Well, sports fans, at least we had some excitement last night after mostly boring blowouts throughout the afternoon.
What a fabulous finish between W. Kentucky and Gonzaga regardless of the missed TO call. Purdue-Washington was a real pleasure, as was Duke-Texas.

On to basketball, two teams in the Eastern Conference are currently playoff bound -- with sub-.500 record? Also, is this LeBron's year?
Looks like some fabulous battles ahead for the top playoff spots in the NHL.

If it wasn't for Ty Lawson's heroics in the second half they'd probably been headed back down I-40 to Chapel Hill with their heads down. Now it is west on I-40 to Memphis and a meeting with Gonzaga. Will Cleveland State be this year's Cinderella? I think they are the only team left that could be considered for that.

I was mad as hell that they let them tie it up and when Goodson made that score my whole family was screaming so loud the neighbors could hear us.

Goodson has a long way to go...he is going to be enjoyable to watch for a few years to come.
