Jimmy Fallon Mocks the Clintons: Hillary the Robot, Bill the Womanizer

February 5th, 2016 12:36 PM

While Clinton tries desperately to shed her “ice queen” image, (“Abuela,”anyone?), not everyone in the media is buying it. Immediately following MSNBC’s Democrat debate last night, NBC Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon already had barbs ready for the media’s top pick for Democrat candidate. The comedian even went after Bill immediately after.

Fallon set up the joke by describing how Hillary Clinton answered a question during the previous night’s townhall debate, about her ideal day. “Clinton said that her ideal day would include walking, spending time at a café or book store and talking with old friends.” He continued, “Then Hillary laughed and said, ‘Ha ha, I also like sport and human babies. Malfunctioning, reconnecting, battery low,’” the comedian joked, while imitating a robot.

After continuing to mock that Hillary was a robot, Fallon followed-up with a slam against her husband Bill for his philanderer history.

“Hillary also said that during her time in the White House she would put on a baseball cap and sunglasses so that she could walk around Washington, D.C. unnoticed. The only time it went wrong when was Bill pulled up and said, "Hey, baby, do you have -- oh, never mind! Hey, hey!”

Attacking Clinton as cold and unfeeling was a bit surprising coming from Fallon, as just the week before he portrayed Clinton as warm and friendly. Saturday Night Live’s Kate McKinnon, who portrays Hillary Clinton, appeared on Fallon’s show January 27 where she gushed about Hillary, calling her “literally a dreamboat.” Just ten days before that, Fallon and Clinton made light of her email scandal when she appeared on his show.
