Jewish Leaders Join Bozell’s Demand for Network Coverage of Anti-Semitism at 'Occupy Wall Street'
Within hours of NewsBusters publisher and Media Research Center (MRC) president Brent Bozell sending certified overnight letters to demand ABC, CBS, CNN and NBC cover the video evidence of racial bigotry at Occupy Wall Street protests, three prominent Jewish leaders joined the call for the TV networks to cover the anti-Jewish hatred.
"The Left has a long history of anti-Semitism going back to Karl Marx," Don Feder of Jews Against Anti-Christian Defamation noted. "In that context the anti-Semitism of some OWS protestors and organizations isn’t surprising. What also isn’t surprising but is disturbing, is the mainstream media’s refusal to report this."
"Unsubstantiated allegations of racism on the part of certain Tea Party protestors which later proved to be unfounded was the subject of intense media scrutiny," Feder recalled, contrasting that with the "Real palpable, verifiable anti-Semitism on the part of OWS protestors [that] the media has no interest in covering."
Rabbi Daniel Lapin of the American Alliance of Jews and Christians agreed. "Self-obsessed dilettantes who foist their feces and filth on a downtown park are probably not speaking the truth. Today’s cultural conflict is not between Jews and Christians, blacks and whites, or even rich and poor. It is between those who struggle to sustain civilization and those who wish to obliterate it."
"Anti-Semitism, excremental assault, abolition of commercial creativity and the glorification of depravity are all variations of the attack against civilization," noted Lapin.
Radio talk show host Michael Medved complained that the "Mainstream media should be every bit as vigilant about anti-Semitism of the Left as they are appropriately indignant about anti-Semitism of the right."
"Fortunately, Media Research Center is there to expose the frequent double standard when it comes to public expressions of Jew hatred," the syndicated columnist added.
Bozell promised that the MRC would keep up the pressure on the media to report the virulent anti-Semitism at the OWS protests:
Neither Jews nor Christians, nor any person of faith should stand for the deliberate whitewash of anti-Semitism at these protests, especially not by the same newsrooms that were eager to link supposed racism to the Tea Party. We will not stop applying pressure to these networks until they stop concealing the hatred and report the reality of Occupy Wall Street.

Interestingly, I stand solidly against the unjust Federal Reserve (which is no more federal than Federal Express) but the funny thing is that said opposition has ZERO to do with "Jews". I couldn't care less what religion a person subscribes to regarding a Constitutional matter that Congress is responsible for yet has unjustly delegated away absent the authority to do so.
As an aside -The registered overnight letter is an interesting avenue taken. Might Mr. Bozell be interested in doing something similar regarding coverage of, well, the lack of it actually, The GunWalker Scandal? I submit that no story in my lifetime has been intentionally spiked as GunWalker. No, not even the blatant Jew Bashing going on at the #Occupy _______ "protests" going unreported compares to the media cover up of GunWalker.

In 21st century America it is accepted, even encouraged by some (including the current President) to spout hatred against Jews, Christians, whites, the (relatively speaking) wealthy, TEA Party supporters, Republicans, and those who promote self reliance.

This is IMPORTANT to cover now vs. violence and killing later. Show what these people are. It is the job of the media. And not their job to paint with rose colored glasses. Hard to see the red TRUE hatred with red glasses on; seems normal. Yet lamestream media unjustly bash innocent TEA party like there is no tomorrow. Shameful, amazing, and outrageous. Demand accountability & coverage!

the presence of racists in the TP which was a bad thing. Now you want them to do the same thing about antisemitism in the OSW movement? Is it that 2 wrongs make a right? Or that blowing something way out of proportion is only bad if it is against your particular organization?

Of course the media is going to whitewash OWS. They fully endorsed the movement, so to report what's really going on would be to make themselves look real stupid.
But they've set a precedent on stupidity re: the vetting (or lack thereof) of candidate Obama. Re: "even the seagulls seem to be singing in joy, or something stupid like that.

it's important to reveal to the general public the true nature of these protesters. racist, liberal, left leaning socialists, anarchists and communists with a few legitimate protestors mingled in between.
they disregard the "peaceful" nature of a legal protest. public defecation and urination, rampant drug use and promiscuous sex, refusal to purchase permits, disrupt businesses, harrass police and passers by, block traffic, hurl obscenities at SPECIFIC ethnicities all the while crying for more hand outs and entitlements.
it's a grave injustice to even compare these animals to the Tea party movement. if they're a legitimate movement then i'm a little green alien!

Based upon the vitriol of a couple outliers (as in the video example above), no one should be coming to the conclusion that the OWS crowd, generally speaking, is anti-Semitic. This, perhaps, is the MSM's POV on this topic, and probably the reason (in their own minds, anyway) why they haven't yet covered it.
The problem, howerver, is the media disparity in coverage between Tea Party and OWS protests. If the media were unbiased, they would've broadcasted the above video incessantly along with the narrative that the OWS protestors are a bunch of violent, hateful, bigoted racists. End of story.

He also pointed out that, according to his organization's periodic polls, roughly one in six Americans believed Jews had too much power in Wall Street and the American government.
