Global Warming Symposium canceled
December 19, 2008 - 17:24 ET by c5thenThe global warming symposium slated to be held in Las Vegas this year had to be canceled as flights into and out of the desert mecca were canceled due to an unexpected and record setting snow storm that paralyzed the city.
Next year's symposium will be scheduled for a site closer to the equator, say the organizers, to prevent cooling temperatures from causing another cancellation. Belize and Gabon are said to be high on the list of possibilities.

Further Undeniable Proof That Man-made Global Warming is Real
December 20, 2008 - 03:15 ET by Rush FanAs an expert on Global Warming (I read the AP and Wikipedia, as well as watch NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN and MSNBC faithfully, the fact that the world-wide climate has gotten colder is further proof of man-made Global Warmimg. Why? Just because.
Wikipedia states:"the overwhelming majority of scientists working on climate change agree with the IPCC's main conclusions"
AP Science Writer Seth Borenstein wrote that global warming is "a ticking time bomb." Although Borenstein, like Al Gore, does not have a scientific background, he doesn't need it for he once tried out for the Florida Marlins (unsuccessfully).
Although Borenstein has been criticized for "irrational hysteria," "horrifically bad" and "incredibly biased" these critics still can't dispute the undeniable fact that Borenstein tried out for the Florida Marlins (unsuccessfully).
Just because the UN claimed 2,500 scientists supported its key claim that
human-generated greenhouse gases are the primary cause of global warming. But those 2,500 weren't asked to support it--they were only asked to review it. Only 62 completed the review, and 55 had serious concerns, leaving a total of seven to support the science that is the basis of the IPCC climate-change policy does not deter from the undeniable fact that seven scientist support Global Warming! So there!
