In case you missed it, Rush Limbaugh made reference to Tom Blumer's May 2 article, "AP: Secret Prisons and Harsh Interrogation Techniques Worked; Will TV Nets Report?"

Now, our buddies at NewsBusters have captured this in the cache in case AP pulls this off their site. "Officials say that CIA interrogators in secret overseas prisons developed the first strands of information that ultimately led to the killing of Osama bin Laden...."

In fact most articles I've read to date have mentioned in some way that early leads in discovering the courier were obtained through the CIA's secret prison network.
Shortly after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, detainees in the CIA's secret prison network told interrogators about an important courier with the nom de guerre Abu Ahmed al-Kuwaiti who was close to bin Laden.
I can not speak for the networks. I don't really watch.
