The U.S. population will soar to 438 million by 2050 and the Hispanic population will triple, according to projections released Monday by the Pew Research Center...The projected growth in the U.S. population — 303 million today — will be driven primarily by immigration among all groups except the elderly...By 2030, all 79 million boomers will be at least 65 and the elderly will grow faster than any other age group...New immigrants and their children and grandchildren born in the USA will account for 82% of the population increase from 2005 to 2050...There will be 72 young and elderly for every 100 people of working age by 2050 compared with 59 in 2005. The gap would widen more if immigration slows because immigrants tend to be of working-age, the report said.
This raises some important questions: First, given these populatation projections, how can America afford Social Security and Medicare in their current form, let alone the universal healthcare plans of Hillary or Obama? Second, isn't that last bolded sentence a death knell for immigration reform?

February 12, 2008 - 13:27 ET by Lame CherryNewsbusters editors can focus all they like on population and illegals as much as others are talking about white minorities, but there is an object in the sky which behooves American policy to stop the influx of a population fast approaching 1 billion people.
The top and correct Canadian researchers have found sediments in the deep bays of Canada linked to solar cycles that point to a cooling of earth. The current solar cycle is the most quiet on record and is thought to mirror the 1650 cooling which swept across Europe causing heavy snows and massive crop failures.
I would point out though that while the sun has been brighter the past 100 years, the last several years have had the sun producing a microwave type heating which has been absorbed by liquids causing larger storm systems and a high altitude ice for snow which does not readily melt as easy.
These factors are going to be devastating literally as the corn belt will move south and require shorter growing season varieties which do not produce as well.
Now couple that with almost a billion Americans, unskilled, needing shelter, more water and resources and taking farm land........one soon sees that the sun and cold weather is going to produce a devastating result.
China is a disaster in the offing as they can not feed themselves now and have bought up all excess Asian foods.
This is why the New York Times has been switching to Climate Change and abandoning Al Gore. They know what the real scientific record is about.
I will predict something here as it is in the Bible in the sun is going to scorch mankind. It is highly possible as the sun collapses in strength as it is currently doing in going very quiet and the microwave type heating lessens that an equal and opposite reaction will occur like a tidal wave of energy.
Yellow Dwarfs are notorious for being in fluctuation across the universe in scorching planets to freezing them. As the solar energy collapses it is Yellow Dwarf certain that a "burp" could occur in the build up and cause a massive corona ejection or a spike entire corona flare of energy which would indeed scorch earth before it went into a global cooling period again of several hundred years.
The net result of this kind of solar activity will be starvation and wars for resources as literal survival will be fought over. One can deal with a hot earth, but when it is cold wars and migrations break out as history proves.
That is why I posted here and begged Fred Thompson and the GOP to institute a Joseph Program of taking all global warming funds and granting them to homeowners to build disaster shelters and stock them with a 7 year rationed supply of food and water powered by solar cells. This will help the economy and make America secure.
I also advocate the restoration of the American traditional 7 year supply of food which this nation always housed until the last years when it was instead sold off by the cartel.
This is the national policy which must be implemented and it is the issue.
Do the same thing in Mexico and Canada and America can prosper in the high tech and the Mexican peon can stay home and prosper there being a problem for his one socialist state.
That is why a Conservative must be on the ticket with McCain as he is clueless about the reality as most people are. They see the immediate problem, but are not preparing this nation for the long term security.

I am laughing my head off...can't help it.
Btw...I don't know if McCain is going to win there, but I wonder if he is getting the message yet....I always thought he would have a rough time there for various reasons.
As an aside for those who may not know...I am not a supporter of either of these guys...but it is delicious watching the RINO having more problems...the people are speaking with their votes.
