I will believe those darling girls received their vaccines when I see a picture of the White House nurse swabbing their arms with an alcohol-soaked cotton ball.
Since Obama deems this a national emergency and says it is imperative all, especially the young and the aged, receive the H1N1 vaccine, you'd think they'd make an exception, for the good (health) of the nation, and publish photographs of the girls receiving theirs. Have them in the hallways of schools, encouraging children and assuring children all will be well, to be little ambassadors for the President and his "cause" for our national health safety.
If there are photos and I have overlooked them - that is simply grand and I applaud the publication.
Until then? Nah. Don't think the girls received anything but a press release.
The younger daughter is my absolute favorite. Even in still pictures, her face just radiates fun and mischief. By the way, the family photo? Michelle is holding the hands of both the girls. The younger has her arm slung around her father's shoulders. Obama is touching no one, his fingers laced and resting on his lap. I found that odd for a family portrait. Just sayin'.
I agree there is definatley something not right with those two. I am just saying that because they do alot of travelling separate, especially overseas and there is naught chemistry there, just look at the photos of them together.
I remember Whoopi Goldberg saying on the View how hot they were for each other and some reference to the action that would going on in their bedroom that hasn't since who knows when.
I don't see the chemistry either. Michelle seems kind of prickly to me, not easy to get close to. They also remind of the Clinton's, they seem so aware of the cameras and act affectionate for photos.

In 1984 I built and installed a solar hot water system in my home. What I am seeking is a retroactive energy tax credit back to 1984. Now I realize that I may have installed this system for all the wrong reasons, ie: to save money! While not for one minute considering the enviromental impact of my actions.
Then again, if there is such a tax credit, I fear I may be ineligible because of what I was or was not thinking at the time.
You should talk to your accountant about refiling your taxes for those years, although it wouldn't surprise me if solar energy tax credits weren't on the books during most of the 80s.
Warning! Actually around the time he was seeking restitution or a tax credit, global cooling was believed to be the problem. Therefore his actions contributed to the, then current, problem and as a result he may owe additional fees plus a significant penalty.

Solar tax credits were indeed in effect in 1984! We were just getting out from under Jimmy Carter and the 70's gas lines. At that time, solar electric was just about non-existant. The government solar regs were just as they are today. You had to buy a $10,000 government approved system to qualify for a $300 annual tax credit.
Joe Lieberman appeared on FNC, not only opposed to the public option, he actually gets why it's bad. The public option will raise private insurance rates because... wait for it, wait for it... The public option will underpay medical care providers like Medicare (80% of cost) and Medicaid (70% of cost) which forces them to make up the difference by charging private health insurers 130% of cost.
What this says is even if a trigger for the public option were put in, once triggered, private health insurance rates would then be forced to increase in proportion to the numbers of people ON THE PUBLIC OPTION in order to make up the difference in under paying medical care providers.
True health care reform would be forcing Medicare and Medicaid to pay 100% of cost that the rest of us on private health insurance would see their rates drop!!!!! However, let's not get stuck with the zero-sum game the liberals always play. The true solution is technological innovation (such as new Rx and adult stem cell therapies) to bring down the costs of treatment and new treatments that avoid currently expensive procedures or cure diseases that are costly to mitigate.
The above is worth a look. It's pretty much what I had been saying about the constitutionality of what's been going on with the health care BS, and details it better than I can as to why, but in a nutshell, Congress has never mandated a service before with a penalty attached to it. But it certainly goes hand in hand with how Nana Pelousy was asked that question about it being constitutional(which it's not) and her response was "Are you serious?" John Boehner had raised the question as well.
Has anyone heard other talks about it regarding the unconstitutional acts of Congress trying to make this happen? I'm talking about the fact that it IS unconstitutional, doesn't matter if people want it or not, and most certainly people don't want it.

Blonde suggested that I propose it to BKeyser, who was good at graphics and Flickr. Well, Bob saw the comments and came up with this, which he sent to me by PM and I think everyone should see it....
The logo got me thinking... I'm looking for ideas for a Conservative logo. A commercial on TV that repulses me is the one with Wendy Malik's voiceover talking about the mistreated animals.

I always wonder why there isn't a similar ad campaign for the unborn children at risk of abortion. The same superimposed text could even be used. The same voice over. The FCC probably wouldn't allow it.

I prefer the one opposite the one with the flowing text (I couldn't bring myself to say the one on the "left" *LOLOL*). To me, it seems a bit stronger, more firm, steadfast.
The one on the right, flowing, seems equally strong, but a bit more on the feminine side. The GOPs Pink Elephants have their own logo. *smile* Conservative women may enjoy the same separate but equal logo, too.
Such talent! I'd chose you for an NEA grant over those liberal crayon pushers every time!

A commercial on TV that repulses me is the one with Wendy Malik's voiceover talking about the mistreated animals.
As the text is superimposed over the pictures of these animals (cats and dogs):
What did I do wrong?
Why did they hurt me?
Why did they abandon me?
Will I die today?
Wendy then says:
"Every day, thousands of animals throughout America are neglected, tortured, and often killed. They can't speak up or fight back against animal abuse, but you can."
Without exception, every bluddy time this commercial comes on, the only thing I can think about are all the unborn children that are aborted (in ways even more cruel and inhuman than the animals shown in the commercial).
I always wonder why there isn't a similar ad campaign for the unborn children at risk of abortion. The same superimposed text could even be used. The same voice over. The FCC probably wouldn't allow it.
Animals, it seems, are of far more import than children.
How sad.
