Get ready to learn everything you ever wanted to know about the Valerie Plame Wilson affair, for she is going to be interviewed by CBS's Katie Couric this Sunday on "60 Minutes."

And you can bet your bottom dollar the former CIA agent is going to be grilled like a terror suspect at Guantanamo Bay.

Or, maybe not.

As reported at CBSNews.com moments ago:

Valerie Plame Wilson, the former covert CIA officer whose leaked identity resulted in a national scandal that reached all the way to the White House, will appear on 60 Minutes in her first interview.

Plame spoke to Katie Couric recently for a report to be broadcast on 60 Minutes, Sunday, Oct. 21, at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

Plame Wilson and her husband, former Ambassador Joe Wilson, accuse the Bush administration of leaking her identity to the press as retaliation for Wilson's claim that the White House manipulated intelligence on Iraq's weapons of mass destruction.

A subsequent investigation into the leak resulted in the conviction for perjury and obstruction of justice of Lewis Libby, the former top aide of Vice President Richard Cheney.

Think Katie will ask Wilson about columnist Bob Novak's take on this matter? Or about Dick Armitage's involvement in the scandal? Or about the Wilsons' suit against top Administration officials being dismissed?

Or, is this just going to be another opportunity for a Bush-basher to use "60 Minutes" to sell Bush-bashing books?

Or didn't you know that Plame has a new book out wherein it's a metaphysical certitude she'll have some unkind words for the President of the United States?

As such, where else would a liberal with a new Bush-bashing book go to hawk it?

Anybody?
