Arthur Chu is "the fourth highest-earning Jeopardy! champion in non-tournament gameplay, with a grand total of $298,200."
That achievement, and a supposedly high-end education at Swarthmore College (2013-2014 tuition - $44,368), supposedly qualify him to be columnist at Salon.com. Apparently, you have to be a really smart guy like Chu to figure out that any American who says that "All lives matter" is a flaming hypocrite. After the jump, ignoring Chu's tired criticisms of the U.S. atomic bombings in World War II — PJTV's Bill Whittle has, excuse the expression, completely nuked those arguments for all time — watch how Chu proves that there is indeed an especially odious level of hypocrisy at work — and he's the one exemplifying it (bolds are mine throughout this post):

I can still see them being linked every time someone says #AllLivesMatter in response to the #BlackLivesMatter refrain, most recently at Martin O’Malley’s incredibly unfortunate response to #BlackLivesMatter activists at Netroots Nation. (Whatever else you can say about him, we can at least be sure Governor O’Malley doesn’t spend much time on Twitter.)
It shouldn’t be rocket science why invoking “All Lives Matter” is, at best, insensitive and, at worst, an active attempt to derail activism and deny reality. Nobody is disagreeing that all people’s lives do, in fact, matter and ought to matter equally.
The point is that right now they are not treated as though they matter equally. Some people’s lives are treated as precious, others as disposable garbage. If you really do believe all lives matter, then your focus should be on black lives, which are demonstrably the most neglected lives in our country and, for that matter, the world. Treating a focus on black lives as a “special interest” or parochial concern requires willful ignorance about what kind of world we actually live in.
Considering that Chu certainly prepared his writeup, published on August 7, after at least three of the gruesome Planned Parenthood videos were released by the Center for Medical Progress (and possibly four, or all five), the second bolded section above has to be near the head of the line for the most unaware passage written — ever.
Let's focus on black lives a bit, shall we?
As Democratic Ohio State Representative Bill Patmon noted last week, in an inspiring speech at a demonstration in Columbus:
... (abortion) is my business, especially when 17 million of them (have been done on) black women — 17 million, more than any other population, 17 million that look and act and talk and are similar to myself. But even more than that, they're Americans and they're human beings!
... in Cuyahoga County, which I happen to represent, and 63 percent of ... (abortions are done on) black women. 63 percent of them are of a certain hue in their skin. And I would say that's just kind of unheard of.
You hear a lot of demonstrations across the country now about how "Black Lives Matter." Well, they skipped one place. They should be in front of Planned Parenthood. They skipped one place. They should be in front of Planned Parenthood! Black Lives Matter! American Lives Matter!
According to his Wikipedia entry, Chu lives in Broadview Heights, Ohio, which just so happens to be in Cuyahoga County. Yes, that's the same county 10th District Representative Patmon represents.
So if Mr. Chu really wants to make a difference in regards to black lives, he could start by helping Representative Patmon do something about the horrific number of black babies aborted in Cuyahoga County. That would seem to be a great enterprise for an alleged self-described "social justice stormtrooper” — except that the "social justice" folks are usually "pro-choice," i.e., pro-murder.
Nationally, preborn black babies are the victims of 35 percent of all abortions, even though blacks make up only 12 percent of the U.S. population. Black preborn babies' lives are therefore disproportionately "disposable garbage" — except we have now learned that Planned Parenthood often gets money when it disposes of its human remains.
Where's the outrage, Arthur?
The "Black Lives Matter" movement, its apologists like Arthur Chu, and outlets like Salon which give maturity-challenged people an unchallenged forum, are and always will be a sorry collection of complete hyprocrites until they focus their attention on the abortion chambers where hundreds of thousands of black lives are lost in the U.S. every year — and where, as we recently learned, they are used to bolster the "bottom line" of those who kill them.
