When you see Hillary Clinton, do you think of Scarlett Johansson? Or Reese Witherspoon?

According to Britain's Independent, the director of the upcoming 2016 biopic "Rodham" does:

Scarlett Johansson and Reese Witherspoon are among actresses being considered to portray the former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Rodham - about the younger years of the former First Lady and senator - is due out some time around the 2016 presidential election, in which Clinton might be a canditate. It will focus on 1974, when she was a Washington lawyer.

Among those in the running to play the 26-year-old Clinton are Amanda Seyfried, who starred in Les Misérables, Zero Dark Thirty's Jessica Chastain, Reese Witherspoon, and Scarlett Johansson, most recently seen playing Janet Leigh in Hitchcock.

Rodham director James Ponstoldt said: “They’re all wonderful actresses. We’re very fortunate that a lot of really great actors are interested in playing these roles. We’re in an enviable position.”

Okay, so here's a picture of Johannson, conceivably one of the most beautiful actresses in film today:

Witherspoon:

Seyfried:

And a young Clinton:

Oh yeah! And Brad Pitt's going to play me when my memoirs are published.

As for Chastain, that isn't as far a stretch:

Of the four, I could see Chastain in the role.

Of course, no matter who plays young Hillary, one can imagine the most-flattering portrait imaginable just in time for the 2016 election.

It really is going to be a long 3 1/2 years.
