Tonight's Comedy Video Open Thread will again feature your recommendations. Readers are encouraged to submit suggestions to Noel and Warner via PM or EM (nsheppard@newsbusters.org, igcolonel@hotmail.com).

Our first submission comes from NBer AnotherFedUpOne, and is absolutely delicious.

Imagine the federal government owns the auto companies, and folks like Nancy Pelosi, Ted Kennedy, and Barney Frank are designing the cars we drive. Scary stuff embedded right...trust me.

Do you not read Iowahawk, already? You are really missing out if you don't!!! He is the best satirist on the web. I wish he would try to publish some of his stuff, he is so hilarious. He wrote this little skit on the Pelosimobile awhile back, and then some radio dude, the voice you hear, "borrowed" it and didn't bother to say who had written it. He was angry at first, but decided to make the video to go with it, since the guy read it so well. I just started reading his stuff, {the teleprompter one is great,too} about 2 yrs ago. Since then, I have gone back and read all the way back to stuff he has up he wrote in like 98-99. The stories about Dan Rather/Mary Mapes are freakin' great. He writes for several small magazines now, and he has one up about Henry Waxman as an alien on Big Hollywood.

Iowahawk is a big time car dude, too, so if you aren't in to that, do what I do, and skip over those. I wish he had them listed in some way on his site, what's there, but I just keep hitting the back tag at the top, and it takes you back in time. I think I will e-mail him a suggestion to somehow list all his offerings so that they are easier to get to and find again. He also writes some crazy mash-ups, where he takes politics, and old tv shows, and stuff like that, and writes new scripts. He has a strange brain, but funny.

I can only pray that he doesn't cheat his way to winning in Nevada again...but I fear the mushy mouthed wimp will.

mizflame...no thank you! You do not know how bad I needed this laughter...it has been such a good day here today, so this tops it off...the Teleprompter video from Mike was absolutely precious...I am still laughing with that one..talk about SO TRUE!

I have got to pass some of these on...which I will.

I am having some problems with my computer, which is driving me nuts to-boot, it happened once before about a year and a half ago and I can't remember what I did to fix it.

I can't dragndrop or insert links, problems with my emails doing dragndrop too. Seems like I need to do something with Flash...or oh well, I'll figure it out later.

This comedy is so needed now and has been really good tonight!

Thanks for doing the Miller post. It is my favorite. I have put links to it in my posts here a few times, but hadn't thought to do it on the Comedy thread. I had never seen the Onion one before. That was totally hilarious. I see you are a big fan of Dave Burge {IOWAHAWK} also. I look forward to his stuff, and get frustrated when he tries to have a real life and leaves us hanging for days, waiting for new stuff. That is a talented family. His son and daughter both sing and play guitar, and they are good.
