Bozell On 'Fox & Friends' Discusses New MRC Study, Joe Biden's Testy Interview

"What you've got here is a situation of the bias by commission at work where they are just promoting Obama at every opportunity, and then the bias by omission which is even more egregious, which is refusing to challenge him on anything," Media Research Center President Brent Bozell argued on the October 27 "Fox and Friends."

Bozell appeared on the Fox News Channel morning show to discuss an MRC study showing the broadcast networks by a 3:1 margin attack McCain ads for factual errors over Obama ad inaccuracies.

The NewsBusters publisher also discussed the Obama campaign shutting out a Florida TV station from access to interviews after a news anchor asked Sen. Joe Biden about charges that Sen. Barack Obama's policies were "Marxist" being predicated on "spread[ing] the wealth around.":

BRENT BOZELL: It's a well-placed arrogance in the sense that they've gone through this entire campaign without being questioned seriously by anyone except for this news network.... But when you go through the entirety of the campaign saying the kind of things that you're saying in the debates, for every question you've got a redistribution of wealth answer, where you've got socialism, where you've got the government controlling every aspect of life. You don't expect every reporter to ask you, "Is this socialism?" Because the media don't ask that question.

Let's play the ole "What if?" game

You all know this game and the rules ...

What if Sarah Palin asked Charley or Katie or <fill in the blank with any other primetime ambushing media hack> "Who writes your questions?" "Where do you get such tripe?" "You've got to be kidding me. How many years in the business and you ask me that???"

Yes, we all know the field day that would have ensued. Hell, the MSM field day has been ongoing since Sarah showed she's just another everyday person.

Lipstick on a pig

What was it that Obama said, "You put lipstick on a pig, it is still a pig."

Well, the same goes for Obama's statement for sharing the wealth. "When you take what one person earns and give it to a person that hasn't earned it, that is redistribution of wealth which is socialism." No matter how you describe it, "spreading the wealth", "sharing the wealth", "redistribution of wealth" or "giving a income tax break to those who don't pay income tax", it is still "Marxist socialism". Socialism isn't what this country is about.

Remember folks, it's hard to soar with eagles when you are surrounded by a flock of turkeys.

Cultural Marxism

Sentry:   "No matter how you describe it, "spreading the wealth", "sharing the wealth", "redistribution of wealth" or "giving a income tax break to those who don't pay income tax", it is still "Marxist socialism"."

The Long March Marches On

They cannot handle questions like this (i.e. Obama & Joe the Plumber) because they cannot compete in the arena of ideas.  They have to suppress opposition because they cannot substantively debate logical differing opinions.  If Obama is elected with a majority of both house & senate, expect the Obamites to begin a campaign of informing.  We will have new bureaucracies that will be watching for those that do not follow the party line.  The SCOTUS has two to three just waiting to retire- holding off to keep Bush from making an appointment.  It will not be nice.  What we have seen so far is a day at kindergarten.  The destruction of Joe and the cutting off of the news station is a portent of what is coming.

Do not EVER again refer to

Do not EVER again refer to Biden as "Joe the Plumber". Get your facts straight.

On the other hand, "Joe the Turd" is fine by me.

EDIT: Oh, I see--you're referring to "Obama (as in history/fraud/etc.)" and "Joe the Plumber (as in the question he asked)" as questions to be avoided.  My apologies.  "Joe the Turd" stands, though. ;)

Good Afternoon Kid.

Joe the turd is even better than cockamamy Joe Do we have your permission to refer to him as Joe the Turd from now on?

Call Joe the Plumber

Joe the Turd is fine with me.  We'll call Joe the Plumber to fix the plumbing that Joe the big Turd is plugging up.  Their whole plan is nothing but a big pile of turds anyway.  Joe the Plumber may have helped unplug the drain.

Saturday Night Live less biased than MSM

Saturday Night Live lampooned Biden's "International Crisis" speech and also made fun of Congressman Murtha's assertion that Western Pennsylvanians are racist rednecks.  Combined with their parody of the MSM's kid gloves treatment of Obama during the Democratic primary debates ("Senator Obama, can I get you a pillow?") this show is now demonstrably a less biased source of political news than NBC, CBS, CNN, ABC, CNBC, PBS, and MSNBC.

Sad.
