Palin won. The proof is
October 3, 2008 - 01:24 ET by MikeknaJPalin won.
The proof is in the spin. The Obama camp is talking about how Palin didn't separate her and McCain from Bush enough. It's not about how Palin is an idiot, which is the meme they've been running on.
She won. The narrative has changed. We'll see how it affects the polls.

Hmm. Interesting analysis
October 3, 2008 - 03:44 ET by Indiana JoeHmm. Interesting analysis style. "The narrative has changed."
Makes sense. They see she didn't fulfill their prediction, so they have to find something else she failed at.
Good. I like it.

there is no accent here in in the NW...come on, I am from Ca. originally, I have lived all over the NW including Ak. for quite awhile, many years...what accent is there in the NW?
There are no 'r's after an a 'A' like many I hear that live on the east coast talking...for example Cuber for Cuba...lol...
...these people have absolutely zilch for room to talk...
Btw..she left Sandpoint, Id. before she was walking or talking...she was basically raised in Ak.

I don't want to jump into you and Ster's little love-fest, but I can't seem to find a single liberal who thinks that Palin should be allowed anywhere near being a leader. That seems to be their main argument against her.
Would you care to clarify that, please?

October 3, 2008 - 01:51 ET by NeoConfirmedCNN is laughable with their pundits sitting in front of their computers so they don't have to pay attention to the BS flying around. Anyway, I was impressed with Palin but I have to admit that Biden wasn't bad. Switched over to MSNBC to see Rachel Maddow railing against Sarah. There's no doubt Rachel would like private meetings with Palin. What surprised me was Pat Buchanan's take that Biden got his butt whipped.
CNN disgusting as usual

October 3, 2008 - 01:50 ET by jawebster1President! She is wonderful! She is a breath of fresh air! She is a Super Star! Sarah Palin, IMHO, gave the best debate performance since John F. Kennedy, even better than Ronald Reagan! Check that. Sarah Palin gave the best debate performance ever! Even Mort Kondrake, who hates her because she is pro-life, had nice things to say about her. Take that, Chris "thrill up my leg" Matthews! Jim Webster

October 3, 2008 - 02:04 ET by jawebster1I'm talking debate performance. Her looks, her presentation, her likeability, her genuineness, all contributed to one helluva performance. Reagan was good, but let's face it, he was in his prime when he was making movies. JFK was in his prime (40s) and so was she. Palin was best! Jim Webster
Jim
October 3, 2008 - 02:09 ET by NeoConfirmedI hear what you're saying but let's not let age be an issue in performance. I'm assuming that you're old enough to remember those Reagan/Carter debates when they happened. It's what first got me interested in politics. Palin Won
October 3, 2008 - 02:04 ET by d1carterThe problem with McCain-Palin is they will have to beat the rabid MSM and BO-Biden. The MSM is heavily invested in seeing their candidate win and believe will do what ever it takes to make it so. I think we truly are seeing the death of objective "journalism".
This is going to be a struggle for Repubs with the economic problems, the MSM bias, and not much time left for BO or Biden to make a fatal error.
Chris Matthew's numbers
October 3, 2008 - 02:06 ET by TexndocCould Newsbusters post the ratings once they are available? I refuse to even tune to MSNBC and from the clips here I am astounded they would hold a "newscast" (and I use the term very loosely) with a completely biased audience of Obama hacks waving signs and banners and cheering/booing the ENTIRE show. I'm convinced they must be tanking big (please please PLEASE watch us). Why on earth would any Republican/Conservative commentator, political campaign worker, politician, even bother with them any more?

October 3, 2008 - 18:40 ET by bigtimerThis is all hilarious...
Hey Jack I know two Senators from Maine that fit right into that Mainiac category...
What is really sad is the ridiculous stuff they are making up about Palin, the words they make fun of Pres. Bush about if he mangles them but never about something like this, this is just a list of them all, plus think of Barney Franks when he talks, or mumbling Ted Kennedy "OsamaObama" ring a bell...I heard some talking head yesterday on msnbc that hosts an hour show use the phrase Alaskan language...I about died laughing, he was serious...I could go on and on...it is always someone on the left who criticizes the right with their elite leftist propaganda for the death of whoever they are skewing.

October 3, 2008 - 03:16 ET by Amber23Gov. Sarah Palin is my inspiration for young Republicans as myself. We are riduculed quite a lot. The liberals show their hatred for anyone that does not agree with them; I and my friends see this everyday at work. I'm sure that if you have read any of my posts you will know some of the story.
Gov. Palin, will fight for America, I am so happy she quoted Reagan "..Freedom is always just one generation away from extinction.."
We do not need big government. We need government on the side of the people again. We do not need the governement telling us who is burden on society with state run health care. We do not need the government ignoring us.
Let the people be free.
I switched over to MSNBC...
October 3, 2008 - 04:25 ET by jawebster1and watched Chris Matthews on a late night repeat of his show. He was interviewing Howard Fineman and Roger Simon. Freedom is always just one generation away from extinction
October 3, 2008 - 04:52 ET by Amber23I'm sorry, but given President elect Obama's ties to communism and corruption, we must be concerned. Yes, concerned that one of my friends an immigrant from the Ukraine is scared to death of.
