Today NewsBusters' parent organization, the Media Research Center (MRC), revealed that ABC News is not the only network guilty of giving Democratic-donating medical doctors a microphone to "report" on President Barack Obama's government health care proposal.
CBS and NBC medical physician correspondents have also chipped in their own cash to Democratic - but never Republican - candidates.
"ABC, CBS and NBC have no excuse for the applause these doctors have given to promote the largest expansion of government-run healthcare our country has ever seen," MRC President Brent Bozell said in a statement. "There's nothing benign about giving a megaphone to doctors who have a financial stake in the success of liberals' most aggressive platform in decades," he added.
A search of OpenSecrets.org showed that:
- Prior to joining CBS, Dr. Jon LaPook gave $4,000 to Democratic presidential candidates Al Gore, John Kerry and Wesley Clark, plus a hefty $20,000 donation to the DNC.
- NBC's Nancy Snyderman gave two contributions totaling $800 to Democratic congressional candidates when she worked at the health care giant Johnson & Johnson. This was after her stint at ABC News and before joining NBC.
- ABC's Dr. David Besser gave a $400 donation to Obama's 2008 presidential campaign, a contribution made before ABC hired him and announced he would begin reporting this September.

How about they make a mistake(and raid my bank account)they can not handle simple transactions. This will let them steal my money and distribute to others???

August 5, 2009 - 19:22 ET by FastEdIt's ok for the media, in the election run-up to "vote" for the O-man, now it's ok for "old" media retirees to work for the O-guy, and now it's the tv docs who haven't seen any patients for awhile (probably because they couldn't afford the malpractice insurance) are pushing the O-docs' "health-insurance reform".
Well, I'll tell 'ya, I'm proud to be part of the right-wing mob, those of us who write our senators and congressmen and let them know that I like what I have, and if I want something different I'll go look for it. So, for the rest of you, if you want to join me in the 'mob', just remember it stands for Move Over Barack - we want our country back! - The citizens, the taxpayers, stand against what you're trying to do.

When the networks were running the constant stream of Healthcare Specials my friends and I were calling them infomercials. Not a negative word is spoken against the product the networks was shilling for the administration. Now those who speak out against their enlightened wisdom are mocked by these same networks and labled extremists. Is anyone shocked anymore by media bias? And their audiences are going going.....
