Bozell, Hannity Tackle Media Misrepresentation of Tax Debate on December 9 'Media Mash' Segment
"This is journalistic insanity," NewsBusters publisher Brent Bozell protested after watching a montage of liberal journalists misrepresenting the tax policy debate before Congress.
"There is no tax cut going on here at all.... What we're talking about is preventing a tax increase, a tax increase which, by the way, economists are saying, is going to throw this country into a double-dip recession," the Media Research Center (MRC) founder reminded viewers of the "Media Mash" segment on the December 9 "Hannity."

What's more, Bozell noted, since the mainstream media are worried over the size of the federal deficit, reporters should keep in mind that "tax cuts don't cause deficits, spending does."
Fox News host Sean Hannity then turned to the topic of how the media were highlighting liberal angst over Obama cutting a deal with congressional Republicans.
Bozell reminded the "Hannity" audience that Republicans have constantly been hammered by the media for not compromising and working with President Obama, yet when they do work out a tax compromise, the media highlight the complaints of the Left against Obama for seeking a bipartisan solution to the pending tax hike.
Hannity and Bozell also discussed a recent Barbara Walters's interview with Sarah Palin.

The Heritage Foundation is reporting major problems on many DEMOCRAT fronts as far as the “Tax Deal” getting passed in anything near its current form. Stay tuned, the tax rates may lurch upward in the middle of an awful recession.
Latest rumors are the democrats are packing MORE spending (debt) in it as a Christmas Tree for their pet voters
This would be true to form for the national socialist Party (aka democrat) and insure another blowout in 2012 or intolerable voter screams next month to correct this economic insanity. So much for “compromise”.
(they are very very desperate to raise taxes because their 13 trillion debt albatross gets heavier as 2012 gets closer)

I sure hope so! Two years is nothing. It will do nothing for jobs. These need to be made permanent to make any diffrence. And all that extra spending that was thrown in, the ethanol and wind money needs to be thrown out. Lets get a real conservative bill done.
Save a SeAL, club a liberal/troll!!

Paying people not to work is not compassionate nor is it fair. Taking another hundred dollars out of a working mans paycheck and giving it to others is not generosity. Even though that is exactly what democrats would have you believe! I think media anchors are jealous of anyone who is more successful in life than they are and feel those who make more money than katie couric, meredith viera, diane sawyer should be penalized by just taking from the successful and give it to them um er...........the poorThere is nothing in this

There is nothing in this 'bill' that addresses business not hiring due to the uncertainty of this government...
Nothing addresses the government inclination to grab control of private business...
Nothing addresses how the 300-350 yet unwritten ObamaCare rules may impact business costs...
Nothing addresses the question of 'cap and trade'...
Nothing addresses the rising energy and commodity costs...
Nothing addresses the proposed 'card check'...
Nothing addresses the precedent of government taking invested money and giving it to unions at GM...
Nothing addresses Obama's promises to raise taxes on the 'rich' ...
Nothing addresses the government preference for retroactive laws...
