Chris Matthews' Love Letter to Bill Clinton Beaten in Ratings by Greta Van Susteren

Despite heavy promotion for MSNBC's Monday presentation of "President of the World: The Bill Clinton Phenomenon," Chris Matthews' love letter to the 42nd president didn't get the ratings the network was likely hoping for.

In fact, the special was bested by Fox News's "On the Record" with Greta Van Susteren:

The image above shows Van Susteren won by 4,000 total viewers. In the all important demographic ages 25 to 54, Matthews' defeat was more glaring:

For the record, Greta's guests Monday evening were former United Nations ambassador John Bolton, Ohio Governor John Kasich, Fox's Griff Jenkins and Mike Tobin, Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch, Wisconsin State Senator Lena Taylor, Global Radio News's Saleh Sarrar, and RNC Chairman Reince Priebus.

It appears these folks were more enticing to Americans than watching a Democrat shill blow kisses at one of the two presidents in American history to be impeached.
