If you find liberal gnashing of teeth in the aftermath of a "shellacking" to be amusing, then you should try to decide which line of argument/rage/denial at the Daily Kos is most amusing.
There is "Conn Man" armed with the usual tendency to find mental illness and stupidity in the foe:

There is "Jhawklefty" wondering what's the matter with Kansas, and the rest of America:

But perhaps the most entertaining episode came from "Google Bonhoeffer," who sees the election returns as a....sexual assault:
That "Droopy" tag we slap on our party needs to go. It's not helping us. Calling us weak and blaming us for these massive losses is counterproductive.
I don't mean to sound rash but did we not get raped last night only to wake up resembling a rape victim who convinces herself that she was at fault and could've/should've done more to prevent the attack?
No. Sometimes when you are attacked the way we were last night, there's little you can do to fend off the rapist. Therefore it's useless to feel so down on yourself in the aftermath.
I want to be clear here.
We did NOT lose because we are weak or scared.
