Is this the lowly state of judges in this country, that they can't be expected to provide a resoned explanation for their judgements? Does "anything goes" apply in this country from now on? These people really believe that their "rights" are being violated here. The only thing that is being violated is the law, morals, language itself (ie, definition of marriage), and the principals and beliefs that this country was founded on. Throw this judge out, and do it quickly. We as a nation should not be subjected to this outlandish and illegal activity anymore.

I will not argue with you about attorneys serving at the pleasure of the President. I'm not saying he did not have the right, but this is the first time in history attorneys were fired mid-term right? Also it seems Gonzo is not being as truthful as he can be. I liked the way the article plays with numbers to imply that Paul is getting more support than his pathetic 2% in the polls indicate. The writer talks about how since Paul has raised $3,000,000 dollars, he is now fourth in fund raising amongst a field of eight candidates. That statement puts Paul into the top 50% of the field. But then you look at the amounts raised by the top three, Romney - $44,000,000, Giuliani - $35,000,000, and McCain - $25,000,000, and you see there's no race here. In fact Sam Brownback has now outraised Paul, so now Paul is in the bottom 50%.
I think we're seeing a redux of the Howard Dean campaign. We're hearing all about the role the web will play in the election, and grass-roots support via the internet, and yada, yada, yada. Yet when it comes time to vote, all the little net geeks will be off playing Halo 3 and never show up to vote. The web provides a huge voice to a small number of people, but not many votes.
The perfect redux being Pauls assertion that 9/11 was our own fault due to our own Foreign policy in the first Republican Debate = The Howard Dean Scream.
Just read over on Drudge that Brian De Palma's new movie is shocking audiences at Venice film festival. Seems he has made a movie about the 2003 rape and murder of an Iraqi girl, "Redacted" is the title. De Palma says he got all his information for the movie from the internet.
He stated his goal is to get the American people so angry that they will contact their Congressmen to have them vote against the war.
Way to go De Palma, push you anti-American agenda on the world, no problem.
Too bad the anti-American didn't make a movie about the hundreds of rapes perpetrated by Saddam's boys. Just think how many Iraqi girls have been spared because the USA had the courage to depose Saddam and his rapist-sadist sons.

I live in Vanceboro. I have watched the computer every day since tickets went on sell. Finally Monday they put up a thing saying that the game is sold out. I have one more chance. One of my co-workers bought season tickets. He is going to VA Tech so he said he may not go next week. If he doesn't I can have his tickets. The media is biased but even if the media is against you if your message is what the voters want to hear they will come. The proof is Lieberman and his uphill climb, the people wanted what he had to sell and he won. The same with Paul, if teh people want his message they will flock to him...otherwise I give him 3 more months and then his campaign is pushing daisies.
Expect us in the Republican primaries until it's settled, dude. We've got PLENTY of money, and because of supporters like the innovative Orlando Ron Paul anti-Edwards Airforce that campaign money simply ain't gettin' spent, so regardless of the media bias our many naysayers will need to await an actual election, whine as they will until then....

Clinton's FEMA, on the other hand, arrives a week or so late in NC during Floyd, yet FEMA under him is often described as working great, until Bush came in and screwed it all up, that is.
Clinton ignores the growing terrorist threat for 8 years, allowing 9/11 to happen, and sells top secret technology to the Chinese, allowing them to accurately target American cities where before they couldn't, and he's a great commander-in-chief; Bush actually tries to do something about the terrorist threat, and he is an evil, lying, torturing Nazi who attacked his own country and is taking away everyone's civil liberties, all for oil and over-priced Pepsi.
Clinton is used because, a. he is the most recent, and b. the hypocrisy is just so obvious, it can't be ignored.
Against another pain-doctor, featuring more lies to a jury... If big government's holy, tax & spend drugwar were such a paragon of virtue, one would think that telling the truth would be a tiny bit more important to its proponents -- but alas, reality is reality.

I have one more chance. One of my co-workers bought season tickets. He is going to VA Tech so he said he may not go next week. If he doesn't I can have his tickets. It is going to be hard to sit in all that purple and gold wearing the most beautiful color in the world, Carolina Blue.
