I voted for Keyes in 1996, in 2000 I voted for Bush, and might again vote for him if an anti-life canditate gets the GOP nod. Keyes is the best canditate out there, I dont know if he is electable though. He is articulate and has strong opinions that dont change. Does anyone know what's going on with "Red Eye" on Fox? Occasionally, I'd watch it if I was up late. Lately, they've been showing Brit Hume during the week in RE's old slot, with "Red Eye" on the weekends, but earlier. Were they cancelled?
Red Eye is now on weeknights at midnight [pdt] after the repeat of Hume.
Hume should be on earlier, it's the only serious news program Fox seems to have any more. They used to show it live at 3, with a repeat at 9. Now the repeat is at 11 [which is better than midnight, I guess]. The problem is that the first showing is when most people are working and the second showing is a little too late for people who have to get up for work in the morning.

Fox News Special Report with Brit Hume is the best program on the FNC and one of only three or four I watch when I can. On the East coast Brit is on at 6:00PM, I've lost track of the rebroadcast and miss it. I would prefer it to the H & C rebroadcast at midnight, although even that is a bit late. Red Eye is garbage.
This is what has got me confused. Red Eye was on at 2:00 AM Eastern Time. I live in the Mountain Time zone. For us, RE came on at midnight, being two hours behind. Now, Special Report is on at midnight MST - displacing Red Eye. Garbage or not, I'm still curious. Does it now air at 3:00 AM EST? Yikes, it really is for red eyes...

I'm not going to repeat everything the study or Neal said. I want to emphasize the what the numbers reveal.
If Real incomes of two-thirds of all taxpayers increased over this period; and 31% (100-69.4%) stayed in the highest quintile, and 29.4% of the Fourth quintile went to a lower income level, then 79% of the non-richest people increased in income. (If we include the Third quintile, we can add another 4.9%).
Almost 80% of the non-rich increased in income in the last 10 years!!! Now I want to ask you: What happens when you retire? Your income goes down. So, how many poor are actually getting poorer? Just about zilch.
So how many of the poor stay poor? 42.4% times 20% = 8.4% who remained in the bottom quintile. Eight Percent of the poor stay poor. Now, how many people in the population will always be poor because of poor decision-making, lifestyle choices, etc?
You won't see this in the media folks!!!!

I went to the Nightwish concert in Houston last night and it was friggin' AWESOME! Only three more shows remain on their "North American Passion Play" tour: one in Ft. Lauderdale, one in Orlando, and one in Atlanta. If you are near one of those locations I suggest checking them out.
What tripped me out at that show was seeing a mosh pit open when Nightwish played "Dark Chest of Wonders". The pit re-opened at various times for various songs. One benefit was that I actually got much closer to the front because of them.
I am still stuck in the sixties with my music. I like ABBA, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, and the southern rock groups i.e. from the 70's and 80's. Who are these guys and what type of music is it?
Paradise Lost is a Britsh metal band that's been around for 20 years or so. They started out a doom-death metal band, heavy as hell, and their second album Gothic is one of my favorite albums, and really helped start that whole "gothic metal" movement. They have evolved through the years, and have put out about a dozen albums (not 100% positive), but each album of their I have has at least 1-2 good songs on it.
As for Nightwish, I am not a hug fan, but I do know they are Finnish, are huge in the European metal scene, and use alot of classical stuff in their music, as well as symphonics and have a reasonably-hot hick singer.
Don't feel bad fornot knowing this stuff. It is pretty obscure! I am a fan of alot of the bands you listed, too!
Well, Nightwish was 100% Finnish until they brought in their new lead vocalist, Anette Olzon, who is Swedish. (And kinda cute for a goth chick.) I still can't get over that concert. It friggin rocked...even if I saw no need for mosh pits there.

Remember the 25 year-old female teacher from Nebraska who ran off to Mexico with a "13 year-old student"? Haven't read or heard anything of late about it have you? Hmmm? Wonder why?
HERE is why! I only know it being a "local" out here in corn country and hearing it on the local news. The student is an illegal alien (document challenged person)! The two of them got MARRIED in Mexico but did not tell the authorities until they had flown them back to Nebraska with taxpayer money. In Mexico, it is legal to marry a 13 year-old WITH the written permission of the minor's guardian or parent. They had it and even had a "helluva" wedding celebration party where the entire town turned out the night before. Local TV news there and here had some of the video and photos.
Also, it now appears the "13 year-old" is at least 16 and maybe even older. In Nebraska, 16 is the age of consent for "transporting a minor across state lines with intentions of ---- and so on". It appears la bandita school marm broke no laws!
It also appears this was WELL planned out. The couple has already applied for a Green Card for the groom and all of the many federal and state benefits he and his extended family automatically qualify for. He listed 19 brothers and 12 sisters!! So he's now legal in the U.S. for good. She broke no laws. He did break a law listing his age as 13 to get into a grade where he could handle the curriculum with his native language being Spanish. Misdemeanor with $100 or a week in jail. Wow! It is normal to list ages wrong with illegal aliens for obvious reasons. There are many 20+year-old illegals in American high schools today! BUT it is now illegal in most states to require a birth certificate to prove age as that would also be requiring proof of citizenship and that is a BIG no-no!! A felony and years in prison for asking to see a birth certificate!
The TOTAL idiot prosecutor in the case rather than let it die admitting he and their state has been royally had wants to press charges that the kid IS 13 so that she can be charged with "transporting a minor -- ". He says "I have irrefutable evidence of his age!" WHAT evidence? He won't say. The kid has his Mexican birth certificate and, it was said, it shows him as being of legal age. Looking at the kid - he is NOT 13!! If he is then Rosie just turned "Sweet 16"!
His family is all over the state of Nebraska in the local media goading them to bring charges. WHY? Well, they've named most everyone in hisextended family as "material witnesses for the defense". Under our wacky legal system, the taxpayers must pay to transport, feed, clothe and shelter the "witnesses"! Cousins, uncles, anyone who claims to be related and so on. I heard the list of "relatives" who claim to be "material witnesses" is now over 100! The entire damn village!!! El banditos es muy smart!!
As long as the trial is in process, the contingent of what sounds like an entire Mexican village has to be moved to Nebraska and then not touched. We have to take care of their every need. The ACLU has already volunteered free legal aid. Including appeals, this will go on for years! And, when it is finished, "Mr. and Mrs." will sue for harassment and false arrest and whatever else the ACLU, La Rasa and whoever else comes up with. What about the Mexican village? Will they all quietly go home when the trial finally ends? What does a bear do in the woods!
Once again, the American public has been made a complete fool of. And rightfully so. We had it coming. We'll keep doing this over and over and over. So, remember, from now on, when the story suddenly disappears, THAT is the time to go dig to find out what else happened. THAT is when it truly gets interesting. One of the local stories I read quoted the "groom" as saying their "group" believes they'll get over a million dollars in government aid before this is all over. That's not counting the law suits after this ends. Rather than drop the whole thing, they've temporarily shipped the "bride" to a jail in California (no clue why) and are arranging transportation for those who are on the "material witness" list assuming the prosecutor brings charges against the "bride". Watching the prosecutor's press conference (covered ONLY on local media) it is obvious he is going to do it. The "gang of 100" is goading the guy to the nth degree. Calling him ethic slur words (some I never heard of) to keep him so mad he'll not drop the charges. As soon as formal charges are brought against the "bride", a chartered 727 packed with 100+ "giddy with delight new "document challenged" American residents get added to this total mess of a country we now have.
Did anyone just read what I just wrote? Does anyone give a damn!!??

Where did your story come from? I just saw the teacher's lawyer on O'Reilly. They kept referring to the kid as 13 years old and there was no mention of a marriage in Mexico. O'Reilly said several times that she was being charged with transporting a minor over state lines for sexual purposes and the lawyer never contradicted him. Instead, he kept saying it was all the kids idea.

Only three more shows remain on their "North American Passion Play" tour: one in Ft. Lauderdale, one in Orlando, and one in Atlanta. What tripped me out at that show was seeing a mosh pit open when Nightwish played "Dark Chest of Wonders". The pit re-opened at various times for various songs. One benefit was that I actually got much closer to the front because of them.

They started out a doom-death metal band, heavy as hell, and their second album Gothic is one of my favorite albums, and really helped start that whole "gothic metal" movement. They have evolved through the years, and have put out about a dozen albums (not 100% positive), but each album of their I have has at least 1-2 good songs on it.
As for Nightwish, I am not a hug fan, but I do know they are Finnish, are huge in the European metal scene, and use alot of classical stuff in their music, as well as symphonics and have a reasonably-hot hick singer.
Don't feel bad fornot knowing this stuff. It is pretty obscure! I am a fan of alot of the bands you listed, too!

Long gone are the days when I would wade into a mosh pit during a Minor Threat or Descendents show... when the occasional skinhead would try to wade in , elbows flying, and then get his ass whooped by everybody (that was always fun!)...
When I saw a mosh pit form during a Madonna performance on MTV ten years or so ago, it was all over.

Charles Rangel, chairman of the House tax committee, has proposed reducing the federal corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 30.5 percent. Henry Paulson, Secretary of the Treasury, is also promoting a corporate rate cut. These efforts should gain wide support because both businesses and workers would benefit as rate cuts spurred rising investment and improved productivity.
However, Rangel and Paulson seem to be assuming that a corporate rate cut needs to be matched with tax
increases to ensure that government revenue isn't reduced. But there is growing evidence that a corporate rate cut would generate strong dynamic responses that would produce higher, not lower, federal tax revenues. …

expand sufficiently for revenues to increase. The U.S. corporate tax rate seems to be above that rate, and thus in a strong Laffer zone. If anyone reads this -- please speak up so I know I'm not just typing to myself. This would be a perfect story for one of those who write what we all comment on to pick it up and run with it.
Remember the 25 year-old female teacher from Nebraska who ran off to Mexico with a "13 year-old student"? Haven't read or heard anything of late about it have you? Hmmm? Wonder why?
HERE is why! I only know it being a "local" out here in corn country and hearing it on the local news. The student is an illegal alien (document challenged person)! The two of them got MARRIED in Mexico but did not tell the authorities until they had flown them back to Nebraska with taxpayer money. In Mexico, it is legal to marry a 13 year-old WITH the written permission of the minor's guardian or parent. They had it and even had a "helluva" wedding celebration party where the entire town turned out the night before. Local TV news there and here had some of the video and photos.
Also, it now appears the "13 year-old" is at least 16 and maybe even older. In Nebraska, 16 is the age of consent for "transporting a minor across state lines with intentions of ---- and so on". It appears la bandita school marm broke no laws!
It also appears this was WELL planned out. The couple has already applied for a Green Card for the groom and all of the many federal and state benefits he and his extended family automatically qualify for. He listed 19 brothers and 12 sisters!! So he's now legal in the U.S. for good. She broke no laws. He did break a law listing his age as 13 to get into a grade where he could handle the curriculum with his native language being Spanish. Misdemeanor with $100 or a week in jail. Wow! It is normal to list ages wrong with illegal aliens for obvious reasons. There are many 20+year-old illegals in American high schools today! BUT it is now illegal in most states to require a birth certificate to prove age as that would also be requiring proof of citizenship and that is a BIG no-no!! A felony and years in prison for asking to see a birth certificate!
The TOTAL idiot prosecutor in the case rather than let it die admitting he and their state has been royally had wants to press charges that the kid IS 13 so that she can be charged with "transporting a minor -- ". He says "I have irrefutable evidence of his age!" WHAT evidence? He won't say. The kid has his Mexican birth certificate and, it was said, it shows him as being of legal age. Looking at the kid - he is NOT 13!! If he is then Rosie just turned "Sweet 16"!
His family is all over the state of Nebraska in the local media goading them to bring charges. WHY? Well, they've named most everyone in hisextended family as "material witnesses for the defense". Under our wacky legal system, the taxpayers must pay to transport, feed, clothe and shelter the "witnesses"! Cousins, uncles, anyone who claims to be related and so on. I heard the list of "relatives" who claim to be "material witnesses" is now over 100! The entire damn village!!! El banditos es muy smart!!
As long as the trial is in process, the contingent of what sounds like an entire Mexican village has to be moved to Nebraska and then not touched. We have to take care of their every need. The ACLU has already volunteered free legal aid. Including appeals, this will go on for years! And, when it is finished, "Mr. and Mrs." will sue for harassment and false arrest and whatever else the ACLU, La Rasa and whoever else comes up with. What about the Mexican village? Will they all quietly go home when the trial finally ends? What does a bear do in the woods!
Once again, the American public has been made a complete fool of. And rightfully so. We had it coming. We'll keep doing this over and over and over. So, remember, from now on, when the story suddenly disappears, THAT is the time to go dig to find out what else happened. THAT is when it truly gets interesting. One of the local stories I read quoted the "groom" as saying their "group" believes they'll get over a million dollars in government aid before this is all over. That's not counting the law suits after this ends. Rather than drop the whole thing, they've temporarily shipped the "bride" to a jail in California (no clue why) and are arranging transportation for those who are on the "material witness" list assuming the prosecutor brings charges against the "bride". Watching the prosecutor's press conference (covered ONLY on local media) it is obvious he is going to do it. The "gang of 100" is goading the guy to the nth degree. Calling him ethic slur words (some I never heard of) to keep him so mad he'll not drop the charges. As soon as formal charges are brought against the "bride", a chartered 727 packed with 100+ "giddy with delight new "document challenged" American residents get added to this total mess of a country we now have.
Did anyone just read what I just wrote? Does anyone give a damn!!??

They kept referring to the kid as 13 years old and there was no mention of a marriage in Mexico. O'Reilly said several times that she was being charged with transporting a minor over state lines for sexual purposes and the lawyer never contradicted him. Instead, he kept saying it was all the kids idea.
