MRC's Bozell on 'Fox & Friends' Discussing Media Bias, Negative Advertising

MRC President and NewsBusters Publisher Brent Bozell appeared live in the New York studio on the September 16 "Fox & Friends" to discuss negative campaigning this presidential season, as well as the media's bias.

Bozell noted that the bias in the media often manifests as a bias by omission and/or a double standard:

STEVE DOOCY, co-host: Because everybody in the mainstream media seems to be beating up Sarah Palin, what stories are nobody covering on the Left?

BRENT BOZELL, MRC President: Pick one. [September] 7th, Joe Biden on Meet the Press, asked about abortion, he said as a Catholic he believes, believes, that life begins at conception. Now, if you believe life begins at conception and you support every measure that's in favor of abortion, you in your heart of hearts are supporting murder. And you are voting for murder if you do that, and no one's questioning him on that.

BOZELL: Why [has] he supported murder? I mean, if a Republican did that -- I always reverse it. If a Republican did it, what would be the media reaction? And, you know, they would crucify the Republican for that.
