Most presidents become a joke at some point. It's a matter of when and how. Both points should concern this president. In Winston Churchill's words, "a joke is a very serious thing." Or it can be, when the joke is about a very serious thing...
Political satire matters when it is larger than the joke. The growing rap on Obama is that he is a man both ineffective and meek; a man who is loved by all and feared by none.

Who is fueling the leaks in DC? Hillary?
This administration's lack of attention to Afghanistan is inexcusable and reprehensible. I can't imagine how I'd feel if I had a family member involved. Obama needs to get a clue. This is far more important than lobbying for Olympics.

Not completely, not partially, but it's a tiny bit there that's getting noticed.
I don't have any family in the military, but I have friends in it, and even if I didn't, I still appreciate our armed forces for everything they do. I hate how this is happening.

I will admit from what I hear Afghanistan right now is a disater wating to happen. It is being politicized, well even more than nornal, and may end up being a Vietnam type war - hopefully not. I fully believe that Obama is not up to the task of letting the Dogs of War loose.

He's a great man, with a great plan, and its showing in the number of [outlier] [push] polls like the AP poll yesterday and the Quinnipiac poll today. That is why I believe Obama will get his health care plan through and the recent mild satire will soon come to an end.

The other son in law, the Marine, is scheduled to leave for Afganistan on the 29th. He will not be in that much danger because he is in a Prowler squadron. I think about all of our men and women defending our way of life just about daily.

Actually no. Those were not Sir Winston Churchill's words. They were instead the words of the lesser-known English satirist and poet, Charles Churchill, a friend of both John Wilkes, the well-known radical, and Robert Lloyd, another little-known poet.
The words you quoted were contained in Churchill's poem entitled "The Ghost," which was published in parts, the first back in 1762, one hundred nine years prior to the birth of Winston Churchill, who was born in 1871. Charles Churchill died in 1764.
You can find the following Charles Churchill poem, quoted here.
