How can the anti-Semite Carter call anyone else racist?

They have no other argument.  We will never have racial equality until the left stops using it a a political tool!

These guys throwing the race card willy-nilly may cause the country to be ripped apart. We should not care about the race of the president but the policies. And we do not like the policies. I know I do not. They will make neighbor turn on neighbor. They will resurrect the conflict of the civil rights movement in my mind without the real racial tension of the conflict just for political expediency. Talk about recklessness.

And I think an overwhelming portion of the intensely demonstrated animosity toward former President Jimmy Carter is justifiable, based on my personal impression of him being a deluded, deranged, dangerous, and doddering individual.

Carter's accusation against the American people (some of whom voted for him) are truly, truly sad, pathetic, disingenous, and cowardly.

Only a liberal media would give this historically failed former President and terrorist appeaser any creedence.

Once again, this inept, pathetic, and poor excuse for an ex-president - one who presses the flesh with world dictators, much like Obama will apologize for America every chance he gets, hides behind his version of "Christianity" and his work with Habitat for Humanity to espouse his own left-wing, socialist, liberal agenda - and now has the audacity to accuse people in his own region of the country of being "racist"?

All this coming out of the mouth of a man who once consulted his then teenage daughter for policy advice!

Just like your liberal cronies, because you can't face the facts and admit to the catastropic failures of your own administration, you have no other option but to attack the right and pull out the race card again - yeah, right, Jimmah!

They began by making us afraid to say "the N word", while coarsening our culture so much many other words many of us find offensive have crept into our homes via television.  Now liberals are trying to portray people who disagree with the policies of the president as racist.  They attempt to silence any critiscism at all with the charge racist.

Meanwhile, an African American rapper pulls a microphone away from a young award winner on an awards show to glorify another african American artist, and not once does the MSM bring up racism.  They are looking for a race war.

The simple fact is, the charge of racism brings with it the most damning accusation one can make of another in today's society. You'd think pedophile would outrank racist, but clearly, it doesn't.

Sadly, there is still racism rampant in this country, in every town and every city to some degree, and it eminates from all races. But, that's a  condition that is not likely to change anytime soon, especially when buffoons like Mr. Carter and almost every MSNBC personality continue to randomly throw it out there.

Charges like this, without any basis on fact (though you can bet that Joe Wilson being from South Carolina is the major implication in this case) does nothing but cheapen the argument, and sanitizes people from real race-related issues still occuring in America.

If the so-called black leaders of today were real leaders, they would immediately shout down these charges as baseless, and make the same argument I'm making; this will not help true victims of racism.

Surely this is no surprise!!  The hood heads just can't stand a black president especially one as intelligent as this president.

Are you speaking for yourself? Who is the "many" you refer to? Is there someone you personally know?  

 The ones who believe they are somehow "Champions of Equality" are undermining the very thing they are championing. By continually whipping out the race card as their "Ace up the sleeve" when their backs are against the wall, they are going to the well too many times.

It's like being called a pedophile for no reason at all and without any evidence. You are now marked as one regardless. Shame on them all who equate disagreements with racism.

Jimmy and people like him are trying their damnedest to foment violence of one kind or another.  We're already seeing it in the race wars where black kids are beating up a white kid in the bus (I don't see how that couldn't be racially motivated), or other incidents, but it's bad enough that when you have events like the 9-12 march and calling people who did that racists.....come on, really?

I wasn't kidding in another post where I said that my boss might have to send me to the tolerance counseling class because he knows I don't like Soetoro and what he's doing to our country.  How long before anyone else starts doing that, care to guess?

Talk about being in a room full of dynamite and powder kegs while trying to take a smoke, sooner or later, something will get set off and there'll be a big explosion of one kind or another.

These people that are trying to foment further division and perhaps even violence need to be brought up on incitement charges because that's what they are doing, they are trying to incite people into doing something to further their agenda.

Don't hold your breath on that though.

I don't like Nancy Pelosi or her policies.  Does that make me sexist?  Of course not.  It's like that sign we saw yesterday from the rally that said nothing at all but also stated it would still be called racist.  They have no other argument.  So they marginalize us by calling us racist.  Where's the debate?  There isn't one. Just dismiss by claiming racism.  ARGH!!!!!!

Why does the Dem party and liberals still hold this guy up as if he was relevant anymore.  Jimmy will say anything to draw attention to him.  He has fast becoming a laughing stock, not only in this country but around the world.

Because the MSM will not report it the eastern europian counties who are our allies are being ignored by this administration.  We are in a very precarious situation.  These countries have lined up to help us in Iraq and Afghanistan.  What happens when we need their help again?

Do you like Chocolate? I do. In fact, it’s really me
absolute favorite treat. I could eat chocolate for all day, and show-up ready
for more the very next morning.

I have a friend from our church that hates chocolate. No
kidding! He’s a pretty good-sized guy, so it’s not like he’s a
feeble-skinny-minnie. That said, he simply hates chocolate.

Now, I think he’s nuts. He’s a great guy, mind you … and we
have other stuff in common – but on the issue of his taste-buds, I think he’s
nuts. I can figure that maybe he’s just never had good chocolate -- you know,
like Swiss or Belgian chocolate. I think to myself that he’s only tried that
Walgreen’s Easter-egg chocolate (you know the ones sold on the aisle end-caps
for months after Easter -- 200 chocolate egg-balls for $1.00.) He’s just never
had really, really good chocolate, because if he did -- he would love and
embrace chocolate, as I have I (and the rest of the sane world.)

I know this for a fact because, drawing upon my frame of
reference ... and projecting that reference “set”, I find it impossible to
rationalize that anyone could actually hate chocolate.

Bear with me here -- I really am getting to my point.

see-the-world around us. We see things based on our experiences and sub-set
ideals.

What’s interesting -- and frankly a little concerning – is
the degree that the “R”-- word is being slung around these days. RACISM.

Conservative Americans hate Socialism, Fascism, and
“Robin-Hood-type” government policies … 
and Liberal (Progressive) Americans can’t understand that idea --  because Liberals are so absolutely convinced
of the social values of compulsive-charity (State-sponsored sharing.) Jeanne
Garafalo, Keith Obermann, Maureen Dowd, Eugene Robinson, of course Jimmy Carter
– are all convinced so totally that Socialism works in a society --  that when the proverbial “wheels-come-off”
--  there MUST BE another reason for
failures. When Conservatives push-back on social programs of this current
president, it can’t possibly be for any other reason that something  born from pure hatred. Liberals can’t fathom
that some people fundamentally oppose the Government running things.

Liberals now rationalize that there must be only one reason
for Conservatives no wanting Government control over their lives. RACE! The
Liberal immediately retreats to the only thing that makes sense to him --  it must be RACIAL! Notice Bill Maher finding
RACIAL fault with a DRUDGE headline --- connecting the dots between the use of
the word NEGS … and something else. Bill Maher’s mind immediately made the
connection. Didn’t yours? Does Bill Maher’s brain always make these kinds of
connections? It’s sort of like the kid in college who was still without a 1st-kiss
… but all he ever thought about was dirty-joke puns, porn-movies, and sex-talk.
After a very short while, you knew where this kid’s head was.

Liberals are fixated on RACE because that’s THEIR mind
projecting THEIR reference “set”. For all the Tea-parties, for all the
Fox-News, for all the Rush, Glenn Beck, Mark Levin, Sean Hannity … the only
time I EVER hear something disparaging about RACE …  is from LIBERALS.

We see things based on our experiences and sub-set ideals.

Funny, because I believe there's no one more racist than Carter. When he ran for Governor of Georgia and offices previous he was a segregationist, and he has a long history of racist comments. His hatred of Jews is obvious even today. This is no man to lecture us about race.

No one cares about the old droppings this guy leaves behind when he opens his mouth.

Of the 21 people who served as Vice President (Mondale) or in the Carter Cabinet, only one was an African-American:  Patricia Roberts Harris.  She was the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, and then in 1979, moved over to be Secretary of Health & Human Services -- neither position considered major Cabinet posts even back then.  And Carter later stated that had he gotten to nominate a Supreme Court Justice, his nominee would've been his Secretary of Education, Shirley Mount Hufstedler -- not an African-American.

So, why didn't Jimmy Carter appoint more African-Americans to positions of leadership?  Why did his cabinet consist mainly of old white guys like Cyrus Vance, Edmund Muskie, Harold Brown, Joe Califano, James Schlesinger, and Cecil Andrus?

             The man was a fool of a president.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

Next to Clinton, Carter is one of the biggest failures as a president, and yet the left feels he has answers to todays questions.  The man lives in his own world and refuses to see the World as it truly is.

This is so pathetic. Did he really think that we need his input on this?  This is the man who builds houses for people who have no idea what it's like to actually work for something. Yes.. that will make some people mad, but it's the truth.

I guess what it boils down is this: Obama will be allowed to make horrendous mistakes, errors in judgment and possibly illegal decisions and the only people allowed to call him on it are other blacks?  If you criticize him and you're white, it makes you a racist.   We are rapidly losing all of our rights in this country, with freedom of speech at the top of the list.

Heck, Jimmy Carter demonstrated that he was not qualified to lead this country.  Since leaving office he has only magnified his incompetence by his words and deeds.  Which brings us to the question:  And Jimmy Carter's opinion is relevant how?

Carter's comments are to rally the base, not change any minds. His comments aren't for the sake of the right or even the independent. Its for the the left that are thinking about jumping ship. He's giving a pep talk to the choir. He doesn't have to be logical. If you think making a logical case is what this is about, you misunderstand it.  Having 55% against Obamacare means some on the left are jumping ship. The racism thing is just a modern day "red menace" for the left to rally against.

The way to combat this is not get sidetracked by the racism issue, (you'll never convince the far left you aren't or the center left they shouldn't be worried about being called one) but to keep throwing out facts.

Just heard Rush call Carter the National Hemorrhoid on his show, almost spit coke all over my monitor.

What I find puzzling about the remarks of my former governor is they are coming from someone who is essentially occupying the 43rd spot on the POTUS totem pole.

Why would he want to come to the aid of a man that is on a pace to possibly knock him up a notch?

Now why would this guy say this?  It is the liberals like Carter that keep everyone from getting along in this country.  Carter should be ashamed of himself on this matter as well has his stance in Israel.

As a Southerner, I have always been ashamed that Jimmy Carter was President.  I was in the service when this dough-head was President and well remember the bumbling way he handled military issues (Hostage Rescue fiasco) and the economy.  His brother Billy would have been a better president.

I understand peoples' feelings towards former President Carter, and I'd be angry too at someone who made some extraordinarily stupid decisions as president. As Phil Hendrie might say, his name is about as electable as Hitler's. But Hendrie also agrees with former President Carter that some of the motivation against President Obama's agenda is motivated by race. Maybe not consciously, and I would have to disagree with Carter that Rep. Wilson is a racist. On the whole, though, Carter hits it on the mark. Consider the following: When people were protesting Bill and Hillary Clinton's healthcare plan in 1994, nobody who disagreed with them, as far as I can tell, referred to them as radical socialists or communists. See, there's a history about the racial tinge of the words communist and socialist in America since the days of Huey Newton and the Black Panthers, who were decidedly radical and to the left.

Now if Colin Powell had ran a successful presidential campaign and became president, I doubt that there would be any comparisons to him as being a radical socialist or communist. That's because he's center-right. But since President Obama's center-left, you apparently assume that he is a radical socialist/communist since that can only be the case with black men on the left. It's as simple as that.
