It doesn't show up on my smart phone

I've been to other websites where disqus shows up when using my smart phone, but when I come here, it doesn't show up, just the original comment system. I don't know why that is the case, but it is.
Given the amount of trollage I've seen on the disqus side of things when I'm using my PC at work to look at the site, I'd just as soon not use disqus or even read it. Plus I don't trust something if it's something being used by government toadies on other sites.
As for the smart phone thing, I've been slowly moving away from my PC and am leaning towards wanting to purchase a tablet to do my browsing/games with. If I can't come to this site to do the commenting, what else is there? Now it'll be like "everyone else."
And that really sucks.

I don't understand why that is, and in my case, every time I go to NB, I get re-directed to the mobile version, which now that I think about it is where I'm assuming the disqus stuff doesn't work. I tried to find an option to go to the full website like there are on some other sites, but doesn't seem to be one.
You admins have any ideas?

In my likely ignorant opinion, nothing was wrong with the "old NB." I liked it a lot. I don't come onto the site that much and rarely post now, but some have acclimated themselves to this new NB quite well.
To be honest, I find the "expansion" has made it more cumbersome and somehow, more boring with a larger community -- I miss how it was. I miss the people. Some are still here (perhaps many), but it's an effort to locate them. There are a few new posters I really like ("Blonde Thinker" is one), but basically, I feel like you do.
Sorry for the shock to your system. Since I knew this was coming quite some time ago, it was a slow grieving for me...beginning with denial and ending with acceptance. I stop by from time time, but I'm not really into it anymore.
Just the fact that I'll pretty quickly respond on an old NB thread pretty much says it all! ;)
