Mika's Latest Benghazi Excuse: There Are Some Things Obama Admin Can't Talk About

So THAT'S why President Obama and his spox have seemed so shifty on the Benghazi attack that killed four Americans including the US ambassador to Libya, Christopher Stevens.  There really is a perfectly good explanation for everything.  It's just that--darn it!--state secrecy prevents the prez from telling us.  Yeah, that's the ticket!

Such was the sorry excuse that Mika Brzezinski suggested on today's Morning Jones. When Josh Green of Bloomberg recommended that President Obama get his story in order before Monday's debate, Mika mysteriously said: "there may be some parts of this which they can't talk about, which makes it a very difficult situation." In the meantime, consider this: if the Obama administration "can't talk about" certain aspects of the attack, then presumably they didn't talk about it to Mika Brzezinski.  All they might have said is "trust us, Mika, there really is a good explanation.  We just can't tell you or Americans at large what it is." And Mika is willing to propagate that tale?  Or is there a chance they really did brief her on state secrets?  And what would be the possible explanation, shrouded in national security, that resulted in Susan Rice and Barack Obama himself claiming to the world that the attack sprang from a spontaneous protest against a YouTube trailer when in fact they knew it was a terrorist attack?
 

Note: Mika repeated the "things they can't talk about" line later in the show.  Sounds like someone in Obama-land supplied a talking point.
