TWO INCREDIBLE IRRITANTS
June 20, 2008 - 18:16 ET by reelman46TWO INCREDIBLE IRRITANTS
Let’s vent.
One tumor on national politics is the practice of bills covering many
topics. Many issues. The royal congress adds this and that until you
have 2-5 or more potatoes in the soup. If they had to vote on the Ten
Commandments none would take them one by one. Then the voters would
never be certain of their position on each. This promotes the “scratch
my back and I will scratch yours” approach. It also allows weasel words
and the hiding of votes that a single clear bill on ONE issue would
strongly discourage. Why should any bill have to be that complex? Its
because this planned disgusting tactic allows hiding things (mainly the
exact congressional position) from the voters. Outside of buying votes
they hide votes best. What if every bill stood on its own so voters
could have a clear no-nonsense record to evaluate the royal congress?
We can dream. Just remember its all purposeful. Its part of the
arrogant corruption.
The other “tick on the dog” is the constant trying to excuse bad
behavior by pointing to other bad behavior. This waffling
topic-shifting baloney dominates the TV today. Ask a question
(especially about or to a liberal) and you so often hear the liberal
responding with some baloney about what another person or party did.
Hey, answer the question. For God’s sake, answer the question. Its not
about some other person or party…its not a comparison question. Just
answer the question. Be an adult, not a child caught doing something so
you tell Momma “brother Bubba did something worse”….let me tell you.”
Ask a BHO staffer (for example) about BHO’s oil position-solutions and
you get some yak about McCain. Please answer the question. So few news
folks have the training or spine to stop the politician or staffer or
supporter at once and say, “pointing at other behavior or positions to
excuse yours is not allowed here”. Today’s journalists are such
pandering jellyfish the voters are left with most of their “questions”
unanswered. Maybe a trap door should open when a politician shifts to
another person’s behavior or position. Yeah, we viewers could hear the
scream as he-she hits 5 feet of water about 10 feet below the door.
Maybe (maybe) that would cure this juvenile tactic. Answer the question
without even mentioning another person or party.
Thanks media, you are again part of the problem.
