Alec Baldwin: ‘If Obama Was White, He’d Be Up By 17 Points’

He's baaaaaaack!

CBS's Washington, D.C., affiliate reported at its website Tuesday that the perilously liberal actor Alec Baldwin has returned to Twitter to make a truly preposterous claim about how racism is negatively impacting Barack Obama's reelection chances:

Taking to his Alec Baldwin Foundation Twitter account, Baldwin wrote that President Obama would have a commanding lead if he wasn’t black.

“If Obama was white, he’d be up by 17 points,” Baldwin tweeted.

Unfortunately, Baldwin's Foundation account is protected and only allows access to "confirmed followers." As Baldwin cowardly blocks me, I can't produce a link or an embed to the offending tweet.

However, what Baldwin ignores is that if Barack Obama was white, he never would have beaten Hillary Clinton in the 2008 primaries and therefore would only step foot in the White House if invited by the duly-elected resident.

Liberal media members hell-bent on playing this race card whenever it suits them always ignore this immutable fact.

But that wasn't Baldwin's only racial comment of late. On Tuesday, he called country music's Hank Williams Jr. "a broken down, senile, racist coot." This apparently was in response to anti-Obama statements made by Williams.

And according to CBS-DC, Baldwin tweeted last week, "Romney will continue the GOP legacy of crippling less powerful Americans in order to elevate rich, white, heterosexual, Christian males.”

Capital One must be so proud of its spokesman.
