ezekiel 3:18
When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn thewicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
Umm sorry if those words came across in "bold" those were the search terms and this program automatically "bolds" them, I was not disparaging you! Someone on this post said that "Keith" was not showing "love" and that this by definition was not "Christian".Seems to me that, his crappy attitude aside, every single thing he said about the bible was one hundred percent correct. Didn't like what he said about my boy Bill O though! Be that as it may. The facts are these, Jesus warned you against "false Prophets", he continued these warnings through Peter, Paul, John, etc. He told you on multiple accounts in multiple places that the devil wanted to change the doctrine of Christ. Well, what is that doctrine? It isn't "everybody feel good about yourselves!" It was about being "born again"! Jesus said that this was so important that it was a "deal breaker". Now currently, most folk who claim Christ are going to churches that say that you are "born again" merely by believing in Christ, or by making a public utterance renouncing sin (sinners prayer), etc. All of which are good to do, by the way, just not "salvational". But if you look at the dialogue where the whole "born again" controversy comes from you'll see that "keith" the brutal, was actually right. SRY. I hate it when people do that with the faith, I just don't think you get many people to listen to you that way.
Candance, most churches say that if you "confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you shall be saved". They base this on Rom 10:9 which they take woefully out of context, see Rom 10:1 and discover that Gentiles aren't even being discussed! Well, every thing that some t.v preacher, or Creflo Dollar or, Hagee or whoever, says, has to line up with Christ, not the other way around. Bishop so and so may say that you are saved by your "confession of faith" but why did JESUS say the exact opposite? If you read the account (John 3:1-8), didn't Nicodemus "confess with his mouth" that he knew Jesus was a "teacher come from God" didn't Nicodemus risk his life to "come to Christ". Certainly as a "ruler" of the Jews who were trying to capture Christ, he couldn't have made his journey to Christ in the "day time". So what did Jesus tell this man who had just "believed in his heart and confessed with his mouth"? He told him that he must be "born again" which would imply that even though he confessed and believe, there was more work to be done. That work of course was finished in the 2 Chap of Acts where the apostles received Christ's Spirit and told you what it's significance is, (acts 2:1-38) Culminating in the correct and ONLY baptism used in the bible. Why does this matter? Well, it wouldn't if the bible was okay with multiple "baptisms" but unfortunately it isn't, as is made abundantly clear in Ephesians 4:5! Now, you can make the case that the Apostles didn't know what they were doing but it seems to me, a weak argument to make. I mean when you end up baptising and pronouncing people saved in different manner than those chosen by Christ and Christ himself warned you that some would seek to change his teachings, well, the math isn't that hard. We are living in the lukewarm age! We, not the Word, are at fault.
Again, allow me to apologize sincerely for my over zealous brother in the faith. While he was strident and abrasive, so was John the Baptist, who you'll recall came yelling at the top of his lungs, "REPENT THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS AT HAND". They didn't like being told to "repent" and they certainly didn't like being screamed at. LOl. But he was right nevertheless. If your relatives which you spoke about were as harsh as "keith" it's no wonder you don't look forward to holiday dinner! Lol. But they are right about what it takes to be saved. Enter in at the "narrow" gate. God bless and Merry Christmas!

If you don't mind me taking a contrary position, these aren't naked pictures. There's nothing exposed in these shots that would prevent them from being aired on network television during the daytime. These are very tasteful, nonsexual photographs of a very beautiful, mature woman that has never done a nude scene in a movie to the best of my knowledge.
I think Aniston is a very classy, breath of fresh air in an industry desperately needing such. I frankly don't understand what you find so offensive about her or these pictures. ns
Dear Mr Sheppard, As a
December 20, 2008 - 16:13 ET byDear Mr Sheppard,
As a former "whore-monger extraordinaire" the things that I used to NOT find "offensive" would shock you. Having been saved biblically by Jesus Christ my perspective has shifted. I know that there are many who would see my claim of salvation as "offputting" such is not my intent. However, as President Bush's recent trashing of the bible should show, all who say they are Christian are not necessarily so. And fake Christians like Bush who slander the WORD OF GOD are not going to make it. And to all the P.C pantywaists who will view that last statement as "not having love" or some other junk the devil taught you, I offer this......
Psalm 40:6-8 (King James Version)
6Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.
7Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
8I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
See, you can't believe in Jesus and NOT believe that the bible is the LITERAL word of God. HE SAID IT I DIDN'T. So don't blame me! This fact was RE-ITERATED in the N.T. by Paul
Hebrews 10:6-8 (King James Version)
6In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
8Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
See, Jesus SPECIFICALLY said that UNLESS you believe that HE is who the BOOK says he is, well....not so good for you.
John 8:24
24I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
Now, since you have to "believe" that He is "HE", how would you come to this belief if not for the Bible which this alleged "Christian" just told the world, is nOT TRUE? But for pointing this out, I'll probably be called "unloving" or something stupid.
Contrary to the above post who labeled someone as not being Christian because they didn't "show love", which usually means "look the other way", there is PROOF as to whether one is in the faith or not. I would refer you to Rom 8:9. Most Churches of today have slid so far down the "doctrinal pit to hell" that they couldn't even make the determination of their congregation required in this scripture. So it's not surprising that a major star taking their clothes off doesn't raise an eyebrow! Especially since most of your churches currently believe that you receive Christ's Spirit in a different manner than the Apostles and Jesus did! We've changed! And not for the better, IMO.
Suffice to say Mr Sheppard, that because of my position (not so lofty as all that) in life, I have been able to use and abuse women for most of my adult life. I was not using MY standards in describing her actions as "whorish" I was using our Lords. See that's what words like lasciviousness, mean.
Mark 7:21-23 (King James Version)
21For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
22Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
23All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
If I were to use MY standards of what should or should not be "okay" Mr S, well, let's just not go there, shall we? LOL. While you may find the pictures tasteful, I daresay that you would not, were she your daughter. I know I wouldn't. I wouldn't say to my child, "Hey that's a tasteful way you almost revealed your breasts, there honey".

December 20, 2008 - 16:36 ET by Noel SheppardActs,
Well, I have a daughter, and this kind of a photo would be unacceptable at her tender age of 15. However, if she becomes a successful and beautiful actress exclusively playing wholesome roles in her career, I don't think I would have a problem with her posing for these tasteful pictures at the age of 39. After all, at that point, I'd be 72, and she'd be a successful, beautiful, mature woman capable of making such decisions on her own.
I guess as an Aniston fan I see these pictures differently. From my perspective, this is a gorgeous, 39-year-old woman celebrating the fact that she still looks better than women half her age, and doing it in a classy way that doesn't diminish her wholesome image.
You know, I'm 48 years old, and workout four days a week to keep my boyish figure. We're all trying to defy age and gravity to the best of our ability. What's the matter with letting the world see the fruits of our exercise routines if it can be done without sacrificing modesty? ns

December 20, 2008 - 17:07 ET byAnd may I say in a purely heterosexual way mind you , that you look great! So keep up the good work! On this my friend we'll have to agree to disagree. I apologize if you think I'm being judgmental of fuddy duddy, or something. But you really don't know me. As a man's heart is "desperately wicked", that which I personally would be okay with were I the ruler of this world, would be a sad sight to see. So I can't "lean to my own understanding" in order to decide matters of public morals, because along the way I'm going to end up defending something that Jesus is dead set against. So , while I struggle with sin like all who have yet the flesh, I know and you know what the bibles position on young women exposing themselves lasciviously, would be. Under any circumstance. I know many Gay people. I have had some of them in my employ for years until just recently and I employed some of them to handle some of my business affairs. If it were the understanding of my flesh that I would use, I would have compassion on their plight to be included. I know them as people, I know their hopes, dreams and aspirations. But the Word of God says that they are an abomination. The Word says that my flesh is given over to abomination which is why I'd watch two lesbians doing their thing at the drop of a hat! Lol. The Word also says that if I approve of their actions even if I do not practice what they practice, I will suffer the same fate as they do and that their fate is death, eternal separation from God. Romans 1:22-32. So in the end I can't agree, even though my flesh does, even though I struggle with porn and Playboy and Jennifer Aniston and like every other Joe. God bless.

None of the things you wrote
December 20, 2008 - 18:40 ET byNone of the things you wrote are in conflict with what I wrote since they have the same author Paul. Paul regarded it as an act of love to convince people that they were headed to hell and needed salvation. He would not have considered it "charity" to change what was necessary FOR that salvation, he would have considered it "false doctrine", which he wrote about extensively. That is why you misquote him in an effort to take away the sting of plainly written scripture. I've been there. Yes, we should "Feed the Poor" what does that have to do with telling you that unless you're "born again" you're going to go to hell? Jesus is the one who said that? John 3:1-8 Mark 16:15-20, Rev 21:8, I didn't. IF you feed the poor is it your position that you should not tell them how to avoid hell? Or is it your position that there is no hell and we should all just have a sandwich? What did you think that Jesus meant by saying "Lo, I come in the VOLUME, of the book?" It means that you don't just find His precepts in the things you like. You also find that as loving as He is, He is the one who first warned us of Hell! Jesus said this...not me!
MARK 16
16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
Now, seems to me that it would be an act of "love" "charity" and "oh, thank my freaking lucky stars", to tell some poor guy that he had it wrong but that it wasn't too late to get it right! Seems to me that if some poor sod, loved Christ but his "love" was insufficient to wash away all of his sins although it "covereth a multitude" he might like to know that! If some poor Christian thought he was on the way to heaven because he believed and confessed like Nicodemus and yet, Jesus told Nicodemus that that was not enough, seems to me that the poor sod might be better off in the end by being told the truth. If he really loved Jesus that is. Hmmm. Sounds a lot like "love" to me.
May god bless you

December 20, 2008 - 18:25 ET byI think the Mona Lisa has her clothes on! Please forgive me for this lengthy post lol. Look, I read the links that Candace was so kind as to forward, okay? I get it. My position, has been sooooo misrepresented on this blog that I feel a different approach is in order, okay?
My friend I am not "condemning" anything. I don't have that power.
I am discussing whether it is "good or bad or right or wrong". That is not condemning. Did you know that the penalties mentioned in the bible, for all of those sins listed in the O.T. ,were actually carried out? When they found people guilty of adultery, bestiality, or homosexuality, they KILLED them! They didn't get parole, the ACLU didn't stage a pogrom, they got rocks and lot's of 'em. That's what "condemning" is according to scripture, it is not the "observance" of behavior as being right or wrong. That's the job of every person to determine what's right or wrong and the bible is supposed to be a Christians guide! Words change their meaning over time, your "profession" biblically had little to do with your job, it was your declaration of faith. And for that matter your work only became your JOB because of the trials of a man named JOB. Another word whose meaning has changed. That is the mistake a lot of us make when we misquote "Judge not, lest ye be judged" or say, "you're not talking in love" , to someone who simply tells us what God said. What they really mean is "don't say nothing about my behavior", so let me murder babies and teach sodomy to your eleven year old because as a supposed "Christian", you can't judge! This looks like a good place to say "poppycock"! And, that certainly is the modern understanding of that portion of God's word but it is as wrong as the day is long. Think about it. Most of the bible is warning us against some behavior, thought pattern, or other, right? Thou Shalt Not....etc. Most of the bible, the O.T., contains actual penalties for various sins meted out in real time! When they found transgressors and the Word said "stone " them, for this or that, rocks are what they got. Now, naturally we aren't in the O.T anymore because Christ DID die on the cross, so while WE don't mete out the penalty for sin, it is nonetheless still sin and it still will be penalized!
If the popular understanding is correct then the entire bible is useless since it warns us against BAD BEHAVIOR and BAD PEOPLE! Why "beware of false prophets" if it doesn't matter who you listen to? Why does the word say that you're not supposed to even eat with someone who is in your congregation and won't stop fornicating, much less invite them in to preach?
1Corinthians 5:11
11But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
Why did Paul demand that unrepentant FORNICATORS be thrown out of the church and delivered to SATAN..1 Corinthians 5
1It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.
2And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
3For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
4In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
If we're supposed to "love the sinner but hate the sin", don't you think someone should have told Paul? When the time of real judgement and "condemnation" comes, do you think Jesus is going to use, "Joel Osteens," measure to judge people by? Or should we think that Jesus is going with the measure he gave to His apostles? If our churches say all you have to do is "CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD" and you'll be saved, yet the word says....
Matt 7:21 21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Which standard do we think Christ is going to use? His or Ours? This is His. Ours is, in some cases quite different.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (New International Version)
9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
Do you think Jesus will change his ways because we preached it wrong? Especially, since he told us that people would try to change His word but that his word remained "settled in heaven"?And especially since He told us the vital necessity of adhering to His word in an unadulterated fashion? I mean, according to the word "somebody's" going to be thrown in the lake of fire, right? I daresay this thought challenges the theology of those who believe more, shall we say, liberally, but the word is clear. Rev 21:8 Who we gonna believe, Jesus or our "lying eyes".
Btw, not picking on Osteen, he is simply emblematic of the alleged "emergent" church. I could have easily used Richard Cizik (sic?) "Emergent" really means "diametrically opposed to sound doctrine as clearly written", but I digress! God bless Merry Christmas. Sorry to run on so much but with Candance linking me to truth spoken so harshly, I thought that I might give it a go. Love You All.
Exit thought: In this time commerce, when we're told about Jesus bringing "Peace on Earth", to the extent that he's mentioned at all, what if they're wrong. What if Christ actually said the exact opposite thing? What if he didn't come to bring "peace" at all? Hint: Matt 10:34-39, could be a clue. Let me know if there are questions, hopefully I could help, I know this stuff is kind of new to most. It was new to me once.

In order to be pro-choice, one must first be born. Ah, the irony.
In all fairness
December 20, 2008 - 18:37 ET by choselife3xMona Lisa wasn't exactly showing much skin.
Compared to the average Victoria's Secret commercial she looks about as 'sexy' as a nun.
On a personal note, as a 28 year old mother of three who gave birth 10 weeks ago and is already back to ideal weight for her height (5'11"&155 lbs) I LOVE to show off my body. To my husband.
In order to be pro-choice, one must first be born. Ah, the irony.
But...
December 20, 2008 - 22:34 ET by Wilbur747in many cultures, especially back then the model who posed for the painting would be considered a whore unless the artist was given permission by her husband, clothed or not.
The photo of Aniston showed MUCH less skin than Venus de Milo yet she is to be condemned? I urge you to look at classic paintings before you judge whether Aniston's photos are distasteful. I think you'll find that Aniston's pics are as tasteful as the classics.
Do we condemn the scuplture of Venus because of the verses that Acts presents? The sculpture is of a nude lady, yet even the Vatican doesn't condemn it.
While I will never say that Aniston's posing is a masterpiece, I will say it was done in taste. Please consider all the other actresses who have done worse in order to further their career. Are they not condemned by you and Acts?
As far as the great works of art, I'm sure Acts will find many things that are revolting. So why pick on Aniston?
About Victoria's Secret...I agree.
About your new miracle...Congrats! May God bless you and your children!
Hey Wilbur!
December 21, 2008 - 08:52 ET by choselife3xI wasn't condemning Jennifer. I haven't seen the pictures. And I like her.
Just saying that I only 'show off' to my husband. Even disregarding any 'moral' question, I just wouldn't want him to feel like I care about any man's attention other than his. Doesn't mean I wear a sack, I dress well, just don't show any cleavage or wear skirts that rise above the knee. Personally, I do think it is more tantalizing to conceal than reveal anyway.;-) And I'm just bonkers about my husband.
On a side note, the models for people like Michelangelo and Cellini WERE whores! Literally. They were the only women who could pose for nude works without general opprobrium.
In order to be pro-choice, one must first be born. Ah, the irony.

December 21, 2008 - 21:02 ET by Wilbur747I wasn't directing my rant at you. I apologize. My fingers tend to go faster than my brain.
I was trying to illustrate to Acts that a nude, be it a painting or photo can be tasteful and doesn't necessarily warrant constant biblical condemning. How many famous paintings by the masters does Acts protest with his/her numerous biblical passages?
I feel Aniston's pose was done in good taste. Yes it was suggestive, but I think that was the point. I admire her for not doing full nude scenes in movies. Like you said, it's much more tantalizing to conceal!
Sharon Stone has a habit of dropping dress in many movies and while I used to think she was sexy, I really don't anymore.
While many models were indeed whores, I was referring to the number of protests today by evangelicals of these paintings. Virtually none

Public Domain
1 Peter 1:10-12 (King James Version)
10Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
11Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
12Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.So the bibles position is that Jesus is responsible for EVERY SINGLE WORD of your bible. Which is not short an is certainly not all "sweet". But your position is that Christ is "short and sweet". Not trying to pick a fight with you, I mean, all you did was come in the middle of a conversation with others and attack me and all. But perhaps you don't know what you think you know about Christ. December 20, 2008 - 16:48 ET by Wilbur747but after reading your comments, I realize that you're right. Aniston never exposed anything on film, although some were suggestive. But then again so were many Bogart/Hutton films. Yet Aniston has blossomed in a world where sex dominates.
Aniston is indeed a beautiful woman. I never really thought about her films until I read your post. She has a talent for romance and a little slap-stick. She also has great facial expressions which is crucial for an actor.
Best of all, she keeps her politics to herself, unlike Sarandon and Penn.
In todays film world, it seems that many actresses rely more on their nudity (and home movies) to promote themselves than they do their talent.
While I may not be a fan of some of Anistons' films, I do agree she has great talent and doesn't need to rely on nudity. We need more films without overt sex. I want a story, not nudity.
How many great works of art show more nudity yet are hailed as great, yet Aniston is panned for a photo that shows nothing?

She Does Seem Nice & Not A Diva
December 20, 2008 - 23:46 ET by Asian ConThat's what appeals to me. It's that "girl next door" quality she has. I was watching a Aniston marathon today on the USA network. Bruce Almighty, Along Came Polly, & The Break-Up. All funny movies, IMO. Frankly, I don't know what Brad was thinking. I mean Angelina is hot but, Jennifer seems more like the girl you take home to meet your parents and Jolie is more like the girl on the side. Not that I condone adultery or anything like that.

December 21, 2008 - 00:52 ET by andophiroxiaIt seems like a lot of marriages in Hollywood are just simple contracts lashed together by two narcassistic people. (Although, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Anniston attributed their breakup mostly to two differing work schedules.) However, it seems like a lot of Hollywood gets married because it will advance both of their careers and not really what makes a meaningful relationship, and hell, if they are good in bed, that's a bonus! Hell! Let's not even get married and have a bunch of kids together and break up repeatedly. Seems like a lot of society is following suit!
I do like Paul Newman's and Tom Selleck's relationship where they have been with their wives for 20+ years. It's hard to find that now. I guess I'm a sucker for people that really go out of their way to make it with their spouse.

December 21, 2008 - 00:44 ET by winston smithAlyssa Milano has changed a lot since 1982 don't you think? Have you seen her lately? Do an internet search on Alyssa and tell me that you think Jen can hold a candle to Alyssa. Bo Derek in 2008 is smokin' hot and looks better now than 'Jen' did in her prime === that is if she even ever had a prime. I'll give you Charlize Theron -- she is a legitimate talent with the ability of a Faye Dunnaway and the beauty of Melanie Griffith; have not checked out Olivia Wile or Ali Larter, etc. But I can say with great confidence that 'Jen' is simply not the goddess' the MSM make her out to be. Oh, it is true that she goes on record trashing Bush and Republicans at least once a year which is probably why her mediocrity is celebrated in the entertainment world, but really, with all the coverage she gets you'd think she was the equivelant of Marilyn Monroe or Jane Russell. It's hilarious; the women is not even an average actress and yet she gets all this meretricious publicity without ever having even made a decent film. She goes on Letterman, gets him all hot and bothered and goes on to make box office disasters. Think about it, without television and the tabloids, Jen would be working the drive-thru window at Wendy's. She's famous for "Friends", "Brad" and FH magazine spreads but not much more.

December 21, 2008 - 00:56 ET by andophiroxiaI remember listening to the Dennis Miller show. I tuned into the middle of it, but there was someone subbing for Dennis. Well, he had a woman on the line and she was a stand-up comedian. She said she was pretty conservative and she had noticed the decline of real comedy, to which he agreed. The Left infiltrated stand-up with Billy Crystal, Whoopi, and Robin Williams according to him and well, it slammed the PC into comedy. Now it's comedy if a white guy slams his whiteness and craps on the entire white race.
Even though I am not sure if the introduction of those 3 comics ruined stand-up, there was very biting satire previously. He even stated that Kinnison would have lawsuits thrown at him at every angle if he did his show now. He also argued that stand-up was inherently conservative because it took a biting look at everything and pulled no punches about it---then PC made it lame.
I would agree. There's nothing really good anymore in the movies and TV because the Left has made every damn movie that could have been good into a talking point.
