But it doesn't surprise me at all that Mrs. Obama pandered to the regular folks.
She wants people to feel like they're "regular folks" because they were burdened by student loans just like everyone else and they struggled (until Barack wrote those books, which enabled them to pay them off)

"After watching Senator Kennedy, I think he is one of this country's greatest politicians ever, and I am a Republican"...
I thought about calling the Democrat(ic) phone number to ask if any of the Kopechnes were in the crowd tonight, but, thought, nah, why bother?
I also asked myself, and the faithful wife at this shrubber's side, while watching footage of the drones and sheep in the convention audience, who would be retarded enough to actually go to a political convention? I mean, come on. Watching these middle-aged, dumpy broads in goofy hats and 37 pieces of Chotchskie flair all over their blouses, clapping and dancing along to a poorly-Muzak'ed rendition of "Don't Stop" made me wonder: three days of exposure to these dimwits would drive this shrubber insane.
