On Sunday, film director/producer Michael Moore gave a special sneak preview of his new schlockumentary “Sicko” at the Regal Theatre in Times Square, New York.
After the screening, he was approached by two brothers who run a website called We Are Change, which appears to be largely another “9/11 Truth” organization.
At first, Moore was trying to elude the pair, but finally answered a few of their questions surrounding the events of September 11, 2001.
Whether intentional or caught off guard, Moore indicated he believes the worst attack on American soil in decades could quite possibly be an inside job (video available here, h/t NB reader M.R., relevant section begins at minute 6:00):
Well, I’ve had a number of firefighters tell me over the years since 9/11 that they heard these explosions. Uh, that they believe that there’s much more to this story than we’ve been told. I don’t think the official investigations have told us the complete truth. They haven’t even told us half the truth. And, so, I support, and I hope, you know, if there’s a new administration or somebody could open up a new investigation into this before we get too far away from it to find out the whole truth.
Let me just give you one thing that has, I’ve asked for for a long time. I’ve filmed before down at the Pentagon before 9/11. There’s got to be at least a hundred video cameras ringing that building, in the trees, everywhere. They’ve got that plane coming in with a hundred angles. How come we haven’t seen the straight – I’m not talking about stop action photos, or. I’m talking about the video. I want to see the video. I want to see a hundred videos that exist of this. Why don’t they want us to see that plane coming into the building? Because, you know, if you know anything about flying a plane, if you’re going 500 MPH, if you’re off by that much, you’re in the river. To hit a building that’s only five stories high that expertly, uh, I believe that there will be answers in that videotape, and we should demand that that tape is…You see, I’m not very good at the physics and all that. But I, but I, believe me, the questions need to be answered, and I intend in my own way to find some answers. So, thank you for whatever you’re doing.
Somehow I doubt that any of the mainstream journalists interviewing Moore will address his views concerning this issue.
Why might that be?

June 19, 2007 - 18:26 ET by ArchConservativeIs it any surprise to anyone that this bastard thinks the government caused 9/11 instead of Islamists? The same person who smeared us who served in his last movie actually thinks that we are not at war? Knock me over with a feather. What's next, Carter wants us to recognize the terrorist organization Hamas? Ooops that already happened.

June 19, 2007 - 18:27 ET by KhyrisTry 150 mph genius... that's landing speed for most commercial airliners. It's not that hard to hit a 5 story building at 150. Besides... 500 mph? Would have gone clear through the courtyard and out the other side.
Maybe the reason they haven't released videos from pentagon security cameras is because .... They're PENTAGON SECURITY CAMERAS.

June 19, 2007 - 19:31 ET by Del DolemonteThe plane that hit the Pentagon was going MUCH faster than 150 miles per hour. I would have to find the link, but ground radar showed that the plane was going something like 350 MPH when it hit the ground. The plane had dropped an incredible amount of altitude in a relatively short timespan, hence the higher than normal speed so close to the ground.

June 19, 2007 - 21:59 ET by LighthouseJI found this site. It says the flight data recorder says it was going an average of 325 knots or 374mph. The 9/11 Comission stated 396 knots, or 455mph.

Oh, (raising hand as high as possible) I know this one, I know this one. Because both Mikey and the demedia make a lucrative living disparaging America, predominantly during a Republican Administration.
Regardless, I suggest Mikey just save some time and waddle down to the National Sheraton in Arlington and ask why their top floor restuarant was closed after 911. He will correctly be told the reason is because the plane that struck the Pentagon actually first struck a communications tower located on the roof just feet above the restuarant. Due to that incident, it seems nobody wanted to dine there in the years following 911 despite the splendid view of the Pentagon, the Potamac, Reagan International and DC the restuarant provides. Unfortunately, to my knowledge, there is no video of the plane striking the tower on the hotel roof so Mikey would probably assume hotel management is in cahoots with the Government. Sicko. And these folks want to provide my national security.....

June 19, 2007 - 18:58 ET by c5thenI've seen the Pentagon security camera video. It shows the plane in only one frame. Why, because at the estimated 350mph that the plane was traveling, it was covering over 500 feet per second. Security cameras only take a few frames per second. It also shows, by the explosion, that the plane hit the ground about 50-100 feet short of the Pentagon itself and exploded on contact. The pentegon damage was done by the debris and burning jet fuel hiting the building at 300 mph.

June 19, 2007 - 19:36 ET by Del DolemonteOne of my cousins is a civilian researcher with the US Navy and works in a lab right near the Pentagon. She was one of the first people on-site on 9/11, and she assures me that it WAS a large American Airlines plane, not the military plane/cruise missile that people like Moore have claimed it to be.
Stranger than truth, that day was also my cousin's second wedding anniversary! She and her husband, a military man, were married on 9/11/99. I was at their wedding, which was held (gulp) on a hillside overlooking the Pentagon and Washington DC.

June 19, 2007 - 19:48 ET by QueenMumDel: Your cousin is obviously "in on the scam". (sarcasm off) No disrespect intended. I'd just like to see someone like your cousin sitting on that "View" set with Rosie while Rosie spouts her Bush conspiracy nonsense. It makes me furious. People like Rosie are spitting on the men and women who were killed and injured at the Pentagon, Shanksville, and NYC.
P.S. I've always wanted to tell you that your user name makes me laugh. It isn't your real name, is it? I mean, I presume that it's a reversal of the names Dole and Del Monte.

June 19, 2007 - 20:22 ET by Del DolemonteYes, I have used those flight trackers in the past.
You have to be careful, because some of the speeds they give you aren't "air speed", but are "ground speed". As Scotty would say on "Star Trek", you cannot change the laws of physics. What I was referring to was "air speed" which is much lower than "ground speed". I can't remember the exact formula, but "air speed" and "ground speed" don't become equal until you take off or land.

Frontline was such unabashed Leftist propaganda I turned it off 20 minutes into the program.
How great to see PBS using all the stock Al Queda and Insurgent footage of our men and women being blown up by IED's as filmed by their own murderous footsoldiers. Also, the lingering and slowmotion footage of our murdered men hung from the bridge and dragged through the streets really wasn't lovingly shown by Frontline for any propaganda message, was it?
Was this produced by Al Jazeera?
What a pantload of crap.
