FANTASTIC! Best one yet
February 5, 2008 - 05:57 ET by SouthJersey1953Loved the beginning where Jodi and the 'laugh track' thanked the hate filled libs for helping make NewsBusted #1
Excellent from beginning to end! I tried, but couldn't figure out what Jodi said under her breath when the laugh track boo-ed her
Great job.....

February 5, 2008 - 13:12 ET by Matthew SheffieldThis was one of our favorites as well. Great work on the part of the writers, production staff, and of course Jodi!

February 5, 2008 - 14:05 ET by bigtimer...and include yourself here Matthew...your persistence and determination have won out on those who had doubts...everything takes time, belief and hard work!
I love the results..nothing like laughter...and making it to Number One..well what more can one ask for, with the exception of more...hehehee!

February 5, 2008 - 14:15 ET by LeonBT,
Not to burst your bubble, but Newsbusted is actually significantly underperforming.
So far there are 54,746 channel views.
There are currently 42 Newsbusted videos.
On average there are 3,000 guests on Newsbusters at anytime throughout the day. I have no idea how many total guests come throughout the day (prob. higher than 3,000), but we can confidently say there are a minimum of 3,000 people viewing newsbusters a day, most likely several thousand more.
That means that Newsbusted on youtube is average at MOST 1/3 of the Newsbusters website traffic (approx. 1,300 views per video).
That's actually not good at all.
Couple that with the fact that Newsbusted's only competition is a bunch of individuals recording out of their basements and you've got a pretty depressing situation.
I wouldn't adovacate these rankings b/c once you drill down on them, you don't get a very flattering picture.

You couldn't burst any bubble of mine.

February 5, 2008 - 17:10 ET by TruthMongerdid anyone else hear the laugh track after leon's post?
Leon, You are free to post on youtube, and outscore NewsBusted
February 5, 2008 - 17:01 ET by upcountrywaterIt's still free to do so, post some of your faves from NPR, or whatever, dance clips have the highest ratings, that may be your calling.
Dance Leon dance, that's "the reality of the situation"

Not to Burst your bubble Leon - but Pop goes the weasel!
February 5, 2008 - 18:25 ET by Dee BunkI'm just kidding - don't get all riled up. In all seriousness though, you are all wet with your analysis because embedded videos don't even show up as Youtube views so all of the people who watch Newsbusted on Newsbusters are not even counted. Only those of us who go over there and make comments are counted.
I agree, Matthew
February 5, 2008 - 14:22 ET by RJThat was one of my favorites, too.
Great followup to your "Top Viewers" performance last week.
Matthew, please tell us what she mumbles
February 5, 2008 - 17:12 ET by SouthJersey1953Matthew, please tell us what Jodi mumbles under her breath after the boo-track......(or PM me if you want to keep it secret)
