December 16 Media Mash: Media Gush Over Clinton Briefing Room Appearance, Media Ignore Dem Saying 'F*** the President'

By NB Staff | December 17, 2010 | 11:55

Before the media got thrills and chills over Obama, they were enthralled with Bill Clinton. They still have that lovin' feeling for him to this day, judging by their reaction to President Clinton's return to the White House briefing room lectern on December 10.

"This was really a bad moment for Obama. I don't think he realized just how much the media love Bill Clinton," NewsBusters publisher Brent Bozell observed during the "Media Mash" segment of the December 16 edition of Fox News Channel's "Hannity."

The Media Research Center founder challenged the media's portrayal of Clinton as "some kind of a rock star to the Democratic Party" when in fact "he loses as many races as Obama does."

"Obama lost 63 races, 63 seats in his first midterm. Bill Clinton lost 54, right behind him," Bozell reminded the "Hannity" audience.

"That's a good point, and one that a lot of people don't make," host Sean Hannity agreed.

Bozell and Hannity also discussed the double standard evident between media coverage of Rep. Joe Wilson's (R-S.C.) "you lie" outburst during an Obama speech to Congress in September 2009 and how the media were silent about a Democratic congressman's grousing, "f*** the president" with regards to Obama's negotiating with Republicans on extending the Bush tax cuts.

THE. WORST.

PRESIDENT. EVER.

And then that other one, the adulterer.... THE. MOST. FOS. PRESIDENT. EVER.

That 2-President press conference was also THE most embarrassing spectacle. It was utterly disrespectful to the traditions of the executive office and being POTUS. It is a privilege to preside over this nation, but Jug Ears acts like he's just punching the clock with a "really cool gig".

Can't wait for January, and the hope that we can expose this pig and kick him out.
