Jessica Simpson: ‘I Keep Planning on Getting Married But I Keep Getting Knocked Up’

March 7th, 2013 10:43 AM

Actress and singer Jessica Simpson made a comment Wednesday that is so preposterous in the year 2013 – especially from a woman that is estimated to be worth $100 million! – that it completely defies reason.

Appearing on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, the once again pregnant Simpson said, “I keep planning on getting married but I keep getting knocked up.”

“It’s just one of those things,” she continued as Kimmel laughed. “Maybe I should go back to when I was younger. I was a virgin before I was married. So maybe I should just completely reverse and just stop having sex altogether until Eric and I actually say I do.”

Well, that’s a thought.

If that doesn’t work, how about trying something that’s been around for a few years called birth control?

I mean, she’s not like Georgetown Law School’s Sandra Fluke who apparently can’t afford such a thing.

According to our friends at CelebrityNetWorth.com, Simpson’s worth $100 million.

Sadly Kimmel didn’t mention this, and instead asked his guest if she’s going to keep having a baby every eight months.

“No, I would really like to stop being pregnant,” answered Simpson.

“How are you going to do that, though?” asked Kimmel also apparently unaware of this new thing called birth control. “There's really no way to do that. Oh wait, there are a couple ways to do that.”

“There are some ways,” said Simpson. “Go back to the old school chastity belt.”

Yeah, that’ll work.

Or how about this: get married! Tomorrow! People do it all the time, even when they're pregnant!

Sheesh!
